As a local of 20years Bunnings has let me down time and time again. When I asked to get price match they take forever keep you standing there for at least 30minutes whilst they try everything to get out of doing it - yet have no excuse -so they end up having do it after a half hour wait . Go to mitre ten and they do it straight away and with a smile on their face . Customer service is extremely poor at this store , we get treated poorly because we look young I believe and that’s really quite sad. Went in the other day and they’re saw was broken yet not one worker knew how to use a hand saw (all men) should I add . So after a days digging of holes they made me do it to return the next day to be told they should have done that for me . Just useless service . Mitre ten is the best dont waste time visiting this store

Bunnings in Glenfield have been great and you can generally find what you're looking for whether it be paint, building supplies, plumbing, barbeques or plants. They seem to have a great range of stock and I've found the staff pretty helpful when trying to locate items. Great for storage boxes/plastic containers and I found them cheaper than The Warehouse, which I wasn't expecting. Good location off the motorway and lots of parking available so you shouldn't find that difficult. The aisles are a good size for pushing the store trolleys around and the plant centre is good for all your gardening needs. If you're looking for anything for your house, building your house or fencing, landscaping and gardening then it's a good place to start. They also have outdoor furniture, umbrellas, and barbeques to finish off the outside. Overall I find my experience there good and would recommend this large store to others. There seemed enough staff there to help you out with any advice or help finding products you're looking for. Recommend Bunnings, Glenfield. Thanks👍

Amazing customer service at Bunnings Glenfield! Popped in looking to purchase a lawnmower and weed eater and knew nothing about either of them! A young man by the name of Hamish was working in the area and was so super helpful, explaining all the features and answering all my questions! Very patient and informative, super happy with my purchase too!

Really disappointed. Went to Glenfield Bunnings 30/08/2023. Wanted to order some framing timber and i worked out beforehand exactly what I need and fully aware timber is sold in certain lengths and often stores with a cutting service charge you for cutting the stuff , no issues with that. I worked out that I would need a total of 7 cuts for the timber I need. Hoping it will be a quick and easy thing...no it wasn't Went to the trade counter , they sent straight to cutting section in the corner. No one there initially , then someone pointed me to one of the staff. I asked for help with the stuff and also said i can collect it the next day if needed. Was then pointed to the "leader" of the area. Gave him the paper with my requirements (and he was with 2 other staff, including the one that lead me there , so 4 people. Just looked at it and said nah they don't cut the timber .They just cut it to fit in a car and honestly was said with an attitude , so I replied and asked if i need to go somewhere else and they just shrugged and replied yeah. Some "leader" and great example for his staff. I did my homework before hand, just wanted them to cut as I don't own and donnt want to own a mitre saw. Just wanted 100% square cuts as I am building a basic partition as a one off project for home. Just felt embarrassed, humiliated and disrespected with the treatment. Really bad, offering a cutting service and they have a large section for it and just not caring. I left , went to Mitre 10 next door , slightly more expensive but friendly staff , quickly assisted and will certainly rather go there instead. I do not recommend going to Bunnings if you need any help.Go to Mitre10 if you need service

Thank you to the staff at Bunnings for being SO amazing and caring!!!. During cyclone Gabrielle my husband and kids got trapped coming out of Pack and Save. The Staff at Bunnings got everybody at a safe place, feed them and gave them clothes. They stayed there until it was safe to leave. My husband kand kids spent 4 hours there with others. They were so impressed by the kindness and generosity of managers and staff. We are truly thankfull and will be your customers forever. Thank you Bunnings!!!!

40 mins wasted ill never get back. I walked up and down the directed isles and spoke to customer service all looking for firewood. After waiting ages for an area expert to come help, he looked for two minutes shrugged his shoulders and said "i guess the website is wrong" despite the store showing 18 in stock. People make mistakes, but I don't appreciate folks wasting my time without even an apology.

Good selections and great prices, always cheaper than Mitre 10 for similar items. However the service is non existent. During peak hours such as weekends, it is impossible to find anyone to assist you. We were there midday today, barely seen any staff around on Western side of the store. ... Must have gone to lunch. So if you are an expert, know what you need to get and no advice needed, Bunnings would be the right place for you. But if you are a first timer, Mitre 10 is the one to go as they have experienced staff to give you useful info. A trade off between service and price when it comes to Bunnings. But with DIY Home renovations/improvements, you don't really want to get it wrong. This is the same for Constellation Store I went to just yesterday. Not to mention only one staff assisted checkout counters and rest are self assisted.(sumilar to the warehouse/Countdown etc)

It is good in general.. The only issue is a few teenagers working there without much training on how to treat customers with a smile.. I hope Bunnings put some efforts into this

Generally excellent experience shopping here for garden supplies in particular. Brian and Jason in the garden cente are exceptional. Friendly, well informed and very helpful.

I went to you the other day and it was a wonderful experience staff greeted us at the door and told us what direction to start heading in for what we were after Nice wide Isles good lighting wheelchair accessible and wheelchair parking is close to the entrance really good variety of products and pricing was good as well delivery can be made for large orders And they have online service as well overall a great experience

Massive store like a whole city block if you cant it here it aint anywhere nice staff heaps of specials loved it definitely worth the drive 5*++...

Excellent customer service for handling complaints! We recently made a purchase, which included 13 different items. Unfortunately, upon returning home, we discovered that one of the items was damaged. We hadn't checked the bill ourselves since a Bunnings staff member had completed it (not through self-checkout). To our surprise, when we visited the store to exchange the damaged item, we couldn't find it on our bill. The checkout operator handled our inquiry with professionalism and courtesy, which made the situation much less uncomfortable. It took about 10 minutes to resolve, as we never expected that the previous day's checkout operator had missed an item during billing. We want to express our appreciation to the checkout operator who helped us understand the error without making us uncomfortable, especially in front of a long queue of customers on Labour day. Well done!!!

Bunnings Glenfield has the most appalling customer service especially when you call on the phone. No one answers the phone. When you leave a message to be called back- NO Response. If you ask for directions on where things are the staff just point in a direction and it is usually wrong. Stock quantities in the computer are never what is on the shelf. There are one or two staff that go the extra mile but on a whole , customer service is very lacking.

Have to admit don’t visit that often, unless looking for something different, from business next door. Still no complaints

They should use the 100000 dollars they waste a year on people that scan your reciepts for no reason and give it to charity. Its annoying. An invasion of space quite honestly. And totally unecessary job thst achieves nothing.

Anna from the paint section has outstanding customer service skills. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about paint and other related products. She assisted me in selecting the right oil for my fence and patio. Anna is a valuable asset to your organization.

If there was a zero rating that’s what I’d be giving this Bunnings in Porana Rd, Glenfield. Worst customer service ever. Not only now but have experienced this in the past also but hoping it would improve, however, that would be asking a lot from this unhelpful inexperienced lot. If your getting stuff off the shelf, easy but when your asking for help or putting in a big order or delivery, honestly leave immediately. Putting in a big order and for delivery, all answers are no can’t do it or not possible for everything. Before you can finish your sentence, it’s no we can’t do anything. For delivery, our courier partner company is can’t do the job right now as they on leave but they not willing to help with other alternatives. When wanted to buy products but were unpacked from boxes, the staffs said they have to see their staff are able to pick the boxes up as it’s heavy and if they can’t pick up the boxes to get stuff out then you will have to come back. Seriously! Then my pencil thin 19yr boys comes along picks up the boxes, after this display of staff not wanting to bother do any job, we left and went to mitre 10. Bunnings don’t have many staff and they unhelpful, inexperienced and not willing to hear what your order is, before you can say anything is a no sorry can’t help you. If they don’t want to make a sale or sell things, just close your doors. Bunnings glenfield might be cheap place to get stuff but their customer service is atrocious and not to mention freight delivery or online deliveries. Customer communication and service is the worst.

Bunnings has done the hard yards with vinyl flooring but shoot themselves in the foot. Yes they have great range but if you want to inspect a sample you've come to the wrong place. 1) Their samples are small and displayed too high to see them up close 2) samples are in a flip book so it is difficult to see the lighting beyond the first page 3) they force you to buy half a meter x 3 meters as a sample, which is usually not in stock and takes about 30 minutes to get a motivated team member to work the machine and cut. 4) They remove item price tags if the item isn't in stock which is annoying because this loses the product name from the sample and often they reapply the stick to the wrong sample. Why not sell 0.5m2 samples for say $10 and use a sticker that says "out of stock", instead to removing the sticker and confusing everyone

Classic Bunnings price tag at extreme. Please just put it at $6, it is still cheap but less confusing.

Maori or Pacific lady who work around the DIY section definitely don't wanna work, then you better stay home rather than playing around ignoring customers who need assistance. I highly recommend everyone to ask her for help if you want to hear her yells "No!" across the roof.

Very disappointed with the visit on Monday. I understand after flooding, the store and staff are hard, so we went there to make some purchases to support the business. As some of staff already told us that the store will close at 6pm, because after flooding reason. Totally understandable and happy to leave early. However, when we are already to leave the store, a lady yelled to us rudely: “ do you know we are close?” We are shocked! So we left the store without any purchase. We always come to this store, and the staff are usually very friendly and helpful. But this time was very disappointed.

Seems like a really popular spot. Personally, I haven't had good experiences. The staff I dealt with weren't helpful and didn't seem to understand good customer service. I will give it another try in time and update my review. But for now I will stick to Mitre 10.

Helpfull staff. I was looking for some basic tools and was advised by an employee. Nice attitude. The store itself is something you would expect. Such a huge variety of things.

love it (with kid aswell) my favorite place they got mostly for in- out door things for house. gardening plus: play ground with coffee shop all of workers: two thumbs up!

Fantastic customer service. There were plenty of team members around who were happy to help. I also didn’t realise I had bought my click and collect order on sale, but I did, and got a great price too.

It's not the closest Bunnings for me, but I occasionally end up there for one reason or another & it is very good. They have the usual excellent selection of stuff & the car parks are decently wide to get into and out of (seriously, what is up with the car parks where you can barely fit your car, let alone get in or out of it?). Anyway, they have the things & a helpful staff, what more do you want?

Came for lighting gear. Shelves are barely stocked, this may be due to slow import however it is an absolute mess. Staff were really friendly however as always, just a shame the space isn't well looked after. Perhaps this is due to understaffing?

Fantastic service from the team at Bunnings Wairau. I was in to replace a toilet seat for the first time in my life and the team were very knowledgeable and transparent with the fact returning an opened toilet seat would be challenging for hygiene reasons so reminded me of that old adage, measure twice, cut once.

I spend way too much money here haha! The staff are fantastic, really friendly and helpful with a great level of product knowledge. They often have some good specials and multi-buy deals, but the range of products is great especially in the Garden Centre.

Incredible customer service at Bunnings. Always easy to do returns and to help find things, which makes it a joy to come more often than not given we are here most weekends. Today Michael in the timber section was very helpful with some cuts of ply, going above and beyond to help.
