My wife and I took our 1-year-old boy to this clinic because he had a high fever. The wait was long but we didn’t mind it at all. When we saw the doctor, he was being so arrogant and looked so annoyed at our baby. It’s like he has never seen a crying baby before. The doctor then refused to see our baby because he was crying so much and his reason was he can’t hear his stethoscope. His name was Laurie, British accent, and was Caucasian. I’ve never heard such an excuse to refuse a patient. We had to wait another 30mins to see another doctor and the second doctor was amazing, he was Chinese and his name was Brian. He even said he can hear his stethoscope better if our baby was crying. So the complete opposite of the first doctor. Don’t listen to every doctor, especially this Laurie guy. If you are reading this Laurie, I hope your kid gets refused at a hospital too for crying too much. Have a great life mate.

The nurses and doctors have always been wonderful. Wait times can be long (depending on when you arrive) best time to go is 6am if you can. Have found the Doctors more detailed and better at checking my kids all over than normal GPs. Makes the annoyance of having to go to A+E worth it when an accident does happen because the team are so thorough, at least you know your family will get a decent check up.

Whilst my GP operates an urgent care facility, I prefer coming here for urgent care. I was seen within 30 minutes of my arrival this morning, and referred on very shortly after that. The doctor was great at explaining his assessment in layman’s terms and advising next steps. The Ophthalmologist at Greenlane who I was referred to was really impressed with the thoroughness of the referral and initial assessment, which made subsequent care much quicker. Overall a great experience.

Very smooth, professional and organized service. Everyone did a very good job from the screening at the entrance to triaging by the nurse which was careful thorough and kind to the doctor (Sam Wootton) who did a precise examination.

Doctors are good. However, reception lady is extremely unhelpful and useless and rude today, no patience to customers. Can you clinic offer some basic training to them so that they know how to communicate properly?

Waited 3 hours to see the doctor for medical advice yesterday as my son had a temperature and chesty cough. They had only 2 doctors onsite and service was very slow. If the urgent care is busy, why you don’t have more doctors to speed up the process. It is very frustrating to wait with the sick child for 3 hours.

Horrible waiting time and no right indication of how long the wait will be. I have seen someone getting seen earlier only because her child was screaming with no reason (child was not a patient) so dont understand what standard of their priority/urgency means.

Fantastic service today from the team. Great Covid triage in a sheltered but outdoor area and then high attention to Health and Safety whilst being responsive. Didn’t wait long and very happy with the care given. Thank you

Came here before and had a good service but today on a weekend day I came at 11.30am and they said there's a wait of 2-3hours. So went home, which is 5mins away. Then they called at 4pm to come and wait in car park so that a GP sees my child with broken nose. Now it's 6pm and still haven't seen a GP. How long should be waiting before it's too long already??? So angry and def. not coming back...😠

Regretted visiting this clinic , had been waiting for 4.5 hours to see a doctor , still with no luck. Eventually had to leave as could no longer sit.

Have been waiting hours to see a doctor with no luck. Begining to feel like I might be celebrating Christmas here. Pricing is unreasonable too, they've increased 40% within the past few weeks.

I was advised by the pharmacist to go here. I didn't wait too long to be seen which was good. I found the doctors manner quite rude and uninterested. When you search on Google it states their fees are between $92- $115 however I was charged $165! To come out feeling unheard and be charged $100 more than my GP for it. Next time I will go to Apollo who charge $90.(found this out after). How can Shore Care justify their pricing it's nearly double other places. Would not go back here.

Terrible waiting time and indifferent reception staff. My kid got chemical burn in her eye, and they made us wait for an hour before a nurse gave her a rinse because "it is not life-threatening".

If you want to check ur baby, go after 5pm and it’ll be free. $55 dollars otherwise. But worth the money as doctor pete & Sharon are superstars!

I have had a great experience at the Shorecare Northcross today! Everyone was friendly and professional from the receptionist to the girl who did the x-ray for my knee. Thank you ladies for your help!

Average wait time for Urgent Care in NZ; quick referral to hospital for suspected concussion & CT scan once I got to the Doctor! Terrible parking lot though, they haven’t bothered to get the lines painted so all sorts park in the way of the ambulance bay and accessible parking, and already bad drivers park tragically with no guidelines to sort of park between, and too many people rat racing through the lot to avoid the traffic lights, so always look three times.

Was seen within 30 mins and out the door in 1 hour (mid morning on a Thursday). Friendly and professional staff. All in all a good experience

Hi had an amazing experience at shore care nortcross yesterday when I had to appear with covid and not feeling well at all. Amanda my nurse made me feel at ease with the total anxiety i had of feeling so sick. She made at ease and so emphatic showing it was not a problem even though I could have even Amanda covid, she was the best. And Scott that doctor was just as awesome so so nice and caring, so to let them know I am on the mend ❤

I hurtled my leg when mowing grass. The doctor here is real experienced. He find some metal stick still in my leg. He sent me to Northshore Hospital and took a surgery there. All the nurses here are so nice.

Had a great experience here today. Speedy service for an urgent care clinic, with very friendly and attentive staff! Actually glad I ended up here instead of my GP

I came in with my son a week or so ago & there was a nurse on (His name was Mark, older gentleman with I want to say a British accent but could be wrong). He was absolutely fabulous!! What a kind hearted, empathetic nurse! He interacted so well with Frankie (who may I add doesn’t like or warm to people) he made stuff for him from the wooden tongue sticks and overall made him laugh. He was so patient and attentive and given the times it’s really hard to find such amazing people that work in healthcare. So I just wanted to give this feedback as I don’t usually give reviews. Also the DR we saw was great too.. He was maybe American possibly (could be wrong again) but so patient and informative on the situation - thank you!!

Great visit with this clinic yesterday. I was seen within half an hour of arriving. Friendly reception staff and the doctor that attended to my broken toe was great. He explained the process thoroughly, was efficient and empathetic. Would definitely recommend.

came in to get a dog bite cleaned out and checked, waiting over 2h but doctor was nice throughout and did everything very well in my opinion, unfortunately wont be going back due to the absurd costs though

Such a disappointment.. Wife has taken our 3 year old here twice before and had good experiences, but today, after waiting 3.5 hours we just decided to leave. Waiting 3.5 hours for a toddler to see a doctor is just unacceptable. If they told ua the wait would be as long we could have gone to our gp and wait. Never going back.

Came in with my 2 years old daughter who was crying with pain & had to wait over 2 hours in the car having another 4 months old. Every time we asked for an update on our turn, they lied saying there’s just 1 more ahead of you! Shame on you for letting us wait in the car for so long with a toddler & a newborn. Horrible service! They need to re-evaluate themselves & be more considerate

Nurses and the doctor (Dr Walsh) we saw were fantastic with my 2 young children today. My oldest was very wary and nervous but they were amazing with her and made her feel comfortable. It was great they took their time with us despite being short staffed

The care provided by the team at shore care Northcross is the next level. I had a sharp instrument injury at work today and attended an appointment here. Beth and Rachel were great and helped me with all my concerns, listened to my situation and stood in my shoes when giving advice. Thanks for making a hard day smooth when I am injured and stressed.

😠 Terrible experience. My two-year-old got a cold and she coughed. I called the centre to make an appointment. The receptionist booked time with a doctor and asked us to go in the early morning later that week. We got there early in the morning. The receptionist asked why we see the doctor. I said my...
