    Bought a Karcher k4 compact water blaster here which is fine. But disappointed the beat it by 15% wasn’t honoured when I provided proof of same make and model available for same day pickup at cheaper price from a competitor. All because the competitors website didn’t mention the model number even though Karcher New Zealand only sells the one model for the New Zealand market.

    A inevitable result to support nz local company. used to going to another warehouse, this is my first time to mitre10 cuz a friend told me "we should support New Zealand business", The result is I stood in the bathroom area with three or four other customers and waited for two hours until I have to give up things I picked up and go home. No one came to help us , when I go to ask for help, A staff pretended to called another staff who I didn't think even existed at all, saying that someone else would help me. After an hour, I found him again, he repeated the action and entered the lounge. Then I find another staff, same situation, The model I need is not on the shelf and seems like the whole warehouse only have one vanished staff know the types of taps. If he is busy no one can get showers and taps. I went home with no taps and showers, my wife asked me, "where have you been these three hours", should I tell her I went to mitre10?

    Asked two stores members to help us with some questions we had about lawn mowers. "Didnt know much about them" waited 20 mins for the person called to come and help us. Left after 20 mins and drove to Bunnings around the corner

    Its massive and fully stocked with cafe next to new Lynn mall , one street back , I brought just a bucket , however its lasted over a month now, so my point , it's a good bucket

    Staff members are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Prices are quite reasonable though not as cheap as Bunnings. The store is huge with plenty of items for your gardening & DIY projects. If you collect Air New Zealand Airpoints, then this shop will give you Airpoints. Parking spaces are plenty; and you're also able to get in and out from Clark Street. If this is not your local store, I would recommend you to find your local one as if you need to return any items, it'll be much more complicated if you return/exchange/refund it at the different store.

    Great Mitre 10. Went to Bunnings to get a Red Devil Silicone tool. 3 useless boys in the paint department. Bone idle chatting amongst themselves not in the least interested in assisting until asked twice. Went to Mitre 10 one man in paint department. Order filled. Happy customer. Bunnings. Never again. Mitre 10. Every time.

    been going here for years and years and spent alot of money here, always happy with the team, the lady that greets, Brett in the storage dept. ...bought an item and just want to talk to the manager. lady on the phone tried to put me through to customer service, they weren't answering. then I asked if I could speak to the manager or leave a message.. I tried before and we played phone tag. she said they don't do that. I asked if the manager speaks to customer..and got no answer but a laugh. I said I take that as a no... thanks goodbye. also went in the other day to buy a kitchen, the guy wasn't helpful and hard to understand...ended up going to Tony at Westgate. If you want to buy a large item, go to Westgate. you get before and after service there. its worth the drive.

    I find it fustrating that their website is slow, is not user friendly nor up to date. So a visit in store was needed to check, one of two things on the shelf - purchase made. Still prefer the Green Shed for service

    Bought an Evaporative Cooler on Saturday afternoon 23/12/2023 tried it for not even 24 hours but long enough to know it most certainly did not work for our bedroom. The staff we dealt with said that it would cool our bedroom and it didn’t do that even with cold water and ice! Went back the next day to see if we could swap for a fan (NOT A REFUND) and were told they couldn’t do it as we had tried it! No where and I mean no where in store does it say please choose wisely on this product as we don’t offer refunds or exchanges. And I want to know why instachill give you a month’s trial and if you don’t like the product you can send it back for a full refund! The product is exactly the same thing! Bad customer service! Not to mention we purchased a Goldair evaporative cooler a few years back nothing wrong with it and swapped it out for a fan with no hassle.

    The staff today were fantastic, I was searching for a Nouveau Multi-season heating & cooling tower. The staff were really helpful and friendly they helped find the one I'd found online and as I had my puppy with me it was even carried to the till for me. Talk about going the extra mile and providing excellent customer service. What a great experience.

    Excellent service. I went in trying to get some paint the same colour as I had in an old tin. In less than a minute I was being helped by the guy in that department. He was incredibly helpfu, politel and knew a lot. Even though they don't have the same brand he did his best to find a match. I wouldn't hesitate to continue going back and absolutely highly recommend this store and the gentleman who severed me. Note: I went to the unnamed competition 1st, where I has two staff in the department looked at me waiting at the counter with my tin and just walked away. After waiting for a long time them asking for help they were reluctant to give and just said don't have it. Lesson learned: Just go to m10! Thank You Mega 10!👍

    Sent a jobmate linetrimmer in for repair and within the warranty period but mitre10 sent an invoice for the repair. Now they are not even replying to their email. Disgusting service and not sticking to their warranty period. Off to bunnings I go

    Very poor service. Went in to buy material for a fence. 15% price beat False advertisement. Found same product at bunnings next door for cheaper. They didn’t honor there advertisement.

    Staff were very helpful, just that l could not find what l needed, l needed garden hose about 60 to 70 metres and also a brush with just 1 or 2 metres long handles. Overall this is a good store to shop

    I attempted to make a return from an online purchase but was told I couldn’t because it came from another store despite the website saying I could return to any store. The staff (particularly someone called Lyshka) were incredibly rude and unhelpful and gave me every excuse they could including something about the invoice not being correct — when I pressed what was missing on my invoice, they stated it was laid out differently. To top this awful experience off, a security guard approached me and asked me what was happening and then proceeded to tell me you can’t make returns if you purchased with Afterpay — which is completely untrue. After showing him the return policy on the Afterpay website, he then claimed it was something to do with fraud — not sure how that works. Mitre 10 may claim to have hassle free returns but like their completely false claims about a price match guarantee — they don’t and they’ll fight you for every penny. I won’t be shopping here again.

    An employee named Mere gave us excellent old fashioned customer focused service. She went out of her way to find a paddling pool, including asking a younger staff member to safely reach by ladder the box required. A pleasure to visit the store with someone like her to assist us. Ann

    Very big and complete range. They have expol styrofoam recycling collection point in the trades area, which is very good and ethical way to get rid of polystyrene instead of sending them to rubbish tip.

    Visited twice, each time paint section closed and no one to help. No indication of opening times, if you’re not going to open all your services then make that very clear rather than wasting peoples time

    Shockingly dreadful, awful and bad. Made the mistake of getting mitre10 to do our new kitchen. They stuffed up the sizes of the units and sinks, their installer damaged our floor trying to put the cupboards in, the benchtop installers cut holes all over our walls. The lift out bin handles broke in the first month, the extractor fan is rubbish and cant handle two pots at one, and the tap doesn't sit correctly because they messed up the distance to the windowsill. Dreadful.

    Awesome and friendly service. Robin at the power garden tool section was great. My initial phone call to the store was answered very quickly so good first impression. Ample car parking spaces. Was my first visit to this store as they have in stock what I was after. You can see the store from the Main road but took few turns to get into the car park. Would recommend a visit regardless. Very friendly staff and service. Love it.

    Came into the store to look at some Weber BBQ's. Was served by someone who seemed to bounce between customers, so I didn't feel like I was getting his full attention. Seems the model I wanted wasn't stocked by Mitre 10. I was happy to wait and buy from the store ($2500) but got told to go buy it from the Weber website. Seems hard to support a store when the staff send you elsewhere with money jingling in your pocket.

    The staff did not bother to serve my old father to complete the sale....making him wait for an hour with no apology, just so that he could serve another customer re his complaint....Staff like Robin need to learn some customer service first n foremost and learn how to prioritize tasks. The manager has no idea or maybe didn't want to know......expected my father to wait maybe another hour. Real pathetic customer service from an establishment like this.
