It's got a charm to it, good live music venue. Bar is separated from the music venue so it has a cool concert feeling. You can of course take your drink through with you. Sound is great!

Has been the best place around town for the last (nearly) 18 years. Try the mulled wine on a cold night. Top staff, great live music at affordable prices, awesome ambience - best bar and venue in the land! All single star reviews are antivaxx-loonies, hopefully that's obvious.

Cosy place on the stairwell in St. Kevins Arcade. Friendly staff and nice drinks. They also offer a fejoa cider, which is interesting.

Really unique little venue, friendly staff and affordable prices at the bar. Had a great evening seeing Scalper for his album release 🙌

Love this place so much! The staff are amazing, funny and Isaiah makes the best cocktails. The kind of place everyone and anyone can feel at home in.

This is exactly the kind of place I expected and wanted for the event we had. Hip space, a bit grungy but way cool.

Not actually a wine cellar, but has awesome live music and a cool vibe with a pinball machine

This is so so similar to my favourite favourite venue back home… in all aspects. I can’t believe I never came here until recently.

Highly recommended as a venue to play. Great backline and relaxed environment to play. Cheers to the crew, especially Rohan

Good experience. Not the cleanest of the places. Good enough for a stand-up show. Drinks do not have much variety but OK...

Cool little venue. Could use more seating for musical events.

Playing records at the Wine Cellar was a springboard in to fun & frivolities - a tribute to dive bars everywhere! All ably backed up by choice bar staff, and welcoming doormen.

This place is exactly what you imagine when someone says alternative music venue called the wine cellar. Went there to see the comedy show by tough tiger fist and love lamp. Was a really good night out.

👍 Home away from home in the heart of the city - the staff are SO lovely, the NZ cider is dry and tasty, the Guinness is good, and they have a pool table! The music is perfect. Sure it's a bit pokey but the people make up for it. I'm a big fan of the outdoor bench. Long live Father Ted's and don't for...
