From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile that lasted until the very second we walked out. My group (a 13 year old, a 9 year old, and two adults in their 20’s) did The Dark Room, which was well organized and coherent. The details and puzzles were relevant and well put together. We escaped with 4 minutes left (with help from some very useful hints from our Game Master)! There were no penalties for using hints, which was a plus! All our questions were answered and we were left hungry for more! Can’t wait to come back and try the other rooms!

We had a large group of about 25 people, this was a team building experience for our group. The staff was amazing and fun. We had a great time and will be back again soon the next time we are through the area.

One of the better escape rooms I’ve done. Aaron was our host and did a great job leading us through the room without giving too much away. My partner and I did the Wizards Dungeon and made it out with 5 minutes to spare. The room was put together well and the puzzles made sense. We will definitely be back to try the other rooms. After having a wonderful experience in the dark room me and my friends decided to come back and try another one of their rooms! We were really excited and booked one of their latest rooms at 09:30 pm. After being 5 minutes late we were made aware the timer had already been started which we understood and were okay with. Despite having only 55 minutes we were still excited to play.Little did we know apparently the hostess really wanted to go home. She would not let us solve anything on our own,kept giving us clues without us asking despite us still having lots of time. On 3 occasions she actually entered the room and solved the clues for us,ruining the entire experience. Lastly,at the end when we still had 15 minutes left and one remaining clue to solve, she told us the answer even though we were trying to figure it own our own and were in the middle of solving it. Once the door opened,the hostess didn’t greet us at the door or asked us if we had any questions about the game. She also never offered to take pictures of us. Next time I would rather be offered to cancel the reservation if the hosts don’t have the time to give us the full experience. That night hostess always looked rushed and annoyed ,so we would definitely prefer not to play. P.S. My friend who booked a room got an email next day asking to leave a review. She decided to privately email them first and tell them about the horrible experience but never got an answer, that’s why I am writing this review. We’ve been to dozens of escape rooms and this by far was the worst experience we ever had

We had a good amount of fun at this escape room. Our game master Aaron was a really cool dude and worked hard to make sure we got our allotted hour to work on escaping. Out of all the escape rooms we've done over the years, Aaron was the first non-weird game master we've met. The reason I give this place 3 stars is because we paid $160 for a room that looked like it was put together within an hour or two. We did "The Dark Room", and without giving anything away, I will just say I could've probably put together this room, and I know nothing about escape rooms. My wife and I did another escape room a few months ago that cost $80 and it was insane. Each puzzle was super engaging and upon completion, the room would react in some way (a door would pop open, a noise from behind the wall, etc.). Unless the price comes down or the amount of time to solve a room increases, we won't be coming back here. But that's not because of Aaron! Aaron was awesome!

My Wife and I had our date day go even further when we decided to challenge ourselves with the Dark Room. Met Aaron as our Game Master (He is Amazing) and explained everything before we entered. Having never done an escape room before we were smart enough to get through some of it on our own but with a few nudges from Aaron we were able to understand more (in hindsight as newbies we understand much better now how these rooms work) and escaped just in the nick of time. For our first experience I can't say enough about how much fun we had and how Awesome it was. Definitely the Best First Experience and Won't Be our Last thanks to 5280, Aaron and the Dark Room!!!

Game was very good and definitely unique! Most of the puzzles made sense and our group of 5 got out with plenty of time to spare. The GM, Aaron, was great and provided just the right amount of assistance.

Had the best time for my wife and nephews birthdays! Aaron was a great host and made sure we had a memorable time. Would definitely recommend!

Aaron was a great game master, the way clues are provided is super helpful. There is a discard area which is awesome to keep focused on the task at hand. The Dark Room was fun, for only 32% success rate I thought it would be more difficult.

I'm sorry to put a bad review 😔 but the rooms are not well put together. We did their biggest room even paired with another group, the flow of the room was not good. I kid you nor we had to sit there in the room multiple times because you could only work one clue at a time. Not fun especially being forced to join another group. .... only good thing was the staff, they were amazing and great game masters.

Loved it! We went for a kid birthday escapade and all of the kids had an amazing time and raved about it afterwards. Aaron was our room host and he made the experience amazing and gave us the perfect amount of hints when we needed it. Thanks! We will definitely come back!

Took my kid and her friends here for her birthday. We had a great experience! The room was super cool and a lot of fun. Marty was awesome!! He was very helpful and made sure we had the best time. We will be going back to try the other themed rooms!

Super fun experience! I was definitely hesitant considering the unusual location (old style townhome), but it was great! They made great use of the space and lots of brain-wracking hints to figure out. Shout out to Aaron for being a solid game host. I’d definitely recommend it.

My 9 year old and I had a lot of fun. We did the weird heritage room and we didn’t finish in the hour but we made good progress. It was a great way to spend some quality time with the kiddo! The staff are very helpful and friendly!

Our boys had a great time for a birthday party there. The manager (Martin) did an awesome job of explaining everything and running the game. They want to do it again. Great challenge and super entertaining for all the kids.

First time going through an escape room and we had a great time! Corey was our host and was extremely helpful and nice when explaining the process and helping us out! Plan on coming again!

My brother and I tried out the Dark Room here and we really enjoyed ourselves. The time constraint was a little tight but with the help of Cory, our awesome game master, we managed to escape in time. The logic puzzles were great, nothing too intense or difficult but there is only a 35% success rate so that might have just been us. I would reccomend having at least one escape room under your belt so you have a gist of how things work. Cory was a great game master, only offered clues when we were truly stuck and only gave us enough info to help us make the link ourselves. All in all, I highly recommend visiting here, bringing your friends and putting yourself thru the challenge!

My boyfriend and I did the Dark room and Aaron was our game master. Highly recommended escape room experience. It’s really helpful when the game master only gives you hints and clues, based off of what you need and doesn’t give the entire puzzle away. He made it fun and we will definitely be back!

Did a birthday party at ROOM 5280 for a large group of 12 year olds. Firstly, our host was great! Aaron was very patient with our large party and put in extra effort to make sure it was a great bday experience. The room was tough but super fun; we didn't escape but we'll definitely go back!

Just a terrible experience, everything you don't want in an escape room. We played the 'Wizards Dungeon' game this time. The game had numerous broken and malfunctioning props that had clearly been in that state for some time, they had loose wires hanging all over the room, the place felt like a firetrap, and there were several logic leaps in the gameplay. The game master was far too talkative and consistently interrupted the game. I'm rating this place two stars because the other two games were decent when I played them several years ago (Dark Room and Weird Heritage) but given the state of this room I wouldn't be surprised if those had also declined severely since then. This is a place you can skip, there are far better options out there, but if you do play here, definitely don't do the Wizards Dungeon.

I’ve been a big fan of these escape rooms ever since we came across it. The staff has always been so kind and helpful when we come around. Especially the nice gentleman that worked Sunday night 9/11. He’s the best ! Just a side note, you guys should make a punch card for us who go in all the time 😩 but overall 100000/10000

My boyfriend and I did The Dark Room, and man it was so much fun! Our game master was phenomenal. We were super pumped to have been able to solve it in 38 minutes just between the two of us considering the recommended group size is typically larger. I unfortunately don't remember our game master's name, but she was a great help and super nice too. Will definitely come back, we want to do them all!!!

I've done several escape rooms prior to this one and our group LOVED the 5280 "Dark Room" experience! It was challenging, but doable. The team well prepared us! Loved the locker to keep our phones and keys! Really well done-we will be back!

Our family group of 8 worked our way out of the Heist room and it was terrific fun. We had 5 adults and 3 kids ages 7,9, and 10. They loved it and really helped out! We will be back for other challenges.

Honestly I’ve never been one for escape rooms but after my experience with the staff here I am HOOKED!! Lindsey was absolutely amazing and she eased my fears and anxiety’s. I was very worried about my solving skills, but she was so knowledgeable and informative. Through out the room and puzzles Katy was also a massive help and was so kind. She was the other staff member that really made me and my wife feel comfortable and created a fun time. Coming here is our new favorite date night. Big thank you to Lindsey and Katy!

I’ve been to this location twice because our game master, Katie was awesome and super friendly! My group did the Dark Room and the Weird Heritage. Both rooms were really fun! I want to come back for the other rooms 😁

Three of us went and did the Carnival escape room and had a blast! Staff was great, very friendly and easy to work with. The room was just as described, spooky but not scary, although I did jump a time or two haha. Will definitely be back to try their other rooms.

I took my girlfriend to do the Darkroom for a celebration. It was very fun! The puzzles were more simple than I was expecting because on the website I read it has something like a 30% success rate. It was otherwise very atmospheric and correctly described as spooky!

Had an awesome experience! Not too hard, not too easy. Lots of fun, and highly recommend for team building activity. Our Guide, Aaron, was the best! He let us direct out clues and made it so much fun. Definitely plan to go again!

We visited on March 3rd, 2022. We played the “Weird Heritage”. What an amazing experience and place! The business is in a beautiful historic house. So much fun! We had 4 people, it may have been easier with 6. Most clues were progressively harder the further into the game you went. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The game challenges you in multiple ways. Highly suggest this experience.

Loved our killer circus room. The puzzles were a lot of fun and we beat the room with a few minutes to spare. The man working the room was extremely nice. My boyfriend said it looked "sketchy" from the outside but after doing the escape room, we'd both certainly go again in the future whenever we are in town. Loved it.

Aaron did an awesome job! He absolutely killed it, at my times when we were struggling he'd ask if we wanted a hint. It never got to the point where he sounded like a broken record, unlike some other escape rooms. Overall, we had a blast and will be coming back for the other escape rooms that they offer! Weird Heritage was awesome! There were 7 of us and we made it out. Zach was tremendous. We've done several of these & really enjoyed this one. Very creative and challenging. Looking forward to coming back to do another one in the future. Thanks!

I have done many escape rooms and I will say this was one of the best experiences. Aaron(game master) prepared us well to know what to expect. He also watched the time and gave us pointers when we needed it without giving us the answers. He definitely enjoy and loves his job! I loved that there was more than one room and it was more than just locks. Will be back to do the dark room.

The Dark Room was awesome! Our group of 3 had so much fun! We were able to escape with about 3 minutes left and had a blast. Aaron was an excellent host. Everything was well thought out, appropriately difficult and interesting, and it was just an overall epic experience! We will definitely be back to attempt the other rooms.

Booked a last minute escape room at room 5280 & it was worth every penny! My friends & i had an absolute blast! Aaron was super interactive & made us all feel super welcomed & comfortable. Great place for an hour of fun! Great puzzles and Aaron was an awesome puzzle master. You could ask for as many clues as you want and he would also give you a range of vague to specific. Sometimes we got stuck but just needed a vague hint to get going. Will definitely be back for another room!

We did the room Weird Heritage, and Cory was our game master! What a fantastic experience!! We had a large group and was able to all be in the same room. They provided just enough hints/nudges to keep us going in the right direction, but not enough to ruin the fun of figuring it out ourselves! What a great time!!

Went here for my birthday w/ a bunch of friends, and the staff was extremely nice. They worked with us when we were having time issues, and were super nice and welcoming all the way through. Even offered to take a group photo at the end to remember my birthday!! :D Will be coming here again, awesome experience.

So much fun! My group and I did Weird Heritage. This was the first experience of an escape room for some of the people in our group and they said it was awesome! :) Our GM, Aaron, was fun and helpful in times of need. All in all, we had an amazing time!
