Awesome Italian restaurant!! Pizza, spaghetti and the cheesecake are must-trys!!! The restaurant is very loud in a good way. Definitely make a reservation before you go. Parking space is usually full. Ye, that popular. Really like the manager and staffs there. Great place!

We went to la spiaggia for dinner with a reservation and enjoyed the food and restaurant atmosphere! We got everything to share so that we could try everything. The highlight of the night was the aged steak (which I was too busy savouring to remember taking a photo of..). The mussels were very tasty too! I liked the spaghetti alle vongole, the pasta was a little over al dente but the flavour was nice. The pizza was very tasty too.

Good food, good music, good vibe, I would say very good. Asked for parmesan cheese and happily, quickly brought me a nice supply. Many other love it too get reservation. And water view. 4 of us

I think the taste is good, but sorry I think is not suit me. Service is good, even that's almost fully booked but still can get a table for us very quick. Thank you.

Amazing Italian restaurant in North Shore! Our family went here for the first time today and we had vongolle and gamberoni pasta, funghi and monti pizza. They all tasted fantastic and I highly recommend their monti pizza - the truffle and prosciutto combination is a must! We had to order garlic bread so that we can dip them in the remaining white wine sauce of our pasta.

I have walked past this restaurant many times, assuming it is just one with great location. I realized I am totally wrong when I cannot find a car park on a Wednesday night. Cozy Italian vibe and nice staff. Pizza is a must order and desert is just fine

What a wonderful venue for my birthday, they were most accommodating with putting two tables together for our friends that we ran into at the restaurant and they even sang for my birthday. Got a free little ice cream too. Everything was superb. Our waitress, Angelina had been absolutely excellent in serving us.

We have been eating here since they opened almost a decade ago. Absolutely beautiful food. Authentic Italian dishes that in my opinion are unparalleled by any other Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. Maria and her staff are wonderful hosts and with the restuarant overlooking the beach, you couldn't ask for a more perfect location!

Great place! Food is well there's so many ways to describe it so ill keep it short damm good👍! It tastes like fresh home made Italian food 😋🤤🤤 been there twice and have been recommending this place to so many people. Staff are friendly and helpful beautiful decor and some view of murrys bay if you get the window seats.

Great for classic Italian flavours and generous portions. The spaghetti bolognese was super flavourful, and the wood fired pizza was great, however the stand out was actually the Nutella cheesecake. Sweet and rich without being overwhelming. The only downside is due to the popularity they are super busy which gives a pretty chaotic vibe, and makes you feel rushed. It’s also very noisy so it can be hard to hear your dining companions. Overall, good food but we’d probably just get it to takeaway next time and sit with a lovely red wine at home to enjoy.

Favourite Italian restaurant in Auckland!! Everything is amazing but especially recommend the pizzas and lasagna… their red sauce is so fresh with stong and delicious tomato flavours, always a family favourite<3 They are always so busy so make sure you book ahead.

THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF 🍕🍕🍕 I can wholeheartedly say... after visiting pizza places all around the world (literally), La Spiaggia is the home of the number one Pizza. Period. Truly, the best Margherita pizza, in Auckland... no, New Zealand! And don't even get me started on the Tiramisu absolutely mouth watering. Pair this with a scoop of Gelato and you'll sleep like a baby! Stef, Maria and their team are incredible also. If only I could eat here every night! Thanks guys for the perfect service, every time we visit, truly the best!

I cannot fault this place, it’s always a wonderful experience which is why we keep coming back!Maria (the lovely owner) booked us in last minute for a special occasion and made sure we were well looked after! I always get the Tortellini, it’s delicious and then we share a ferrero cheesecake which is INSANELY good. We just need more excuses to bring people here as it’s too good not to share with others!

Service was nice Vibe is good But come on.. We paid 17 bucks for Tiramisu which is the lady finger.... Plz at least make the Chocolate marquise.... By the way dipping alcohol got the lady finger was too strong

The manager is amazing and absolutely service minded. The young servers were so kind and attentive. The toilets were emasculate. The food was brilliant, perfect prawns, fresh bread and calamari. The gnocchi was pillows from heaven and can highly recommend. Will definitely go back.

Lovely place and authentic food! I ordered Ravioli. The stuffing was perfect, cooked al dente, and the sauce was freshly made and super authentic. I shared tuscany Pizza with my partner. Decent amount of toppings and cheese. It was a little bit salty for my taste buds, but it was fine. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. However, it was a bit loud, so you might find it hard to chat without raising your voice, lol Overall, 8.5/10 will dine again.

You do require a booking to be sure of a table and that is fair. The service and atmosphere are very good and the food is excellent. Starter and mains are great and the dessert might seem expensive but is a serious amount of high quality sugar treat and so actually good value. Good range of drinks at normal restaurant prices. Good number of car parks attached to the restaurant.

Beautiful food. Our first visit the other night and we'll definitely go back!! Generous meals (big enough that some can be shared) and they are absolutely delicious. My vegetarian pizza was sooo good. Good service too, compared with many Kiwi restaurants.

One of the best authentic Italian meals I’ve had in ages. Lovely calm restaurant, not noisy so very relaxing. The staff were very attentive and the food so delicious. The wine menu is well stocked with good wineries and reasonably priced. The wood fired pizza is fantastic and seafood fresh and tasty. Sadly we were so full after dinner we had no space left for dessert, so maybe we need to start with Tiramisu next time.

Great service and service attitude, but i can't say the same for the food. Maybe my taste is lighter, but almost all the dishes were overly salty. My companion and i order an pork belly bites for entrée and 2 mains: al fredo and minto (truffle based pizza). The Al Fredo was alright but it would be better paired with some red wine or baked bread, because it was quite salty. The entrée was interesting, pork belly that is fried but i think the marinate was too high on salt and it ruined the crunchy texture and juicy fats of the pork belly. We had to drinks lots of water to counteract the high sodium consumption. The pizza was quite good if you ignore the saltiness too. The truffle "sauce" was not noticeable in the pizza and the wafer cut of raw salted ham (i think it's a calf or leg cut) was an artistic touch but was also very salty. Overall, i would rate it as barely passable, only made up with the good service. I think its renown is mainly contributed by its location. Being situated in the heart of Murray Bay (a very small beach south of Browns bay), with a monopoly in that there are no real restaurants within a few kms. It also helps that it has a good sea view. It's just not my palate.
