    I would not recommend buying from BigSave. The customer service is terrible, although to be fair not for lack of trying of the employees (which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1). Employees are nice enough, but they are clearly overworked and do not have access to the information they need. We had to proactively reach out several times and complain to make sure our order was delivered as agreed when we made the purchase. The order arrived incomplete, and no one informed us upfront. It took them 3 days to understand what happened and offer a solution in 3 weeks. The quality of what did arrive, does not match the price we paid. Update: they pretend to be interested in bad reviews just for show. I reached out as requested an never heard back. Now one star.

    Thank you for a superb 'shopping-for-a-new-sofa' experience. Your target Rd Glenfield Team were super pleasant, fully knowledgeable and patient. I was kept in the loop through the entire making and delivery process and am thrilled with the result. Particular thanks to Sakif ( Store Manager ) and Josh ( delivery ).

    The service and co-operation we received from Guggan (sales staff) at Big Save was fabulous. We never felt pressured to hurry our decision and were helped with measurements, furnishings, and accessories. We were very happy with our purchase.

    We Searched for a leather lounge suite, Big Save Furniture Target Road were amazing, Hubbie popped into the store in his work clothes, was given excellent customer service that was honest. Received a quote for what we wanted. Ordered. Was given excellent updates on the progress every step of the way of the order from the store, text and email messages. Advised when the goods were in stock, advised of delivery date, advised of delivery timing. The delivery guys were absolutely fantastic - they received the info from the store - highly unusual from our experience. Making it a seamless and amazing experience for us. The delivery guys phoned before leaving, (essential as we have 6 dogs and no Vodafone coverage - so google maps takes them past our place and they could get lost. Delivery was on time. Can't fault the overall service every step of the process. Highly recommended. Hope this gets through to Big Save HQ so they can say thankyou to everyone involved, right through the entire process.     Bad service! Not recommend! Staff told us we can get refund within two weeks as long as we don’t want sofa ,but when we trying to apply that after purchasing,he said there are extra fees to refund! Fake

    Purchased sofa from Big Save Manukau, excellent service, especially two delivery guys who went above and beyond with delivery. Everything on time and delivered as per expected. Happy with purchase 🤗🤗

    Sells bean bags which are not fit for purpose. Definitely not recommended around children. Seams came apart on both bags and they hadn't been used that much. Sell on behalf of Comfort Group.

    Just purchased a new safo bed through Sai at the Wairau branch. was a great procees and he was very helpful. Understood what we needed and took the time to understand our home life to offer additional products. Great service.

    Purchased a beautiful big sofa lounge for my new house and Sai helped us a lot by giving good suggestions. Very efficient ,professional and helpful as we spent so much time in the store browsing everything. He was there to answer all the silly questions and gave proper guidance to maintain the sofa for long time. He also kept us updated with delivery status and helped with delivery too as the lounge was too huge. Very happy with the service and definitely recommended

    Big Save you are so lucky to have Wendy on your team. Her passion, product knowledge and placing the needs of the customer first is so refreshing. If you are wanting to be respected, listened to and be well informed, then you need to see Wendy. She listens, points you in the right direction, asks relevant questions to understand your requirements, shows you the relevant products, provides you with information that you need to know and gives you time and space to talk amongst yourselves and think. Prior to this, we visited other stores in the general area. When we spoke with them, they brushed us off as a "budget customer". Their loss as we ended up spending much more than they expected. Wendy has a natural, helpful approach that would appeal to all age groups with her experience, friendly and delightful manner. Thank you Wendy. You have made us feel excited and confident about our purchase

    I ordered some bar stools that were only meant to take 7 days to arrive... after waiting for about 2 weeks I questioned where they were and was told there had been a 'delay' and that they were on the truck being transported from the warehouse. This was a blatant lie as they never showed up. After another week and numerous phone calls, someone actually looked into this and found that the stools were ordered from a warehouse that had no stock. So, they then had to reorder the stools from a different warehouse that had them in stock. Another 2 weeks later and they finally arrive after a total of 5 weeks, meanwhile my partner and I have had to eat on the floor of our new apartment this whole time waiting for these stools to arrive. But, the issues didn't stop there. 2 out of the 3 stools we received had a manufacturing default as the pre drilled holes weren't aligned with the thread that the screws are meant to go into, making them impossible to put together. After wasting hours trying to assemble them, I decided to take them back into the store where they had to make the pre drilled holes bigger in order to get the screw in the thread. They finally managed to assemble them, however, after they were assembled I noticed several scratch marks on the legs of the stools. I am absolutely appalled that the service was so shocking and I can easily say I will never in my lifetime shop here again and will be strongly recommending others do the same.

    I have been looking for a bed for a while with a limited budget with not a lot of luck. Sai who looked after me at Big Save was so helpful and did everything possible to give me the best bed for the best deal. He was knowledgeable, caring and always in contact with me. I so recommend Big Save furniture and especially Sai if you want a great experience shopping for your furniture. Thank you Sai you were amazing 👏

    Absolutely awful experience since the get go. They have given me false promises on 5 different occasions and I’ve been sold a faulty couch which they are ‘promising’ to swap over for a replacement but their delivery team hasn’t shown up on 2 different occasions. Don’t recommend at all, go spend your money elsewhere. Don’t bother even sending your contact details to the email they reply to your review with. They won’t contact you back anyway.

    Avoid at all costs. BigSave lost my order, taking weeks of email and phone calls to actually get my delivery (without apology) and what arrived compared to the description is actually laughable. From the time spent, to the product itself - I would spend your money elsewhere and get quality that lasts and service that cares.

    We recently purchased some furniture for our holiday house. I was served by Wendy and I have to say she is one of the best sales people I have dealt with in years. She has excellent product knowledge and was extremely helpful in helping us select relevant pieces for various rooms to cater to our needs. We had a deadline and she went out of her way to ring around different branches to get the furniture delivered to Auckland with urgency. She communicated with me right the way through the entire process giving me updates all along the way. Even when there was a bit of a hick up on one of the couches coming from another branch she more than sorted it out for us! 😍Thanks Wendy you are an absolute superstar. If u want well priced furniture and true customer service go and see Wendy. 😊

    Really best place to purchase some bed or mattresses. Me and husband bought a matrass here and it's absolutely good and comfortable Matrass with affordable price. We been checking few places for buying a matrass, and Big Save is the best one. Also Mr. Simran Singh was really helpful with our purchase. We was bought wrong size of the matrass and Mr. Simran assist us with the replacement. He is really best staff there.. Cheers..

    Was promised a refund on the delivery cost of furniture that was just dropped off instead of taken into apartment and placed 3 weeks ago. Am still waiting after multiple e-mails and contact. Not impressed!!!

    We purchased a fairly expensive couch at around 5K from Big Save Glenfield in November 2021. By March 2022 a pully that extends a recliner had broken. Multiple e-mails and visits later (as well as 4 months of time) and we have still have not been supplied a replacement part, and now our last few emails to them have been ignored. I have seen Big Save's replies to other complaints to contact through their email address so they can resolve, but that is who we have been e-mailing! We also have an issue that the couch does not clip together properly which seems to be a construction or design issue. While I love the couch that we purchased I am very disappointed with the customer service and support provided, particularly not responding to e-mails. UPDATE - I followed the directions on the response to the review, putting GLENFIELD REVIEW in the email title and was contacted promptly by Annmarie from head office who was great. She efficiently got on top of the situation and rectified things so big thanks to her. My advice - talk to head office rather than the stores as they seem much better as resolving things.
