Great service, nice food and reasonable price!

I enjoyed the service and the food was great, although when we parked out front and got out of the car to walk in a group of old men sitting outside the front of the store on the outdoor tables made me and my gay best friend very uncomfortable, they uttered some nasty words as we walked past. We ignored them and ordered, we mentioned to the server what had happened, she apologized which I thought was nice and that she shouldn't have to, and she just went outside to let them know not to do that. And all people from all walks of life are welcome at her business, They soon all stood up and left. I kinda felt bad for the men, but appreciated what she had done for us. Thank you for making your business LGBT friendly.

The staff are always friendly and accommodating of my request for a side of cream with my coffees! They also have the best selection of teas and the peach one is so rich and aromatic. Lovely place to sit and watch the traffic go by- it isn't as noisy as the other end of Howick's main street but still lively enough to not feel awkward of you're sitting alone!

Always been a great local place to go. Best coffee in Howick I reckon and they always do amazing eggs and breakfast. Service is always great. My family's fav place in Howick.

Great wee coffee and tea shop in Howick, opposite cemetary. You can buy a large variety of teas, including tea pots and tea cups. There is free tea tasting in the shop. The staff are friendly. Service was quick and the coffee was great. Clean and cosy. Some food for sale too.

I asked these guys if I could pay by bank transfer as I forgot my card at home and they’ve accommodated me:) quiche and fruit tart are moist and tasty:) thank you:)

It's hard to find somewhere in Howick open after 3 pm on Sunday, so give Coffee and Tea Lovers a try for coffee on Sunday. The slices are nice, and service was friendly. The decor is a little dated and displays have been the same for years.

Ok but slow service for breakfast when the shop wasn't even busy.

Lovely quiet place. Toasted sammies had plenty of filling, however they were not crisp or paticularly well toasted...a bit soggy..so if you have one ask for well toasted. Coffee was perfect and hosts were lovely and friendly. We will be back as it is a lovely way to pass a couple of hours with friends and family

Healthy teas match with cristle clear glass tea pots. Nice and peaceful shop for catching up with friends.

Our favourite coffee and pie stop in the East. Some of the best choice of coffee around and they make the most delicious Cherry 🍒 Pie. It has become a weekend ritual for our family to come here and have Cherry 🥧!
