Delighted with a purchase of 6 single gratin dishes... at a great price. Japan Mart is always fine quality, though not the cheapest, so this really was a nice surprise. Great also for Japanese style food products which nowhere else ever has.

A great japanese store with wide range of asian items and food! One of the best mart in westfield, kewpie, mogu-mogu, japanese rice or noddles and so much more! All items will surely feed your curiousity and for sure, you'll leave the store with some thing you haven't had before! Give this store a visit, it will be worth it! 😊

Great selection of stuff but the white haired lady is terribly rude and arrogant. Definitely needs to learn so manners and respect. Go here weekly and this lady doesn't know what a smile, please or thank you is.

From groceries to Japanese food and liquor, to cosmetics, it's one of our local favourites! The staff are always friendly and helpful. They have members points system too and you get triple points every 3rd, 13th and 23rd of each month.

I love any Asian Market. My daughter introduced me to this place. She is learning the Japanese language and is partial to Japanese cuisine and this Mart has it all and signs in english on suggested recipes to try with different ingredients.... perfect for me and a perfect place to pack a Care package to send her for xmas

I had been after decent sake set and hadn't found anything I liked so I decided to try Japan Mart in Manukau as it seemed to be a pretty decent size from other reviews. It really is a big store compared to most others I've been to with a nice mix of foods and beverages on one side and Japanese homewares on the other. Highly recommend the Marukome miso with dashi if you are struggling to find decent Miso, and it's worth trying out the different craft beer and sake too if that's your thing, the range should give you good reasons to pop back a bunch of times. Oh and I did manage to pick up a Sake set I liked, there was maybe five different styles so not a massive range but I found what I was after. All in all it's the best Japanese store I've been to so far, worth braving Manukau mall for :)

So random and great! I loved it. A very complete selection of confectionaries, foods, and drinks. There's homewares and liquor here too. Cosmetics and stationary can be found here too. No electronics or books though. Definitely recommend if you're after almost anything Japanese.

Sells many imports over japan including not only foods and ingredients but also household equipment and basic necessities. Staff here are attentive and know what they are selling. I got a bottle of rare irohasu here, and really enjoyed it.

RUDE!!! Had one of the employess basically hovering over me and my partner & following us around the shop!!!! My partner went to pay for our items and that same chick came over to him TO MAKE SURE he paid 🤦🏽‍♀️ wont be returning!!

Very friendly staff, a littlle disappointed that they didn't have stock of the drink I wanted but hey what gives? Overall it deserves five stars
