A great bar and restaurant. The food and hospitality is always the best. Plenty of parking and there is also an outdoor dining area.

Today - lower star rating due to food From ordering to table still very slow & it was not very busy. Front of house staff very friendly & welcoming. Food today - vege pizza was unfortunately quite tasteless, cauliflower tempura was nice, could have been placed on paper towel as quite greasy. My husband enjoyed the raw fish. 9-months ago my review was Excellent food, quite busy so food to table from ordering did take quite awhile today

Dinner options are fantastic, generous portions, drinks innovative, very attentive staff. The only issue is the kitchen can't handle big crowds in my opinion hence it's a long wait for the food to arrive. The staff do let you know that it's a 30 min wait though. Suggestion: order the mains when ordering the starters

Great spot. Good menu. Finally have everything sorted I. Terms of their service. Chicken burger was good, but please stop filling the Heinz Ketchup bottles with whatever you call that red goo. It’s not good.

We used to go to this place a bit as it has good staff, range if drinks and a nice relaxed atmosphere. However, the food as really gone down hill. The chicken was basically an out of the box crumbed chicken with a slice of ham and cheese on top. Definitely not worth the price. The chef really needs to take ownership of this and sort out the menu. If it changes we will be back, otherwise just for drinks.

Nice open plan dining. They have table service. Stools and tables near the bar. Outside area with DJ on the weekend. The team are very friendly and service is great. The food is tasty and good servings, especially the Fries (best I’ve tasted). Beer and Wine are chilled. But best of all is the Deserts. They were delightful. Very tasty and great portions. Anton who works there is so friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back and good for work function.

Great vibes in Te Atatu. Outdoor area is really nice on a good day. Food is always fresh and full of flavour. Highly recommend the raw coconut fish it’s a highlight. Also very pet friendly in the outdoor area. Will definitely be back.

Service was great. I had the fish & chips. One of the best restaurant fish & chips I've had. Fish was cooked perfectly and the salad was delicious! The chips were average but I was so surprised about the rest of the dish. Thanks! I'll be back.

I've had the pleasure of visiting this place on two occasions, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my experiences. The food platters and individually prepared dishes are exceptional, making it perfect for sharing with a group of friends or family. The drink selection is impressive, offering a wide array of flavorful options. However, if you're planning a romantic date, it's worth noting that this place tends to get quite crowded and noisy. That's because it's a popular spot for groups of people who are here to have a great time.

Went with my family for birthday dinner overall it was good besides food coming out slow but stuff was awesome and friendly, food was fab will differently be back.

Food was good except they forgot to bring out one of the items. Also ordered a drink which never arrived after asking a couple of times.

8 of us went tonight and we were all impressed. Great waiters could not do enough for us. Food very high standard large portions and very hot. Would go again. Thankyou

Didn’t eat, so can’t rate the food. Not much atmosphere, which was to be expected for a wet Sunday evening, but that was PERFECT for a date - because it meant we could have a conversation instead of shouting over the top of music. Great staff! Cannot stress that enough. Speaking to one of the staff as I was leaving, he said they could tell which couples were on first dates and that they kept an eye on them to make sure everyone seemed safe and didn’t need rescuing (and presumably they were watching for drinks getting spiked too). Great stuff!

Excellent, friendly service, fast delivery of food order and even though it was 'only ' fish and chips, it was a generous portion, lovely and fresh with a tasty salad. Highly recommended

great bar, friendly staff & awesome barman that knows over 200 cocktails and happy to make any of them, even though only 5 cocktails on menu... makes a mean Pina colada . Have enjoyed several evenings here with friends and 2 lunches as well. recommend the twice cooked pork belly, & buttermilk fried chicken .. and the pizzas are also great to share while drinking away in the last of the afternoon sun. $15 lunch menu is awesome value .. I had the fish and chips when I went for lunch.. delish Pic below is the buttermilk chicken and Russian Jack Pinot Noir

This place is amazing everytime. They catered to our big group and even went above and beyond! The staff are amazing and kind. The kai tastes so good and very affordable. Would highly recommend!

Not going to lie. Only went here as sugar grill was full. Nonetheless was a really nice experience. Food was super and brought out really quick. Staff are very friendly too. I don't know if I'm just old now that I'm passed the tender age of thirty, but the gangster rap music at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon was a little loud and didn't fit right.

We organised our daughters 21st birthday dinner on the 10th of June for 18 guests and we were so happy with food, friendly Manager and the staff that made us feel comfortable and provided us a superb service. We had special vegan meal done for our daughter which was not in the menu but the manager Mathew went out of his way to make a special vegan meal for the birthday gal, was commendable and sufficient. We live locally so it was convenient for us and to support our local businesses is our first priority. Thankyou to the Manager and his awesome staff for making our event an awesome one.🥰😊🙏🙏🙏🙏

Had my 21st here and would absolutely recommend have your next function here. The extended food menu available for functions was delicious and also very practical for socialising. The atmosphere was amazing on the night and the staff were incredible. Organisation of the function was super easy and flexible. Thank you for everything!

Good food, service was okay. Atmosphere was very average, music was ridiculously loud, to the point where we had to shout in each other's ears to be heard. Asked if they could turn it down a little only to be told it was due to a function. That should not come at the cost of the enjoyment to other patrons. Will probably not return, totally killed the vibe

Wasn’t sure what to expect but as soon as we saw how well trained the staff were I knew we were in for a good experience. The bar food was good the wine delicious and got to meet the manager ,Anton and share experiences of running good teams. He is really good and his experience running big venues and events shines through.. Didn’t know this place was here but I am so glad we did.. such an awesome venue for out and out fun. great staff. Good banter and a very very great ( and needed) night.. go check it out for yourselves…Make sure you get to meet Sydney because she really looked after us and is just simply the coolest lady. Thank you to the whole team

Absolutely recommend! We went the other night when they were short staffed and running around like crazy. That did not effect them at all! We had our food fast and fresh and tasty. Was absolutely excellent. Great staff, Great food.

A great local bar and eatery. The service is outstanding, good selection of standard and craft beers on tap. Kid friendly and great big screens for watching sports. Also a great outdoor area with heaters and blankets for those colder nights.

Very impressed with my first Mr.Illingsworth experience. Not only great food and a new favourite cocktail, but outstanding service from all staff. I believe it's the staff that make or break a place - These staff have definitely made the place. Will definitely be back.
