Beautiful mountain reserve. Stunning views from the top, fairly easy walk which takes approximately 15mins to reach the summit. Quiet reserve not many tourists frequent here. In my opinion Mount Hobson has the best overall views of everything Auckland has to offer. View of the harbour, rangitoto, one tree hill, Mt eden, panmure, CBD, Onehunga, Epsom and much more. Plenty of parking available on the street leading to the walkway. I've added pictures of the walkway & views from the top, including the stunning great trees which can be seen here.

Great views, not too developed, various tracks you can wander around. Usually not many people. You can walk up one side and down the other in about 30 min stopping to admire views on the way.

Great view from above, quite steep from Remuera road but not long. Some benches to enjoy view in a sunny day

A stroll through the leafy bush up the hillside to the top of Ohinerau to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city is everything. From sunrise over the Hauraki Gulf to sunset over the Waitakere Ranges you get spectacular 360 views of our beautiful city, Tamaki makaurau. Whether it's grey and moody or a bright azure blue sky sitting up here and looking at "Everything the light touches..." I feel like I'm looking at my kingdom.

Less crowded than the popular mounts, expansive views and benches to admire the gulf and surrounding areas. Great for dog walking, takes about 20 mins to reach the summit depending on fitness and stops.

One off the best views in AK and you can spot other volcanic cones from here to climb.

Some pretty good views of Auckland and its many volcanos. On the downside lots of the greenery on the walk looks a bit like a work in progress at the moment. I'm sure well worth coming back in a few years. Great to still have these green areas in such a heavily populated city.

👍👍 This well developed walkway features trails, paved pathways, raised wooden walkways and bridges, and a few stairways. It is great for walking and running, and is popular with locals for dog walking and exercise. It takes a total of about 40 to 45 minutes to walk completely around the basin, and ther...
