White cross website indicated the clinic was open today (with shorter hours) but upon arrival (at opening time), we were told that there are no doctors at all and the clinic was shut. It wasn’t an unforeseen situation as the practice manager ( who arrived after the scheduled opening time) told us the drs were relocated to the ascot clinic. So they knew ahead of time that this was happening. This should have been communicated ahead of time, updated this on the white cross website so we didn’t have to drag 2 young kids up in the freezing cold for nothing! This is not criticism towards the doctors at all, who have been very helpful when we’ve seen them in the past, but at management who have clearly fallen short.

Waited outside with a growing line of sick people for half an hour waiting for them to open at 8 AM as advertised. Nobody showed up. After taking pity on us standing out in the sun (no seats if you're dying), the nice nurse from Mercy Radiology came over and informed us, "They're closed today." What?? Why? "Staffing issues." Right, couldn't put a sign on the door to let people know? Complete lack of compassion for people who are ill (not me). White Cross: you aren't a cafe or some optional business but are supposed to provide what could be a life saving service to people. We understand if you can't open because of staffing issues but AT LEAST PUT A SIGN UP so people can go elsewhere. You demonstrated an absolute lack of compassion or care here.

They expect you to sit in your car for 3 hours+ with small children waiting to be seen. According to the website they weren't even busy but that turned out to be a load of rubbish. Gave up after waiting over 2 hours for our small child to be seen. You get seen quicker at the hospital so just go there.

Don't go if you have flu symptoms and don't have a car. I went to White Cross St Lukes yesterday with an Uber as I don't have a car, and they asked me to wait outside for an hour until the nurse could see me. I understand that it’s an emergency room and you have to wait long periods, but it's not right to make a sick person wait on a cold and rainy day outside the clinic. After the nurse saw me, she offered me a little place to stay downstairs in the carpark cold as hell until the doctor was free to see me. All of this was because I had “covid symptoms”, but I did a rat test before going to the clinic, and they didn't do a test to make sure it wasn't covid. Instead, they asked me to wait 3 hours in a cold shed.

Went today to have a check up for my partner, we both have covid so we were adviced to wait in our car. Honestly thats fine, but the thing thats not fine is that after waiting 4 hours for a call from the nurse and calling the receptionist twice while being told the nurse will call us soon, we gave up. Gave up and left. I can see similar reviews on here so they really need to sort their stuff out.

I hurt my knee and couldn't walk, straighten or bend so specifically asked for a scan to see what's wrong, the doctor was so lazy to even write me a referral, so she refused, she claimed that there's no need for it, apparently no scan is needed when your knee was swollen and can't walk!!! I told her my job is physical, not even a medical cert was written either, again, she's just lazy, and she knew very well that it's not possible to return to work in a week! I need my medical cert for ACC claim for loss of income! I asked about my recovery time, she didn't answer either, the dr just sent a nurse in to give me a pair of crutches so that I can leave the room. She's just trying to rush through all her patients and get us all out of her way. Probably one of the worst doctors I have ever seen in the last 10 years. It's shocking. Going to St Lukes White Cross is a complete waste of my time and money. Now that I have to see another doctor for a referral for a scan so that I can be treated properly and an ACC cert.

Received excellent service here yesterday. Particular shout out to Dr Lucien and Nurse Jenna (Gemma?). Both were professional and friendly - put me at ease as I received stitches in my forehead. Yes there was a wait but they work as hard as they can.

Nursing staff and doctor were lovely. WARNING!!! Wait times are atrocious!!! The reception staff leave A LOT to be desired. Bare minimum "customer service" is what they provided. The short haired, spectacled older Indian lady, and the dark long haired middle aged caucasian lady, (Joanne), were of little to no help. A simple smile goes a long way. If you see either of them at the counter, RUN!!! Go to New Lynn Whitecross. Seriously. Go to the lovely tall young Polynesian/Maori girl, she is someone who anyone in front of house service should look to for the real meaning of decent, professional human interaction.

Worst experience ever, and poor service. We went there today to see a doctor for my son(7years old) , he's coughing and sore throat. The reception told us to stay outside and we were standing outside for 3 hours . finally we saw a doctor, during the consultation time, the doctor removed his mask and blew his nose, after that he didn't wash his hand , and continued to check up on my son. I think the doctor needs to follow the hygiene rules.

We were in Auckland on holiday when our young child became unwell on Sunday morning. We were lucky to be staying close to the clinic, and we were seen first by a triage nurse and then a very empathetic and efficient GP. We waited for over 1½ hours to see the Dr which wasn't too bad considering the steady stream of patients coming in, and how bad waiting times are other places we have experienced. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the efficiency of the service and the overall layout of the clinic. Thanks team for seeing us, you are doing a fantastic job!

Dr Catherine Bolton is AMAZING. So kind and funny and made me feel super at ease, considering the diabolical medical emergency I was dealing with. Lovely staff, glad to know I can come here and be dealt with efficiently and thoroughly.

Thursday 20 June, 9 am, the clinic is closed, no notice on the door, nothing on their answering machine message and the Google site shows that they are open and "Live: Busier than usual", yeah right.

Brunette receptionist with bangs extremely rude and patronising. Laughed at a question and cut a patient off when speaking. Could learn some people skills especially working in healthcare!

Friendly receptionist, nurses (Jenna) and doctors (Dr C Bolton). Really appreciate their work, dedication and patience even when they are short of staff.

Horrible experience, doctors are terrible at their job. Had foreign object in eye doctor tried to remove without anaesthetic causing more damage and pain. Said he had removed the object however after the 3 days had passed it was worst than ever. Proceeded to book an appointment with Auckland eye clinic. They removed the now rusted steel from my eye and we’re shocked to hear how the treated me. Now I understand your terrible reviews.

Had to visit White Cross with our little one who had a case of Croup as our GP wasn’t available for another 36 hours and breathing was abnormal. Receptionist was welcoming, nurses managed the little one exceptionally well (awareness of how scary and foreign some new place can be with all the masks) and the doctor dispelled any myths and got baby the medicine she needed. All in and out in just over an hour at a busy and difficult time for any medical practice and no cost for children for any care or medicine. Thanks for your help and care White Cross team.

Be very careful, this clinic does not update it's opening hours on Google so you can use their online profile which tells you they are open yet they have decided to close for the day. I would recommend you phone ahead before going here.

The worst clinic in the world! Our baby is sick, they asked us to wait . We have been waiting for 2 hrs, then they said there are cases of emergency so we need to wait extra more than 1 hr. How stupid is it? My baby is sick and we have been waiting for 3 hrs for nothing. We ended up going home!
