The lounge has now reopened, but it's not a particularly pleasant space and I wouldn't seek it out. Needs an update. It also was quite full, most people not wearing masks when not eating/drinking, like covid didn't exist. Did not feel safe.

I found everything I needed and wanted in this lounge. True, it wasn’t at all crowded at the airport and lounge (a quiet Sunday morning). One touch I liked that you don’t see everywhere is the collection of books available, on everything from nature to travel to architecture, Māori leadership… (and even fashion). Lots of fruit available - self serve coffee, water and wine. Good amount of electrical outlets. Friendly staff, good light, many plants. A « barista » making coffee drinks, similar to the Sydney lounge. Another perk I haven’t seen elsewhere: the ice cream cooler. All in all, a quite enjoyable waiting experience. I found the airport to be relatively « easy » overall - but it’s winter here (Aug. 2023), so when it’s busy or at be an entirely different experience.

Very quiet, 6 people in total. Comfy seats in a room with good natural light. Couple of tv areas and a mobile free zone but oddly no space to work (desk style seating) and a real lack of plug points. Useless for business travellers. Food was similar to domestic, salads, sarnies, plus some sad scrambled egg (it was 9am). Small selection of wine on offer and no spirits as before 11am. Compared to other international lounges it was very domestic.

Nice and spacious lounge however it could get busy during the afternoon. Nice selection light snack, fridge is well stocked with non-alcoholic drinks, self service bar and few bottles of red and white wines is available, too. Charging outlet is available in different areas of the lounge. Toilet is well maintained and hopefully they will add more staff to manage the lounge.

Went in on a Friday afternoon and lots of travelers going to Australia. Can become full house when Qantas flights are close to each other. After flights were called in, the lounge became quiet and peaceful again 😊

Hours on website are wrong and inconsistent. Lounge and staff is nice. Just be sure to not have a super early or late flight and you'll be fine.

A lovely lounge, very quiet and still well-staffed. The food was very fresh, and there was a good selection available.

had early morning flight, place was quiet. breakfast was ok. selection is ok..some eggs, sausages, and hashbrowns, same thing they serve onboard. the lounge does feature some new Zealand products like the wines and champagne and the kapiti ice cream!!!! that alone warrants 4 stars! there are showers available.

We had just gotten off a 14 hour flight from San Francisco with a 5 hour layover to Sydney. We arrived very early in the morning for a welcome with a smile. The agent, Ginny, checked us into a flight later in the day and gave us towels for a hot shower! Brunch was served, it was very delicious! Lamb Vindaloo on rice, Roasted chicken and potato Quiche.... YUM! She watched our bags while we hunted the shops and got us for our flight when we were napping! You could not ask for anything better!

I just wanted to shout out to the beautiful staff member at the lounge reception who, without us even asking, cobbled together a set of 4 chairs for our family. The lounge is currently bursting (it’s Friday afternoon) but she took it upon herself to help us out. Such initiative and kindness. What an asset to the Qantas team she is.

Am a oneworld Saphirre member who arrived at Auckland airport with 2.5 hours to spare before my lunchtime flight to Sydney. Greeted with welcoming smiles, I cannot fault any of the staff who worked yesterday, all were engaging and warm. Lounge is small but suitable for the traffic that come through. Smooth barista made tasty coffee greeted me upon entry into the lounge. The quality and variety of food hands down is the best I have ever experienced in any one world partner lounges around the globe. Delicious! Well done Auckland, loved the experience.

Outstanding private lounge for Oneworld Emerald members. Very quiet lounge with,l great ambience. The buffet is a little underwealming however you almost get the whole place to yourself.

Stopped in the morning for a quick coffee before my flight, lounge was nice! There was a small hot breakfast selection, muesli, yoghurts and fruits. Juices, water and coffee a plenty. There was a barista there making coffee as well (which was nice). Definitely worth a relax in if you are in between flights or waiting to board.

A nice lounge and a privilege to be back in it after the last few years. Assortment of buffet options and drinks available again. Clean toilets and showers and spaced out seating. Some people forget where they are with noise, kids, loud phone calls and music which detracts from the experience and should be followed up by staff.

Only good if your looking for free drinks, reception staff impersonal, busy talking about where they have been on vacation. Food low quality and poor selection. Lounge attendants were cool. Waiting for Emirates lounge to open. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I'd like to leave a 0. I normally fly nz air but tried to save some money. . Worst airline I've ever traveled. Staff was rude and unhelpful, to the point of being mean. They double charged my ticket and wouldn't fix. Then they tried to charge me $350 for a checkedcarry-onn. Plane was dirty and smelly. No real service. Overall, the trip cost me an extra $1200 not to be stranded in a foreign country. Makes Ryan air look luxurious. Then, to top it off, they lost my baggage and haven't refunded .

Small but adequate. I enjoy reading the magazines and other materials available in the Qantas lounges however none were available at this visit. Small range of hot and cold foods. Love that there's ice-cream though

Ginny at the front counter was super helpful but that was about the extent of my enjoyment at the lounge in Auckland. I’ve attached a couple of snaps of the food offering for breakfast - empty trays, basic, not able to determine what the hot food is - I think qantas can do a little better considering a premium offering from Emirates only 20m away

Amazing ladies at the front counter helped me so much, great shower facilities, awesome relaxed environment and amazing selection of food and drinks. Can’t thank the two lovely ladies who helped me with my transfer, saved me a lot of time and effort

👍👍 I've used the Post Office Public House for two years in a row now to have a gathering of 20 - 30 people, and the Jannet and the team have been more than accommodating.
