to
share
my
experience
for
those
considering
a
Vasectomy.
I
visited
the
clinic
on
the
3rd
of
July.
Firstly
i
found
that
when
booking
in
a
time
and
date,
the
staff
were
very
helpful
and
gave
me
options
of
dates
where
i
could
potentially
be
put
on
a
waiting
list.
This
was
very
helpful
as
they
were
booked
out
up
to
4-6
weeks
months
in
advance.
I
received
a
consultation
with
the
nurse
on
the
phone
who
told
me
what
to
expect
with
the
operation
and
healing
process
and
an
email
with
a
interview
of
the
docs
and
the
FAQS.
For
me
the
sooner
i
could
have
the
procedure
the
better.
One
thing
to
remember
/consider
is,
if
like
me,
your
partner
has
come
off
a
contraception
iud,
or
is
getting
off
the
pill
due
to
health
reasons,
condoms
are
going
to
be
compulsory
unless
you
are
wanting
to
potentially
chance
the
risk
of
falling
pregnant
again.
Therefore
as
my
wife
and
i
are
in
a
situation
where
we
are
content
and
our
family
is
now
complete
a
Snip
was
required
as
i'm
not
a
big
fan
of
the
little
to
nil
sensation
i
get
from
intercourse
with
a
condom.
Bear
in
mind
that
this
clinic
is
popular
due
to
the
great
service
so
there
will
be
a
waiting
list,
potentially
up
to
a
6
weeks
and
then
its
3
months
before
your
cleared
or
given
the
green
light
of
not
being
fertile....That's
a
looong
time
before
ill
be
able
to
enjoy
the
feeling
of
no
condom
again.
LOL
Anyway,
the
positive
is
that
i
had
the
procedure
and
will
say
that
it
was
simple,
and
once
the
local
kicked
in,
i
didn't
feel
a
thing.
I
wont
lie,
I
was
nervous,
the
smell
wasn't
too
pleasant
when
i
first
walked
in
the
room
and
i
guess
this
caught
me
a
little
by
surprise.
But
the
doctor
was
amazing,
before
i
new
it
we
were
discussing
what
i
did
for
a
job
and
i
was
calm
and
he
had
finished
and
told
me
i
could
get
my
pants
back
on
and
leave.
It
was
so
simple.
it
didn't
really
hurt
but
rather
the
squeezing
to
get
the
tubes
to
the
surface,
was
really
only
uncomfortable
part.
I
am
now
into
the
healing
stages,
i
iced
the
first
night
a
little
and
took
it
easy
but
other
than
that
i
haven't
had
much
pain,
a
little
hear
and
there
but
Nurofin
has
helped.
there
is
a
small
healing
scar
which
eventually
will
be
gone
and
after
3
days
i
feel
fine.
I
definitely
recommend
the
snip
clinic.
