I got a takeaway pizza and fettuccini. Probably the most spartan and tasteless pasta and pizza I've had from an Italian restaurant. There are much better Italian restaurants less than 5 minutes away. Don't recommend you try this one.

Small but humble restaurant. Warm environment. Tasty food. Pictures featured are mixed grill and penne creamy chicken and wild mushroom pasta. BYO available with no corkage fee. Generally well presented and tasty. Nice atmosphere. Small and cosy.

Beautiful Meal. All 4 of us had awesome meals. So impressed and nice to have a balance including veges. We will return . It was so memorable when we were just trying for a different meal . Loved it.😍😍😍😍

Only one other couple there (that should have told us something) then waited an hour for our meals and forgot we ordered wine and they got one meal wrong. The lamb shanks were tough and did not have much taste. The garlic bread was excellent. Wondered what it would be like if they were busy.

Food was delicious. I ordered the lamb shank. I am glad I ordered the smaller size because it was big. If I ordered the bigger size it would have been too much for me.

It is a pity that I can give only five stars! I am coming to Bella Bambina already for 5 years and there was never anything that I could fault. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, I always feel welcomed. The food is always tasty and the portions are sizeable. There is never an issue of ordering extra sides. I couldn't praise the place more. Definitely my place for comfort food. Mixed grill is recommended to everybody. Even for special events, I was able to organise appropriate meal. And price for value is great!

Firstly, the restaurant is very noisy. They don't have acoustic tiles on the ceiling, which would certainly help with the noise. The pizza garlic bread was definitely lacking garlic but the rest of the food was nice although the carrots were a little under cooked as when I put my fork into it it slid off the plate & onto the floor. One of the beers we ordered had black stuff in it, which they replaced for us. The staff were friendly, although one wasn't knowledgeable about the menu. Seating was so close together, it was hard to get in & out of the tables.

We had a meal here which simply put, was awful! There was no italian food on offer, no pasta, linguini, garlic prawns, risotto or anything tastefully resembling italian cuisine. The processed chicken, boiled veges and flowery Potatoes were disgusting! I've eaten better food prepared for the homeless. Yuk, yuk, yuk! I appreciate the owners response to my review however, it wasn't the size of the menu in question. It was the way the food was cooked. Plain boiled and lacking italian finnesse.

Arguably the pest pizza in Auckland. The dough is perfect. Crispy with a little chew. I'm yet to try but could imagine the rest of the menu is awesome! 5 stars 🌟

The steak was really tuff. The peppercorn sauce was like a packet gravey and the mushroom sauce was just the peppercorn sauce with mushrooms added . Disappointing

My wife and I love Bella Bambina and have been regulars for years. We feel like family and guests we take always enjoy the experience. Elena spoils us and caters to my change to eggless vegetarian diet and Sikh Religion.. I trust the food I eat is prepared individually for me. Others love the meat signature dishes like Macedonian Sausage Platter. Dine with two or dine with ten.. you'll love it and hey BYO Wine but try their wine!

Their food is delicious and tasty. They are very accommodating for allergies. It’s a cozy restaurant which I like. The host is always lovely. Highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusting, have always enjoyed there food and we get our delivery tonight and it's not up to its usual standard. Tasted stale and no flavour to it at all. Pretty much inedible. $100 down the drain no one would eat.

Ordered takeaway pizza and was left a bit underwhelmed due to size and toppings. The dine-in experience looks better so will have to give this another try at some point.

Great customer service(nice and friendly) and cosy environment. But.. I feel really sorry to say that the food was.. - Bolonese : Too salty (Couldn't even finish half) - Fettuccini with creamy sauce : Weird smell.. cant even explain. (Had three bite and left most of it) - Wine : Does anyone keep the red wine in the fridge..?

The dish I had was really great, and the portion was quite generous - but the staff seemed to not really care about the customers. Maybe this is a management issue, or perhaps a deeper reason for people to not enjoy working here. Either way, I felt a bit dismissed and not really treated with the level of care that I would expect from a dine-in Italian restaurant. I could reccomend much better places, but am happy to have still experienced this place so I know what to choose next time.

I really regret to choose this restaurant for a special day. The table is smallest table I have ever seen - I promise I have been to so many restaurants like this one. Two plates already made the table so crowded. Food is just fine but nothing special. I have one extra star to pizza pane only. Not happy with service at all. Ladies would rather stay at counter to chitchat but not see us waving hands. Very disappointing.

Food too salty. Young girl/waitress ok but am sure she'll improve with more experience We all need to start somewhere

Very nice food, really good value for money, atmosphere, very good customer service w a 😊. Different beverage options than the usual and some very nice home made goodies for sell! We loved our first experience there and will come back and recommend to friends and family!

Won’t be rushing back. Ordered takeaway pasta, was told 20 minutes, waited 40. Fettuccine was undercooked, had dry chicken and lacked flavour and the carbonara sauce had split which was pretty unpleasant to eat.

Amazing food. Friendly staff. Very happy with this place
