A little restaurant which used to be a train station. A lovely setting and very popular with Asian customers. Laksa & shrimp hot noodles were nice, but they can be better to achieve 5stars.

Great taste for curry mee and prawn mee, satay chicken was juicy & tender, CKT has got the wok-hei and roti is fluffy. Their beef rendang and sambal is a little sweet (not catering for msians). There's some value for $ dishes.

Great food, friendly service. 4.5 stars. Ordered the CKT which was pretty authentic, missing the lapcheong but otherwise pretty good. Rojak, omg ive missed this! Id order it take away if i had time. Poached chicken was great too! Pricing and portions makes it very attractive to drive out this way for a meal. Negative was the decor, but thats what u get for a converted train station. That aside, very good food and friendly staff, will have to come back to try the other dishes, wish it was in the shore!

Came here to dine and unfortunately have to give an update after serious Food Poisoning. I got stomachache, vomiting and very bad diarrhoea after having their Laksa, something is definitely very wrong with the cleanliness of their food. This place seems to have changed hands. No longer the same Malaysian owner. Services has definitely gone down the drain Do not recommend anymore. Avoid at all cost unless you want to get Food Poisoning.

A small makan-makan (eating place) beside the train station. Highly recommended if you want to try Malaysian Food! Sedap (delicious)! Must try - Rojak, Nasi Goreng, Sambal and Malaysian Coffee (Kofi Panas) April 1 Went back here. Tried Kampung Style Gold Friend Rice and Sweet and Sour Fish. Try the Milo Dinosaur. Yum!

Good yummy portions and great friendly service. If you crave for good sambal chilli you can buy a big bottle back. Big menu so you would be spoiled for choices.

Ordered through Menulog: Pandan wrapped chicken: the middle of the chicken was flavorful but the ends were super dry almost burnt Wontons: super saucy but the mixture had a weird taste Nasi Lemak: the most delish chicken curry love the sambal wish we had a bit more and the rice was the perfect consistency. Will be back for some chicken curry

Not a great experience after all 😟 I ordered prawn and chicken vermicelli with vege it took approx 6 min. Was an extremely hot temperature and I wondered if it had been microwaved. Almost $20 for 1 half filled container of vermicelli with 2 prawns and 3 identifiable pieces of chicken!!! Flat soggy cabbage and 6 soggy carrot sticks. Totally disappointing and it is clearly why no one else was there at 6.15pm. There is no excuse at all.

Tasty affordable Malaysian food right by/at the train station. Staff are super friendly and provide menu recommendations.

Ordered from Kampung Style Malaysian Cafe 馬來鄉味館, I ordered sweet and sour fish, 2 Ckt, one 鱼鲁米粉 and satay.. The food tasted so poor and horrible.. 🤮 Got my order wrong (already mentioned no fried onions/shallots) and also no wok hei for the food.. Paying 20+ for a one meal dish, i expect a better quality of food

Good Malaysian food with the best Sarawak taste. Famous Sarawak dishes like kampua, Char Kway Teow tomato sauce, 炒煮面。Generously portion and quick service. Situated in a old train station which really brings out more charm to the place. So many to try!

We came by for lunch since it was nearby. The restaurant is located at the train station which was interesting. Keep an eye out for the sign on the road. The place isn't very big but they do have a few tables outside too. We were able to get a table inside without booking. The menu is interesting, particularly their flying noodles, but that requires pre-ordering. We grabbed a few items to share. The char kweh tiew was nice here. It has lardon in it so it was that nice flavour. The wok hei wasn't very strong though. We also got the salted egg kumara and that was quite nice. The lamb curry was interesting as it came out in a sizzling hotpot. The flavour was quite nice and the lamb was fairly tender. The food here is quite nice. It is a great place if you like Malaysian dishes. There were a few other items here that did look interesting, particularly the flying noodles.

Not bad xial. Curry laksa ok ok very flavorful but Santan covered most of the taste. Very special location as it's within the old train station Service is fast. Food is great. Feels like home

Nice little Malaysian restaurant housed in what used to be a train station. They make their own sambal there and sell jars of it. Ordered the Prawn Mee and Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang. Flavorful food and the service was excellent. I saw they had some crazy looking noodle dish as well, not sure what it was but it looked like it would be an experience trying to eat it.

Came here for lunch with high expectations because of the reviews. Cereal prawns was overcooked and still had shell which made it hard and messy to eat. Sambal chicken wasn't savoury, fish sauce was overpowering. They didn't have glass noodles for the Char Kway Teow so they served it with vermicelli which wasn't as good. Teh Tarik was diluted. Needless to say, expectations were unmet.

👍👍 Lovely staff and fantastic food. I went to La Rosa to celebrate my birthday and it was totally worth it. Being a foodie, I have tried and tasted at most of the Italian restaurants and have found La Rosa to be one of the best. The slow cooked lamb is a must have. Would definitely come back! Keep up...

👍 Forgot to photograph the main, but all was delicious! You can pay extra to sit in the dome pictured - it costs $60 for dinner so we opted to just sit inside. Staff were friendly and attentive. The two or three course option is well priced if you are dining Sun- Thur.
