    Awesome customer service today from Maka at Manukau Specsavers! He quickly adjusted my 95 yr old Dad's new frames, without any appointment - and then amazingly managed to repair Dad's spare glasses which were missing one of the arms, in a very short time (while the store is very busy, we note, and short-staffed.) Thank you very much Maka and the whole hard-working team at Manukau Specsavers! Stay safe, kia kaha! Eardley D.

    My experience with the Morley Specsavers team was excellent. Klaus took time to diagnose the problem when doing my eye test and I felt he was spot on with his response and the new set of specs confirmed that. The customer service staff and sale staffs were very helpful with the choice of frames. The whole process from online booking to customer greeting, pre-testing, testing, frame and lenses selection, glasses fitting and after sales was working very well and it was a wonderful experience. The team was professional, friendly and well trained. I could not fault anything and would strongly recommend this store to anyone and everyone. Well done team!

    worst experience. there should be negative rating to -10. Paid op 17/5 no acknowledgment for one week. When I called on 25/5 response was, o! we only do account once a week and today it will be. Order for my prescription glasses was not done even after payment done. Received a text on 30/5 to call them back to book an appointment. called 3 times, left messages too. Nothing so far. In my opinion, taking someone's money, not actioning the order is like intention of stealing.

    Lovely team in the Specsavers Manukau. One of their team member- Pia, really listened to my problem and resolved my issues promptly. Will definitely visit this branch again as they have an experienced team and they are patient to their customers.

    Such a calm atmosphere. The girls seemed to carry on with their own individual duties and it reflects the reason why one with an eye problem loves to be there. If not attended immediately its because too many clients came/attended for the same reason, like mine.

    Awesome service, kind staff and very good optometrists. If you want peace of mind with your purchase knowing that you got the perfect fit for you and feeling that they care more about customer satisfaction than just a quick sale then I would definitely recommend Specsavers Manukau, you won't be disappointed. Just treat them as you'd like to be treated and they will take good care of you.

    These guys were so cool! I’ve never had to go in for glasses before and they made my experience very warming and informative! Like, I actually understood what they meant lol but yeah. I’d recommend these fullahs! Cheers Specsavers. See yous for my new pair of eyes next week 😂

    Whilst the staff are friendly, the waiting time is appalling despite having an appointment. This is the 2nd time visiting with an appointment and the wait time is phenomenal. Really no point in getting an appointment. Little value for customers time.

    Very helpful, I have purchased glasses and lenses from here for over twenty+ years any repairs or cleaning has been sorted whenever I have taken them in store. Thorough testing, affordable and great range of styles, excellent customer service and yearly sale bargains. Also how often do you ring up or go to a store and they remember your name that just doesn’t happen anymore. Thanks Noah! Always very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

    The team here are very helpful and friendly. Got two pairs for $369! What a bargain and they also take WINZ payment! Easy, straight forward process with selecting lens and frames wise - Super recommended.

    Feels like a bit of discrimination from this shop once you mention you are going to be paying with a payment card. I was with a friend using their payment card and the staff were very rude and limited for the options to choose from. Also they weren't allowed to do split payment for 2 pairs which is weird as this is the only shop I've been at that doesn't accept split payment for the payment card and even the work and income lady said we were able to do this but staff didn't allow.

    First time to Specsavers. Walked in on a hunch. But needing new glasses at the same time. Impressed with the service from the time i walked in till the time i left. All staff i dealt with were very professional and so helpful. Even the wait time to actually see the optometrist was short.....One happy camper for sure....

    This store is awesome and in particular a lovely lady Pia who has been helping to sort out the issues I've had with my glasses. I'm extremely satisfied with her service. She is very helpful and is always smiling. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did.

    This is the second time I have purchased glasses from spec savers and the first pair I purchased was from New Lynn and my second pair from Manukau Mall and I found both places to have staff that were friendly helpful and treated me with respect and I have the utmost respect from the staff at both stores would recommend them for all your glasses needs, Thankyou Spec Savers.These are the glasses I purchased along with the cases and cleaner.

    Staff here are very friendly and kind. They ensured we were taken care of every step of the eye exam process. My mother-inlaw was very happy with the glasses we collected 2 weeks after the eye exam. Highly recommend.

    I was walking around the mall and thought I’d pop into this store to get my glasses cleaned. I’ve always purchased glasses from here but haven’t had my glasses cleaned from spec savers before, I was a bit apprehensive asking because I knew spec-savers had this free service but I thought the people working there would turn their nose up at cleaning my glasses. The lady was so friendly & accommodating she politely accepted the glasses off me and in 5 mins came back with a smile and said “ all done I’ve also adjusted the screws”. Amazing service and that’s why my next lot of glasses will come from specsavers Manukau. Great team Merry Christmas!

    What a smart cheeky branch owner. I have a comprehensive insurance cover. Like for like remake insurance cover. My claim was disregarded paid $100 for antiglare what they gave me was non tinted and not sure if it is antigalre can't trust them altogether

    Amazing staff I know it was very busy and staff were short you can clearly see how fast they are working to get through everyone. I forgot the person's name but they managed to fix my glasses cause one of the arms came off and it was quick. Amazing service. I recommend Manukau Specsavers to anyone. Good Job and keep up the amazing work.

    Usually the staff is amazing as I had been a customer here for 8+ years. As we all know it’s tough times at the moment, the optometrist recommended I get both eye contacts & glasses but I explained I cannot get both at the moment which she understood. As I went to go pay the receptionist suggested the same thing, I said I won’t be able to pay for both as the total will be around $400+ but I can get the glasses in the next month. Surprisingly, her and her fellow coworker laughed in response as I stood there, I felt really embarrassed and ashamed. Please be nice to people and don’t make customers feel the way I did today. It wasn’t a nice feeling at all, not everyone is capable to purchase basic needs.

    Great customer service and made me feel a very valued customer. Rahul the optometrist was great with his explanations of the testing and results and Levi the trainee who helped me with choosing frames was incredibly helpful and helped me to feel confident in choosing frames to suit my face.

    I have always enjoyed my Specsaver experience. I came in about 2 months ago to have a bi annual check up. I picked up my glasses but noticed that the wording from afar was still blurry. I gave it a few weeks as I thought it was me, and I just needed to get used to them. It was still the same, so I had them reviewed. It was hassle free and I took the time, as did the opthmologist to do a second test. Stress free. Even gave a complimentary call to let me know they had arrived. The staff are lovely and personable, they don't make you feel like a hassle. Keep up the good work, see you in another few years 👍

    I was so glad to receive the service that I did, I have had bad experiences in the past with Specsavers and was weary about coming in for support with my specs. Anyway, when I came in to Manukau to get my specs adjusted the young Tongan girl in the front, Anna? She was so lovely & adjusted my glasses for me. She did a good job. Her customer service was so good that it encouraged me to book another eye appointment there. Thanks Anna.

    Have no issues with the staff always excellent service but the quality of the glasses are terrible my 4th pair and always have the same issue with the screw on the frames (where it holds the lense in) coming loose and lense falling out I have to keep tightening the screws, eventually the screw will come out completely. I've had my glasses less than a year and I make sure they are cased when not being used. Currently i use a piece of tin foil till i can get them fixed or a replacement pair. Quite disappointing. My family experience the exact same issue.

    Went in to have an eye exam unaware that I had to pay. The team were very understanding and helped me work out a way to make sure I could get this sorted, upon doing my eye exam they were very thorough in letting me know exactly what was going on with my eyesight and explained it so I would be able to understand what was going on. I felt very cared for and genuinely felt they did what they believed was best for me! Cheers guys 💜

    I have had an awesome experience, being a first timer it becomes an uneasy process to jump into wearing glasses I had great advice and support from Sam Borich she was kind and had such a friendly vibe she really hyped me up and helped me chose what was best for me. loved her assisting me so much, Definitely will go back to her for more.

    Ordered my contact lenses in December. Tried the trials. Happy with them. They were the air optic brand which is a market wide brand. Came to pick up my lenses and found out that they were the spec saver branded ones. Gave it a go anyways. Wore it for 2 days and got bad headaches. My eyes were also very uncomfortable. Then did some research. Called back and told them. Spec savers manukau mentioned that air optix manufacturers spec saver branded lens so it should fit and be all the same. Then I asked.. why not just give me my air optix one that I was happy with in the first place? They said caused their branded one was cheaper for customers as they buy it in bulk. My thoughts is - you can’t buy spec savers branded lens (easy vision) anywhere but them. They barely have any sales on their brand so for those that aren’t aware, you would have to buy it from them always. Where as the air optix ones are market wide which you can buy at multiple places. You’ll often find them On sale too! Way cheaper than the “spec saver” branded ones. These guys are recommending their own branded ones just so they can maximise their profit margins as it’s never on sale. You may get free delivery if you purchase over a certain amount. Long story short. It’s been 8 months and I still have not received the last part of my order. They’ve just been ordering me trials (air optix). I’ve spoken to Anna at spec savers manukau and requested that they sort out my remaining order even if it’s trials because thats just stupid having to constantly go in and out of their store for the last 8 months! Will definitely try a new optometrist now. Also what’s the point of booking appointments when you have to still wait for 30mins to an hour anyways? Ridiculous. Here’s hoping I get the remainder of my lenses.

    Was a loyal customer until one of my arm's from my glasses snapped off and i had taped it back together for temporary use, to drive to manukau spec savers to get it fixed or a frame replacement, did not receive the warranty even thou i paid extra for warranty and was told by the person that was serving me that i had warranty but the manager told me to purchase a new frame at full price which will take 3 weeks max to receive was very disappointed, i would not reccomend spec savers again , only good for taking your money . Staff service is great when you first purchase your first pair of glasses until than , they just keep trying to get you to pay for everything even thou they say you have warranty .

    I had an incredibly positive experience at Manukau Specsavers. The vast majority of staff were welcoming, friendly and polite. As someone who has never worn glasses I was completely new to this experience but my dedicated team made sure I felt comfortable and happy with my choices. Anna, Chee and Karuna made a dream team and the process was easy and stress free. Anna, who did my pre-test was extremely patient with me which I really appreciated. Chee was calming, cheerful and professional. Karuna was really passionate and knowledgable about everything she talked about and did so with a smile and had a great sense of humour. Overall this was a great choice of store and I will definitely go back, can't wait to see them again when I go to pick up my glasses B-)

    I had extremely bad experience dealing with Manukau Specsavers post placing an order with them. I was over charged so they called to say that I can get the refund at the time of picking up my order.initially they suggested the order would here in 2 weeks , there was a delay no -one cared to call to advise . When I chased up and after finally receiving the order when I went to pick the order and asked for the refund they said only the manager can process this refund however they were with a patient . I went away and came back they were still not available. Not everyone has the time to spend their day at the store . Still waiting on the manager to contact to get this resolved without wasting in further if my time.
