Terrible experience. My two-year-old got a cold and she coughed. I called the centre to make an appointment. The receptionist booked time with a doctor and asked us to go in the early morning later that week. We got there early in the morning. The receptionist asked why we see the doctor. I said my two-year-old kid coughed. The receptionist asked us to leave and waited for the doctor in the car. Later, the doctor called me stating he is not responsible for patients with cold. He can make an appointment with the doctor who can see us but no place available. I am wondering why the receptionist made an appointment for a doctor who cannot see us? Why do you ask us to come to your centre early in the morning? Why do you ask us to come and then ask us to leave and stay in the car? We only receive a phone call from the doctor. If a phone call can work, why do you ask us to come to your centre in a cold winter early morning?

Unable to get an appointment, they want to do a phone consult first, then an in-person appointment and charge me again. Was told by receptionist this wasn't necessary and would be called back to discuss after asking a doctor. Never got a call back so I called them and was told by reception that I couldn't get an appointment at all with my symptoms because of covid (even though I've had them for six months which is why I'm concerned). Not the first issue with Apollo. Earlier this year I saw them for minor surgery and was told I needed a referral to a specialist, again had to call back after a week because received no contact, no referral. Tried to leave a message to the CEO on their feedback form through the website which they encourage and which says you will get a response in 2 business days, well that was nearly a full month ago now. This is ridiculous, will be changing practices.

Bad service and they don’t really know your nationality so be careful with filling new patient form. The price is extremely expensive than others, same medical examination in city only around less than $200, other places in North Shore around $2-250 but in here cost you $420 for a luxury service that no one will let you know what you need to do next. You standing in labtest no one will look after you. worse hospital experience and service ever, not even worth 1 star Google review, very disappointing.

I ve been with Apollo for over 10 years, this clinic would suit patients with private insurance. I have full cover with Southern Cross and always have had good experience so far and really good doctors here. I have had so many medical conditions that require CT scan, Ultrasound, Mammogram, Operation, Specialist Referral etc…Hassle free, all organised and referred from GP to Best Specialists. Never had to pay anything upfront as it’s all organised by Insurance. Super easy to deal with Apollo as long as you have your own private medical insurance. Waiting time is quite long at Receptionst but very convenient and easy accessible.

Honestly I am so over this. I rung to see if I can change my COVID vaccine to my GP rather than West Auckland. I was told yes but a nurse will need to call me back - this is after I have answered the 3 questions already. I'm on my third attempt at calling (due to their phone queues - this is a normal sequence and not just COVID) and I'm trying to also work. I realise you are doing your job but a call back won't work as I am trying to work and also on back to back on calls. Why can't someone just take my call?? I always leave a message with this practice - no one answers - so stressed. No understanding of service. And yes I have raised the level of service with the practice and with no luck. Totally exasperated.

The service has improved over the years as I had a doctor dismiss my chronic fatigue arthritic pains I suffered with for 4-5 years after glandular fever (9 yrs ago) as me being a hypochondriac because I was 19 so I couldnt have had arthritic pain. But every other doctor has been lovely and actually helped since then.

When I last visited, I discovered that The Doctors Apollo have increased the GP costs once again - it is now over $70 for a 15 minute visit PLUS another $35 if your GP cannot complete the specialist referrals / scripts within this time slot (which is near impossible after talking through health concerns/symptoms). That is over $100 for a 15 minute visit, which makes going to the doctor to get concerns looked into even more daunting than it already is. I've been with this GP for over 20 years and absolutely love my GP however due to now being unable to afford a visit, will be changing to a local GP (under $40 per visit - still on the north shore).

First of all their wait time is 2-3 weeks, every time we call them all we get it 2-3 weeks wait time or take our little one to shore care which cost $60 for kids and $110 for adults. Doctors aren’t that qualified either they don’t do proper check. My partner was diagnosed with copd and reports were sent to Apollo in 2021 and doctors here didn’t do anything & This time she went and pointed out copd and some doctor managed to refer her to the hospital. It was very poorly managed, all i can say is that even though they are doctors. It is still a business to them. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Watch this Centre! 2/4/2023 Just before Covid Travel restrictions were lifted (which the Doctors would have known about), they rushed my friends appointment through so they could charge nearly $300 for her exemption to travel, when the restrictions were lifted the same afternoon. Blatant extortion!

My experience on the whole has always been good apart from the occassional wait which is to be expected in a Medical Centre from time to time. Today the Receptionist was a delight & my Doctor her usual bright, professional self. My interaction with the front staff when booking my appointment was also 10/10. Let's not forget what these people have been through over the last couple of years. I think they do an outstanding job under the circumstances.

Very expensive for a driving medical (I already had a certificate from optician) $140 for around 15 minutes. Actual licence cost $18.70. The licence brochure said the medical could be done by a nurse but not at Apollo, I guess so you can be charged more, pretty unfair.

Great doctors when they are available as you can't get anyone when you are actually sick. Also, when phoning in why is Chinese the default language and you have to select English as a second option?

I hardly leave a review or let alone a bad review about any business.. I have been a registered patient in Apollo for more than 7 years and I have transferred my self to a cheaper closer destination but for my kids, I kept it. The first several years ( between 2015-2019), I didn't have too much bothering issues in terms of getting appointment and the proper care. But afterwards they have changed their walk in policies and now I can never get any appointment on the same week or after. So when my toddler get sick she has to wait several weeks to be looked after and / or pay late visit to Shore Care and wait in there a couple hours if we lucky to see the doctor that day. Usually it might take to two days to finally reach to a doctor and get a resolution even in there. I have fished around to find a new GP but all of them nearby have no longer emergency lines so I feel I have no choice even I would transferred them.. I am so frustrated as I have 3 kids and the youngest carries bugs to whole household almost every week as she is in the daycare and I have to deal with this doctor problems almost every week these winter days.. If anyone knows a better GP with better services, please reply, I am desperate.

Been a patient here for 3 years and I’ve seen the service drastically decline. It’s impossible to get an appointment to see a doctor anything shorter than in a weeks time.

You will never be able to see a doctor on the day of or the day after or even the same week - minimum of a week wait. RIDICULOUS. If you are sick and need to see a doctor for antibiotics or common cold/cough, don't even bother. So so so frustrating!

Called front desk 3 mins before official end of day but no one picked up the call, maybe you should change business hour to 4:55pm?

Generally good service and convenient with various specialists, lab test and trg imaging in the same block. The prices are on the higher side and service can get quite bad at times but convenience and experienced doctors are a big plus

From our communications, I can see this clinic's attitudes, they care most about money, not patients. from the issues I told them, they didn't show any sign of care or attention. Then told me I was booked in for a double consulting due to didn't visit them for 2 years. Since I didn't visit them for 2 years, I am not sure what should I talk to the GP , for this double consulting time and double charge of $120. As for sure until to this stage, thanks God, I haven't got too much issues need to talk to GP. horrible service and attitudes. will change to another clinic for sure.

The receptionists here are generally quite friendly and welcoming. Even though it’s not necessarily always the case, there are a few girls who would go the extra mile for you when you need something sorted out and I really appreciate that. I’ve only mostly seen Dr Andrew Lott, who in my opinion is an exceptional GP. He’s thorough, knowledgeable, attentive and never makes you feel rushed. Although he’s usually booked out a few days ahead (which is very understandable) he’s very good with being on time.

Very poor experience. 1. Last time I had an appointment in clinic the doctor got my file mixed up with another patient and started reading me their medical information. I kept saying that wasn’t my medical history until she finally checked it properly and swapped them over. 2. Then recently I had a phone appointment, I was sent an invoice charging me for a 1min call where I was told I needed to have an in person appointment. Do yourself a favour and don’t go to this medical clinic.

Visited the hospital this Tuesday, and I met a nurse who spoke Mandarin. In her first sentence when she saw me, she said in Mandarin, "The test is not free and I  have to remind you" (no greeting and no checking my health situation at all!, even worse she did not say Hi to me) I was shocked and felt uncomfortable. After I explained my situation and what happened between me and the receptionist, she left to double-check the price. After a while, she was back and kept saying it was not free and suggesting I either pay or do another bacteria test. And she kept saying the receptionist doesn't know and they are not trained in these. I explained again the receptionist put me on hold and checked with another nurse. I don't understand Instead of blaming other coworker, why not give me a proper explanation and solution? Moreover, she made me feel I needed to leave. And then the reception manager came to me and promised that she would check the record and call me back. Unfortunately, til now no call or follow-up on this! I felt very embarrassed and unfair. First of all, it's not my fault either of the receptionist, we are aligned with the policy and she showed empathy, I don't understand why the nurse tried to blame the receptionist. Secondly, I was in your hospital to look for a support with respect not an insult. Why did the nurse talk about MONEY at first glance? Third, I don't know how long it will take to check the record and make a decision, but I feel people forgot. I would not recommend this hospital at all!

Two words - William Zeng. This young doctor is a talented and caring doctor, I am sorry to hear he is leaving. I have been a patient for many years at Apollo and have seen a decline in the services, but have had a couple of appts with Dr Zeng as my doctor is often not available, and his professionalism, throughness and concern for his patients is 5 stars. I also recieved the same level of care from Dr Shae Richardson. Both young doctors have been fantastic, but sadly sailed ship from Apollo.
