    Experice with the staff is super bad. They are not helpful at all. They just ignored the question and went on talking to their colleagues with some other language. I have been to other harvey Norman stores where staffs offer to help us but this one is a bad experience.

    I don't like writing negative reviews but I feel this is an important point, especially with the downturn in the economy. When a customer asks about a "low value" product, rather than just show disinterest (twice) and point from your desk when you are not with anyone else...make an effort, even with your facial/body language. We asked staff about your bedroom furniture and they called out to a Consultant to help, on two occasions. For some reason, the Consultant didn't want our business. Because of the disinterest showed to us when looking in the bedroom department today, we spent much more than you may of assumed, Mr Bedroom Sales consultant, with an opposition company in the general area. This constituted of several large ticket items. So, I guess, what I am trying to say is that you should be a bit more peripheral in your approach to a potential sale. We love the store layout at Harvey Norman and product selection. This is meaningless if you display disrespect and make the customer feel unwelcome. Sorry, but you lost a significant sale today Harvey Norman Wairau Park

    Don't be fooled by their "discounting". We wanted to buy an air purifier and naturally shopped around. A competitor across the road whose names start with N and L had one for $299. Harvey Norman? 439 for the same unit! Lo and behold, they would do us a special price - $349. We went to leave to go back to the competitor and they dropped it again to $299, so no cheaper than the other place and far more if we weren't going to take our business elsewhere. We left anyway - they were happy to rip us off if they could get away with it.

    Went to HN to buy a sofa and a fridge freezer on 2 separate occasions. On both occasions I found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. It took me ages to make a final decision about which fridge to go for but the guy who was assisting was very patient. They were also able to arrange delivery for the next day. No pushy sales. Great service!

    10/10 would recommend because of the customer service that I received from Josh. He was super helpful and listened to my needs. He was very friendly and approachable. He wasn’t pushy with the sale and I was left feeling very happy with my purchase. Thanks so much Josh.

    Amazing customer service from the team at Harvey Norman (which is rare these days!) they made our shopping experience a breeze whilst looking to purchase appliances for our new home. As a bonus we saved some money going through them and our fridge was delivered the next working day. We will definitely be back

    Conan is a very responsible sales person. He seems to know everything in his department. We were struggling to choose the right appliance for some of our kitchen appliances, but was impressed by how Conan provide his unbiased recommendation. We decided to get all of our kitchen furniture from Harvey Norman after the first excellent experience in store.

    I popped in to get a new microwave today. I had a bit of trouble picking the right size l, but luckily the helpful assistant Virendar helped me to pick the right size. It fits perfectly, thank you!

    We made a deal on 30/07 for a couch for 2800 and 300 for protection all inclusive meaning delivery fees. The next day we went in and they dishonoured a deal because we had no written quote from them! We spoke to the manager n he simply said they cannot honour the deal! Guys next time you go to this store, DO NOT TRUST THEM! Have your quote written down if you are closing a deal! Pathetic service and lost a customer only for $150! It matters to us but i dont think this would have matter to so called business Harvery norman

    Amazing Customer Service. A huge thank you to Shane and Lucky from the computer department for their patience in explaining options to me. They went over and above to ensure they understood what I needed and then went on to suggest my options. No pressure just genuine good service. Then thank you to Grant in the appliance service department who also went above and beyond to fix a problem created by the Outlet store. It is very rare to find this level of customer service anywhere. Such a pleasant change.

    Had a really positive experience in the whiteware department. Gerry was very knowledgeable about all the fridges we were interested in and gave us some great advice. We haven't purchased yet but will definitely be going back to see Gerry when we make up our minds.

    We'd really like to thank Harry for dealing with the issues we had today. We received the wrong product and also the delivery guys just dropped the 5 pieces of heavy furnitures in our garage and refused to move them upstairs for us. We went to the store to talk about these issues and Harry was being so so helpful and dealt with the issues so professionally. He sent us people who could help us out to move the furnitures upstairs and return the wrong product. We really really appreciate all your help Harry. Thank you so much.

    "I had a horrible experience with my recent purchase of a smart fridge. The staff invoiced it incorrectly to a Gem visa card. No one was available to take responsibility after the sale. don't believe the salespeople; they seem to focus on selling the product and not on providing after-sales support

    Fantastic service from this store. Had a major calamity on the Friday before Christmas when my new oven failed to work. They had a technician out within 2 hours who diagnosed a major fault and then the store team swung into action finding me an alternative oven, having it delivered and fitted by the end of the day at a great price. Truly outstanding team who couldn’t be more helpful and went above and beyond. Thank you!!!

    My recent experience with this store left much to be desired, and I would not recommend it for electronic product purchases or Apple product service due to the following issues: Underwhelming After-Sale Service: The after-sale service fell short of expectations. The staff didn't appear overly concerned about my concerns. Unhelpful Attitude: The staff had a somewhat dismissive attitude that didn't make me feel valued as a customer. Unreasonable Delays: I had to wait for three business days to address a basic Wi-Fi issue, which seemed excessive and showed a lack of urgency. As my experience was less than satisfactory, I'd advise caution and recommend exploring other options that may offer better service and a more customer-focused approach.

    If you are after electronics, go see Shane. I went in to pick up photos and walked out with a phone. We don't normally like HN as the Sales people are too pushy, but Shane was different. He said enough without being over the top. He gave me all the info/facts and let me decide. He definitely went beyond and was so helpful. Thanks Shane

    I just had the best ever customer service at the Wairau Park Harvey Norman. Amrit went over and above to help me when I stupidly left a gift card at home, 4 hours away. She didn't have to do it and her manager didn't have to agree a solution either, but they did. I'm so impressed, grateful, and happy.

    Should be 0 stars. Sorry to say this, just got out from this HN "Flagship" store, and I feel bit embrassed. I felt customer executives who delt with me was "politely" rude and have a strong attitude. They don't even consider me as a potential buyer. I felt like, "we are not here for you. Just check and get out". I was even well dressed. Dont know what made them to think like that. It's very sad for me and may not come back. I believe this should be improved to exist in this modern world of online shopping.

    We recently walked into the home appliance department to ask if there were any specials on dishwashers. The helpfui salesman pointed out that the red ticketed items were on special. We eventually chose a Belling16 place model, with a red ticket. As we are low income pensioners, we decided not to pay extra for delivery, installation or removal of the old washer. (Family could help with this.) What a surprise, when totally by chance, 5 days after pickup, we saw our washer on Harvey Norman's Weekly Specials TV advert. for $200 less than we paid! We anxiously phoned, and eventually Harvey Norman changed our purchase price to match the special. This is amazing service, and we are so grateful. We continue to shop with you in the future. Thank you!

    Jan 2023 Visited this store to print some photos. Ended up visiting their furniture department while in the area. The shop was well presented and very clean. The staff were very pleasant to deal with and provided satisfactory answers when asked. We had been considering the purchase of a sun umbrella of which there was a vast selection on display. We were able to settle on one that we liked and were able to fit it in our vehicle to take home with us. In conclusion Harvey Norman Wairau is a great place to shop. Would recommend this store to everyone.

    I went in to purchase a capsule coffee machine which I did. Janelle was very helpful and knowledgeable about capsule machines. I was lucky enough to also have some time with the Nespresso rep where I got to sample coffee so I knew exactly what flavour capsule to purchase. He was such a great help. Very professional and also knowledgeable. My overall shopping experience here was a success.

    We were looking for some appliances and Robin spent a huge amount of time and helped us to differentiate the products and find the one that suits best for our purpose. Highly reccommend him if you are not sure what you are looking for.

    My mum and I visited Harvey Norman Wairau this evening with the intention of getting an exchange / refund on a faulty monitor we had bought not long earlier. However, we were immediately approached by Sam the Tech manager to assist us. He was able to show us why the problem may be occurring and some potential solutions. This also included reassurance us that our problem was understandably frustrating (not that we just did not understand the tech), which was lovely to hear being young women. Having paid 250 the night before for a 'tech specialist' just for no help, this was a great change of pace! For a free service in store it was great and I definitely recommend.

    I came to buy a camera bag and a sd card yesterday using the gift card that was included on my previous online purchase. I did not know that i was supposed to call their other branch for which the camera was shipped from. Their manager was super nice as she went out of her way to help. The cashier was also polite. Giving your store especially these 2 lovely ladies a 5 star might not be enough as you showed an example of a very good customer service. Very well done and thank you very much for your help. Appreciate it
