Staff/owners were so nice! Food was delicious and the portion generous. Price wasn’t cheap but given the portion, it’s not unreasonable. We tried the dooha (?) yoghurt for the first time. It was a cool new experience! Highly recommend and will go back!

Exceptionally delicious Persian food. I thoroughly recommend Ziba cafe dinner special to sample the marinated grilled lamb mince and succulent lamb kebab plus a chicken kebab complemented by fresh side salad. Mouthwatering taste of balanced perfection in beautiful decor. Hugely generous portion size. Fabulous experience. Enjoy dining here with friends!

If you want authentic Persian traditional food.. Ziba cafe is the place to go. The menu uses fresh ingredients and is really tasty. Great place for family meals or a certain celebration. The decor is beautiful and a very friendly owner who is willing to alter order to your dietary needs. Plus desert and coffee. All at very reasonable prices. Please support this cafe, you will be surprised.

It was my first time having a Persian Cuisine I reckon and it was awesome! Food was delicious and so tender. I was not able to taste the gaminess of the lamb. There are not a lot of food on the menu to choose from which is great so that you decide what you want to order right away 😅.

Best Persian food. Took me back to my Gulf days. Best costumer service the owner of the restaurant was so kind. Hospitality as always like a middle eastern family. He even gave us student discount as we where wearing school uniform.

I had lunch here today. I had chicken and lamb skewers with rice (Vaziri) and a Persian yogurt drink (doogh) on the side. Then for dessert, had a Baklava and was given the chance to try their (work in progress) saffron ice cream. Flavours were spot on, the skewers were tasty and tender, salad was great and the saffron rice was perfect. As for the desserts, I really liked that they weren’t overly sweet. The ice cream had an interesting texture (soft and cotton-like), but I liked it because it reminded me of Santol (Cotton Fruit) which we have in the Philippines. Truly, great value for great food. Can’t wait to go back already. 😉 P.S. I loved the interiors too!

Simple food with balanced spices. The new owner is a well travelled chef who specialises in Italian, Indian and Persian cuisine. The ambiance has a eclectic multicultural vibe that must be experienced. The warm welcome from the staff makes you feel right at home immediately.

This is my first time experiencing Persian food. Wow! excellent grilled skewers they are fresh and tender served with rice, seasoned just right. The lamb has been smelled well. Great! Dizi stew slow cooked in a stone crock pot with lamb pieces is stewed until tender. You should be careful when eating stew, it will have small bones in it. Here's a cozy restaurant, impressively decorated ceiling with vibrant colors, convenient location easy to see. Staff enthusiastic and helpful. I will be back.

First time to have Persian food. And I must say this place to have it is outstanding! I had the stew with their own yogurt drink which was uniquely salty-ish. The service is great. Definitely coming back!

I felt the generous and genuine hospitality of Hassan and Arash in my first visit. They are approachable, friendly, kind, professional and expert at what they do. They simply went above and beyond my expectations. The quality of food and drinks was outstadingly excellent, and the relaxed ambience of the place was especially exemplary. I cannot thank them enough for this memorable experience of Persian culture and wish them all the very best.

We have tried other Persian restaurants in Auckland and hadn't been here so went down there for a lunch. We tried their dish called Vaziri that's a mixed lamb and chicken grilled meats/kebabs served with saffron rice, grilled tomato and fresh salad. Food was scrumptious 10/10. As a critic, I could say they may add a sauce or butter on the side either complimentary or for additional $. Sharing pictures of the food and the ambiance here. Tip: The Cafe is located quite close to Henderson Train Station and WestCity mall among other eateries. Mall has 90 mins free parking.

Had a very delicious and flavorsome experience at Ziba cafe. The kebabs were juicy and tender , the stew was really delicious and has left me wanting for more. The shavarmas were fresh and very wholesome. In all had a great time with my friends who introduced us to this cafe. Hidden delight and a must try. Will definitely visit again.

Went for lunch and was surprised at the huge portions- could have easily been shared. Loved the flavors, and all ingredients were fresh too. Snuck home with a box of baklava as well at the end. Great value for money and will definitely return for dinner some time. Staff was friendly, and wait time was reasonable considering the quality of food served.

👍👍 Came in here for breakfast as after looking at and reading about other places nearby this seemed like the best option. I was not proved wrong. It was well worth it in respect to both food and service, and though not busy it was a nice place to sit in and enjoy breakfast. I chose the Goode Breakfast...
