I found Dr Ma incompetent as a GP. My grandmother had leg pain which severely affected her daily activities. Was seen by this doctor 3 times and was told that the pain in her legs was due to old age without actually examining her legs. On the fourth visit, after a hard-fought conversation was my Grandmother referred to the ED (at that time my grandma was writhing in pain and was basically crawling to get around). In the end she was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis which can be life threatening if left untreated. I found his behaviour hugely unacceptable and I question his integrity as a doctor. I wish other patients are aware of this and avoid this doctor.

All the doctors are in rush. They will not listen to you at all. I’ve seen 4 doctors there. There’s one better person who actually cares and understand why people come to see doctors. but she is also in a rush as well. She talks to fast and I find difficult to communicate with. People don’t go and see doctor when we don’t have any problems. There’s something going on and needing professional help that’s why people go and see doctors! They don’t have that in mind. It’s awful. I’m glad I finally changed my Clinic. My new GP listens and treats me like human and understands why I’m here. All care family medical is reaaaaallly horrible. Negative star. Will not recommend. After enrolling it’s cheap but you get nothing out of it. Waste of money. I rather pay more to actually be checked and treated by a doctor.

This morning I booked in to have a PCR test due to strong symptoms of COVID-19. I went there and they still did the RAT test despite clarifying that I need a PCR test. As I already received the test result within an hour of test done, I am sure they did a RAT test and upon my call they confirmed. They also told me that someone will call you soon. On their call one of the nurses from the clinic was trying to cover and say that the protocol is to only do the RAT tests. My question is that way was I not told before hand that only a RAT test will be done not a PCR test. WHY? Is this a joke! I travelled 25 km to do the same test I have been and can do it at home. Who is responsible for this and who will compensate for the time and resources wasted?

I hope people will read these reviews, the service is very rushed and it feels like an insult to pay just to see a doctor's face. I went for my newborn whose chest was moving strangely while he breathed, I was essentially ignored by Dr. Gita Patel who glanced at him and said it wasn't worth examining him, it turned out to be a hernia that needed emergency surgery. On another time I came for irregular hormones and stomach pain, it was inferred that I am just old (I'm 28)

Extremely rude and useless reception people. Would not admit their mess ups, and they will blame the patient instead. very very very difficult to deal with, avoid at all cost

Dr. Patel is great, and very decisive, i love her work, but the receptionists can be quite rude, cuts off the phone conversation and when you ring back does not apologize, and does it again!! Very unprofessional!!! Most of the time the phones are kept ringing and ringing without anyone picking it up, making it very difficult for patients to get an appointment, and they don’t even have a system where patients can book themselves, or check their blood results!!! I say, fire the receptionists, coz patients nowadays can make a booking online themselves!!!! Total waste of money!!!!!!!

They deserve 0 star. The young Chinese receptionist, and the new doctor sun. They treat patient like stupid joke, it is such an insult to go to them for help. Patients’ rights does not exist in this clinic. Can’t believe this kind of person is called a doctor, my dog can do much better healing than she does.

You wait for hours on the phone to book an appointment! And if you go in to book upfront their always fully booked! Useless clinic to be honest, all of the reception team should be fired! There should be an option to give them no stars!

Worst medical centre my family has been, administion is a mass, reception bad attitude, good doctors don't stay there. I highly recommend moving to other medical centres unless they have a management change.

Terrible service. Booked in an immunisation shot for our 2 year old 4 weeks ago. Booked for opening at 9 but he came out 15 minutes later. Young Nurse came out, mumbled the name and then barely said anything before going “I’ll have to check we have any” before storming out and coming back saying they don’t have any stock. Receptionists are no help and very rude. Terrible service.

I was scared before coming here because of all the reviews people had written, but decided to give it a try since this was the closest clinic. I had no idea it was so popular and busy, it quietly serves this community and the front desk is patient and friendly. Google reviews are not always right

Receptionist are so rude! I booked a appointment over the phone and they told me 5pm i went at 5pm then they said they closed and then the receptionist said the booking was at 12pm but i had even asked over the phone and they said 5pm. Then they said bring my son on Monday , my son is 6 years old and he’s sick! All the workers there are rude.

I went to ask for an appointment and advice, and they barely put attention on me despite there were 3 persons at the reception desk. Not any sign of empathy for a patient. It's probably not the best place to go if you need to take care of your health. Very rude reception staff.

If I could I'd give zero stars. the reception and doctors are rude and untimely. they also don't seem well researched. nothing is ever on time and when it is your turn you feel rushed.

Although they are cheaper than other GPs, the reception staff are very rude and don't know how to use the words please and thank you. It's not that difficult to be pleasant especially if you are working in a service industry. I hope it improves because it's rather embarrassing...for them.

It is very cheap comparing with others GP, receptionists are very busy and under lots of pressure. Doctors serve heaps a day as the centre is very busy because it is very cheap So DO NOT EXPECT A GREAT SERVICE. Pay more to get more. I was with them for 5 years, never had any problems but I can see the staff are not kind and help like the usual in NZ The doctor appointment is always rushed but good.

My parents registered in this popular clinic for long time. The receptionist is good just some time the phone call is very busy also there price is cheap. Especially the Dr Zhao is very experienced doctor and very patient and helpful for the elderly people. Thanks again

I booked my son’s covid vaccination here but was then apprehensive after reading the reviews. We went today and had a great experience. Nurse Sarah was, friendly, kind and efficient with my son and his sister.

Have been coming here ever since I was a kid and now I bring my family here as I’m reasonably satisfied with my experience and the service here. The experience you have can depend on multiple things like how busy the clinic is, the receptionist who serves you, the doctor or nurse you’re seeing. My recent visits here have been pleasant. There was a time where we weren’t sure whether we would be returning to Aus or staying in NZ (this was during covid lockdown 2021), yet they still enrolled my toddler into the clinic and helped get his immunisations up to date. Big thumbs up to Nurse Taria for her friendliness and professionalism. 👍👍We’ve had really positive experiences with her. Dr Simon is also kind and patient and makes you feel listened. He doesn’t rush you like some others I’ve experienced in the past. 😊 However, I must take note there is a younger Chinese receptionist who comes across as a bit impatient and condescending. But other than that I’m pretty happy to keep coming here for now 🙂

We went to this clinic unfortunately the receptionists are very unprofessional and rude with patients. The door is hardly to open you need a hard muscle to open it . They asked us to pay for a mask !!!! really why!!! While it is free in any medical center in Auckland. So sorry but I thought we will never back to this place.

My prescription was sent to bargain chemist instead of unichem. Unfortunately the bargain chemist is closed. So I called in to request transfer and send my proscription to chemist warehouse. I don't have problem with the doctor,is not his fault. The problem is the reception, the lady don't explain properly. If I need to wait for almost 1hour while I'm not feeling well.

I've been seeing Gita and her team since I was born, so for over 30 years they must have been doing something right. It's a very busy clinic, but would still very highly rate them.

Absolutely pathetic service at reception with the attitude and etiquette. Asked me to go to emergency care for a repeat prescription as they were supposedly booked out for the week.
