Unfortunately
had
a
very
negative
experience
in
getting
a
pre-departure
COVID
test
/
fit
to
fly
certificate
for
international
travel.
Booked
the
test
appointment
about
3
weeks
in
advance,
sent
all
of
the
paperwork
required
at
time
of
booking,
was
informed
via
email
that
everything
had
been
well-received,
then
arrived
on
the
day
of
the
appointment
to
be
told
by
the
same
receptionist
that
she
couldn't
open
the
file
thus
requesting
a
hard
copy
(without
any
prior
notice).
After
resolving
this,
they
then
informed
me
that
I
would
have
to
take
my
test
sample
myself
to
the
testing
lab
in
order
to
get
the
result
on
time
for
my
flight.
Again,
this
was
not
communicated
to
me
in
advance,
and
I
was
lucky
enough
to
have
a
reliable
mode
of
transport
to
be
able
to
do
this.
The
nurse
then
advised
me
that
when
my
test
results
are
available,
I
would
get
an
automated
text
message
to
my
mobile
first
from
the
testing
lab,
then
I
would
need
to
call
the
medical
centre
to
ask
them
to
check
their
email
for
my
test
results,
to
proceed
with
making
the
fit
to
fly
certificate.
I
waited
over
24
hours
and
still
had
not
received
any
text
message.
With
less
than
12
hours
left
until
my
flight,
I
called
the
testing
lab
and
they
advised
that
the
test
result
in
fact
does
not
get
communicated
to
me
first,
but
directly
to
the
medical
centre
as
soon
as
it
is
ready.
So
I
called
the
medical
centre
to
follow
up
and
they
had
already
received
my
test
result
a
while
ago
(god
knows
how
long),
and
with
the
reminder
of
my
phone
call
they
arranged
to
make
my
fit
to
fly
certificate
and
allowed
me
to
pick
it
up
later
that
afternoon.
Having
to
travel
in
this
pandemic
is
stressful
enough
as
it
is,
and
having
paid
$245
to
the
medical
centre
for
this
service,
I
expected
better.
Especially
as
I
know
of
others
who
have
had
much
smoother
experiences
with
other
medical
centres...
