Gorgeous little beach with a beautiful view. The ablution facility is clean and well maintained. BBQ area is always being utilized by beach goers, and it has a festive vibe on the weekend. Lots of dogs playing in the water and having fun. Please keep your animal leashed at all times.

I came across this nice beach when I was going back to the city from Long bay and this little island has caught my attention. It's just a small beach but a good place to relax.

Beautiful beach, but unfortunately there are more dogs here than people (& dog poo.) Auckland is sadly lacking in dog parks.

It's a very nice area. Swimming pontoon for the older kids. Super safe beach for the little ones.

It's a park and a beach! Beautiful shade trees, playground, restrooms. A very gradual slope continues into the water and gentle waves make this a wonderful beach for children, other novice swimmers or paddle boarders. Free parking. Dogs must be leashed.

Great place to Kayak with the family, explored the Tor and went up the creek. Waters are still in this sheltered bay. Changing room and toilet facilities as well as a couple of free BBQs.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I wish there were high-quality pathways like this in the U.K. At the beginning and end, there are enjoyable scenic views taking you around an estuary on smooth concrete paths and wooden bridges. The middle section takes you onto main roads servicing residential housing estates and some on pathways o...

πŸ‘ Good spot for the kids to play and walk on the beach. Ice cream shops and hot chips are across the road. Found a few pieces of glass on the beach, be mindful with barefeet.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ The boat ramp at 164 brightside road Stanmore bay is really easy for launching your boat from the concrete ramp or from the beach, There is plenty of parking for you car and boat trailer too. The beach is also safe to swim with the family.
