Very rude staff, mediocre food, stingy owners, who almost impose you what to order: easily the worst place to eat Lebanese food in Brussels. I would recommend going to La Châtelaine du Liban or even East@West which is closeby: those are just two examples, I figure that anywhere would be better than Al Barmaki. As a response to the owner’s reply: Unfortunately, my review isn’t fake, I wish it was. Everyone obviously does not give you 5 stars, your average rating wouldn’t have dropped to almost 4 stars otherwise🤔 To give you the specificity you required: your bitter falafels upset my stomach - is this real enough for you? I actually went through the other reviews and you have responded to quite a lot other 1-star reviews. Maybe it’s time you start taking your customers’ feedback in account, think about it. I only recommended other Lebanese restaurants because I have been there and this is the very goal of these reviews - whether you recommend a place or not. And I DO NOT recommend yours.

in summary: real Lebanese cuisine, in the setting of the beautiful center of Brussels. LOCATION: spacious room, large tables, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great Attention to details! ;-) SERVICE: extraordinary kindness of the staff, availability and attention to the host FOOD: the menu formula for two people (at 62 euros in total) is the best. A whole selection of Lebanese food PET FRIENDLY

Food is good. But the way it all comes to table is not elegant. But the tall muscled waiter does not know the difference between being friendly and respecting client. We had arguments over few things and thats not something you want in a nice restaurant. Too tight and too dim for lebanese food

Its a nice addition to my lebenese cuisines, they are accommodating, freindly with fantastic food, i was there on a weekend night so it was super crowdy, but that doesn’t affect their food serving speed, chicken wings are to die for super yum. Absolutely recommended

Absolutely delicious Lebanese food. Good place for vegans. The cauliflower was my favourite. Try to avoid the tables next to the entrance door as it gets cold there.

Affordable meals in the city center. A wrap of shawarma costs only 5€ and a ball of falafel 1€. Good hummus. Nice table service and helpful staff. Love it.

Very nice Libanesse restaurant. Can be a bit price for the type of food. And oita bread can defenitelly be improved. Food was very good, the only dish that didn't felt like being up to standards was the falafel, which tasted bitter and was very airy

We had an excellent time in Al Barmaki. Although it was late and they were about to close, they gave accomodation and were very kind to us, both the young waiter and the lady who runs the place. We had the 33 euro menu per person and it was a feast of fresh, savoury, spicy, delicious assorted dishes. It is a nice, charming restaurant with an exotic oriental touch, but more than that, the food was remarkable. Thank you!

Such a great spot !! I celebrated my birthday at Al barmaki tonight and I couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant for the occasion 🙏🏻✨ The discovery menu was so delicious, best mezze in town. And the service was perfect ! Some of my friends couldn’t make it in time but the staff was kind enough to wait so long before taking our order and even let us stay past closing time to enjoy the birthday cake with warm tea ! Really thankful and grateful to this amazing restaurant for a very memorable birthday dinner. (Finally the decor is exquisite)

When you find yourself in some of the most touristy places in Brussels you sometimes stumble upon a gem that locals love. This is one of those places. Amazing food, great drinks, and the ambiance makes you feel like you're in a further place.

We discovered this restaurant by chance, and we're pleased there was place to sit outside. The food was absolutely amazing, we will definitely come back!

Awful treatment by one of the waitresses (owner?) obliging us to order more than what we wanted to eat. Very aggressive and rude. The location allows them to be filled regularly and they clearly forgot how to treat people. On top of this, food grossly overpriced for the quantity and quality you'll get.

Lovely ambience, delicious food, acceptable service. We ordered a tasting menu and it was more than ample for three people. Excellent flavors, well prepared and presented. We will return. Reservations advised.

The waiter was being rude. We ordered 5 dishes for 5 people where 3 were kids. The waiter wanted us to order more although the food we ordered was more than enough. We ended up cancelling the order and leaving.
