Convenient nice beach with good parking. Not as busy as other popular beaches in the area which is a bonus. Playground for the kids, big lawn space and changing room/toilet. Shallow for quite a little way out so good for the kids and the adults can go a bit further but still keep an eye on the children.

The entry ticket price was not worth the event planned..charging for adult $19 and kids $10 was too high especially that you had to pay for other activities inside. Was ok but wont go again. A reasonable price should have been $10 for adults and kids for free.

3 stars because the parking spaces here are so limited its not worth the effort of you have lots of picnic gear to carry...the bathrooms are very clean and there is a place to rinse off...the beach is small yet there is a lovely playground for the kids...I'd avoid the location on a weekend/holiday where lots of people are expected yet, on a mid-week day it would be worth the effort.

I love coming to this beach to wind down after a long day. It's tucked away and there are no hectic crowds. What's great is they also have decent public toilets and expansive lawns for the kids to play on - or to relax with a picnic basket. Dogs are allowed on this beach, and I discovered a lovely cave here too!

Great place to run the dogs in winter, pretty sheltered, toilets if you need them, and a decent play ground for the kids.

The is a nice beach that can easily be over looked. Clean toilets and a good play ground for the kids It can be a little rocky in some areas when walking out in to the water for a swim. And the boat ramp is not a good as others in the area

It's a nice little beach with clear water and waves are not too bad on a sunny day. Perfect for a family and water is safe for children 1-10 years of age. Has a shower to rinse of after your swim or relax on the sand. Also has a toilet facility and a little field for the kids to burn energy as well as a nice little playground. Highly recommend to big and small families. There are parking spaces and curb side parking a little further up.

Lovely beach we have inflatable boat pretty easy to get in out the water. Just you gotta mind the rocks during high tide.

There is a large play ground and some tables. Good place to gather families and friends. Also nice place to take a walk with pets.

Would not recommend it if you don't like cosy, family oriented beach, with a kids' playground and facilities :)

👍👍 This is great mid way stop on the walk to Browns bay. The improvements to the pond are looking good and the new over the water walkway is going to only improve a great family friendly park. Feed the ducks, have a picnic let the kids play in the playground. Just a great place to be.

👍 It was our first time here and loved the little walking tracks. We didn't really plan well on where to go but found it relatively easy to navigate. Great for kids. Paths are fairly well constructed, although in winter might be slippery in places. At times you feel like you are in thick bush, far awa...
