Being enjoyed by kids and adults equally, properly maintained having many equipments.

The playground is very close to Zoo car park and can be good place to hang out before or after Zoo visit. Had public toilet, picnic tables around playground for adults to seat and enjoy the black & white swan 🦢 & ducks that comes. The playground is mostly friendly for kids 5 year old or above. The playground equipment are definitely different than usual see in other council parks. Highly recommend for small to bigger family/group. They do have two small play equipment for toddlers too

Lovely place for kids of all traits. A Japanese Garden at the entrance offers a much needed meditative calmness before the free spirits run wild. If the acorn-themed climbing ropes and slides, or the swings and spins, aren't challenging enough for the fun-seekers, then chasing after birds of different types and sizes on the lush green lawn or scootering along the glistening lake won't fail to wear off the energetic youth. Ice creams from the nearby Cafe surely put the icing on the top for a wonderful outing like this. 😀

Personally I found this place very entertaining, very clean, excellent condition, with games for children of different ages.

Wonderful place for the kids to run around and equipment to play on. It could have done with more rubbish bins as people were leaving their rubbish post-lunch or post-snacks and perhaps a couple of drinking fountains (notwithstanding Covid-times) or taps to refill water bottles for the kiddies.

Great for all ages. Better quality equipment than most other playgrounds.

The playground has been upgraded so it's nice to have more variety. Toilets are very dated and needs replacement or at least the doors repaired and maintained

Kids enjoy this park alot, so much to do. Toilets, seatings, cool place to chill and walk around the pond. Theres also a food place where we always get ice cream and hot chips, it's connected to the zoo.

Very big park and very packed with families. Loved the vibe. Good for picnics. My Children enjoyed it. Plenty of places to sit and plenty of shade too.

Perfect place for family with kids to go, safe and fun. Able to buy ice cream and coffee.

It was amazing. We had lots of fun there. We played at there, we discovered some amazing pathways through woods.

Have redone the playground, and haven't they done well! My 8 and 10yo both loved the various playgrounds. However, the seated swing chair had a broken chain, and one of them got hurt. A water tap to drink would be good too. Otherwise pretty good fun

Traveled through multiple cities in the north island over a three week vacation and this was our least favorite playground. Bird poo everywhere with birds hassling you constantly. Had some nice things to play on, but there wasn't as much to do for little ones as we expected and it wasn't worth the drive to get there.

What an amazing tranquil place I think that we have the only place that has black swans I used to take my kids here when I was spend a lot of my teenage years it's just one of those peaceful places

It has been upgraded massively. In my opinion, it has the best playground.

Amazing new play park opened for kids !! It's for all 0- teens and is all new. It has a beautiful walkway.. It is all green park plus it has a beautiful lake where there are plenty of ducks and eels to see. The bonus I'd it's accessible for all being in a central location.. Overall it a must go place with kids.

Good awesome for the kids to run around but only if not afraid of heights lol have fun 😊
