Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in Auckland. Unlike the date I met here, the coffee never leaves a bitter taste and is genuinely good! I love how the caramel syrup actually mixes well, and so far my favorite blend is the rapture. Perfection. The employees are always friendly too and the book selection is so varied.

Awesome local cafē. Very popular with locals and great coffee. Quirky and cute atmosphere inside and also nice to sit outside and watch the world go by… if you time it right and manage to score a seat. Small but very nice selection of cabinet food too. Hidden gem in the burbs.👍🏻

Really understated cafe and we saw of just stumbled across it this morning. They have three different coffee beans to choose from which works a lot better than the 10 different coffee types to drink (which all kinda taste the same). The coffee is amazing! My partner had a mocha which he said was the best coffee he'd had all year. I had a cappuccino which was perfection. There's a few options for food from the cabinet but it's just what's in the cabinet, which was fine. When we were there, they had filled bagels, filled croissants and a few sweet treats. We shared a salmon bagel and a ham bagel and they both were really good. The combination worked well and ours was toasted to perfection. So really, a winning breakfast for feeling miserable days! The backroom was something grand! When you walk in, there's all these musical instruments to play on (a few needing tuning) but there were percussion instruments, wind instruments, guitars, ukulele, and things I dont know the name of! They were also stacks of those old lead based books, along with paperbacks. So many different styles of writing and all inviting. Peculiar items like chess boards ( you have to see it to understand its peculiarity) and niknaks too. The service was very friendly and kind! The cafe doesn't look like it has it's own allocated parking but there was plenty of street parking.

Excellent coffee stop for serious coffee drinkers, Try the Road Runner blend a strong bold full flavoured beans. Also a nice cosy setup and sitting area inside.

Always good coffee. Sit inside or out. Nice little snug down the back. Great amount of interesting posters etc line the walls. Not what you would expect to find in the suburbs. Well done.

We were here before 8.30 and there was very little available to eat. No savory muffins or scones and they don't make smoothies. The coffee was good but didn't make up for the lack of food available.

Funky and great coffee. 4 of us cleaned them out of cabinet food and cold drinks (at 12 lunchtime) so pity any customers that followed.

Great coffee, with a variety of different strengths/blends to choose from, and the jar filled with free cookies was a lovely surprise. I had one with my coffee, it was delicious. Good service too. Cheers guys :-)

The coffee aroma was wonderful as I walked in and my coffee expectations were set, only to receive what was basically a cup of warm , frothy oat milk with a hint of coffee if you concentrated! My friend had ordered a single shot in her flat white but I made sure mine was a double. I asked if mine was a single, he said no. I said it doesn’t even taste like coffee and he walked away. Never gong back there again… well not for coffee… but I doubt I will be able to resist returning to buy an almond croissant as it was the best I have ever had!

Coffee is great! Love that you can pick your strength depending how tired you are. Unfortunately had the cap off the top of a milk bottle in my coffee last week.

🫤 I have visited this cafe since it opened. The original owner really knew how to run a fantastic cafe and the number of patrons showed that. Now it is mediocre. It’s hard to find anything appealing on the menu; one young waitress was an absolute pleasure but another slightly older waitress I have enc...
