Collected a script for a friend on Friday and could not believe the rudeness level of the receptionist (long hair if you care to talk to your staff about their manners). No acknowledgement when I walked in the door, practically threw it at me, then completely ignored me. Just as well I am NOT a patient of this medical practice, because if a friend did me a favour by collecting a script from my practice, and the front staff treated them this way, I would be moving to a different medical center. Might I suggest the receptionist look for another vocation, because if she treats everybody that way then clearly she is in the wrong job. And shame on management for accepting that level of service from your staff. 5 stars for rudeness

Agree with Joy S who posted about the rudeness of staff, I have been a patient of this so called practice since I was 2, I had problems with these people in the last few years, nurses refusing to fill prescriptions even though I told them I was out. The short haired south african receptionist harassing me with emails and phone calls about an outstanding account and not even mentioning to me whether or not I can pay it back weekly just asking for the full amount immediately! Then when I make a complaint Rick Barber the doctor who supposedly runs the place tells me not to come back because I have been "Rude and offensive" to staff. Another person I know states they have lost personal records too. Dont waste your time here because they are a mess and care only about the money they make, what a disgusting way to treat people who have been clients for over 30 years!

If I could give this place zero I would.All but one of the doctors I tried were bad. Either nasty and/or ignorant and arrogant.I am reporting one of them for negligence for something major. The only thing good about this practice is the attractive office but that is not important is it. Good doctors and a caring practice are.

Outstanding medical centre. Me and my family have been looked after for many years by Dr Veronica Spencer. She along side her professional team make for North shores best medical centre hands down, hands on and hands in the air like they really do care 😊 Keep up the great work 😍😍😍

Transfered my file to Browns Bay and now I have a second profile, without my correct allergies. Even though I had my first vaccine shot there is shows as elsewhere and my other detail is wrong.

Had my vaccine shot at BBM and what a pleasant experience. No queues , on time , only three people in the reception area, helpful and professional. kudos to our health professionals during challenging times

It seems to be very difficult to find a good GP these days so I feel very lucky to be a patient here. All the staff are wonderful and Dr Trudy Warin is amazing, always going above and beyond for her patients.

Both my children are patients of Rick Barber and we have always received great service from him. Friendly, caring and helpful - can’t fault him! We have moved from Albany to Hobsonville and had decided to keep our kids enrolled at BBMC.

I went to my local practice for a sore knee today. Dr Michael Hoogerbrug is as patient and professional as usual. All the other doctors I've seen in the past are all friendly and caring. Thank you guys for all the hard work and your support to the community!

Absolutely shocking service, all staff are rude no one cares to help for covid testing, they are all to scared to come close to you when you go looking for help and then they just leave you in the parking lot… really you have sick people looking for help and that’s how you treat them. i don’t even want to give 1 start they deserve 0 stars

The best Medical Centre. Doctor Rick Barber the best and all of the doctors and nurses. They always find the way to see my 1 year old daughter when they are fully booked. Wonderful people and very professional.
