Just had the privilege of seeing Manchester Orchestra for the first time... what an amazing experience! The venue is super chill and laid back. Very intimate with a great view of the stage from any angle. SOUND IS ALSO AMAZING FOR THE VENUE IN THE MIDDLE OF DOWNTOWN AUSTIN TX.It is a standing outdoor venue. So be prepared. We visited Austin from Baltimore and Texas BBQ was high in our list. We get Stubb’s BBQ sauces in Maryland and were anticipating some great Texan food…but we were let down. We got the three meat platter with two sides. The brisket came out colder than room temperature and mostly of fat. The pork ribs were cold and dry, again mostly fat that you had to use a knife to cut off the bone. We’ve had freezer ribs baked in the oven that were juicer and better than this :( The burnt ends was more of a pulled beef and had decent flavor. We mixed most of it into the Mac n cheese to add more flavor to the plain cheese. The service was friendly - we just wish the food was warmer and of better quality.

A must visit if you are into BBQ. This place is an Austin landmark and had a deep history of BBQ and of live music. I have been many times and it never disappoints. Got the two meat plate with sliced brisket and smoked turkey. For sides got coleslaw and beans. The meats were cooked perfectly and the BBQ sauce complimented the flavors nicely. The beans were spicy just the way I like them. The coleslaw was very nice also. Service was excellent. Inside the place was rustic and clean. Very much enjoyed eating here!

It's really okay and better than Terry's Black👍. The pulled pork was a bit dry but the pork ribs were just right. Brisket was delicious and so were the sausages. I liked the house version better. The sides were pretty good but nothing particularly special.

Staff was super friendly and prompt. The BBQ tasted really good. Everything tasted better than it looked, not that it looked bad by any means. The meat was tender and juicy. I got the ribs and brisket. The coleslaw and mashed potatoes had great flavor. The Stubbs BBQ sauce was great and tasted better than store-bought. We all cleared our plates clean. I’d come back again.

I'm going to be honest. I came here with very low expectations. But I was pretty pleasantly surprised. I ordered the rib plate. The ribs were very meaty and tender and moist with good flavor. Way too heavy on the pepper but still good. Were overdone, as they pulled off the bone when I was trying to take a bite. The brisket was also very moist and tender with good flavor. The cornbread was pretty average for a BBQ joint. The tap list was very limited.

Visited for 311 concert. Super cool venue, great set up. Drink prices were reasonable. They also have liquid death water which is cool. Seems to have great views from all over the venue. Getting in the door was stress free.

Had a wonderful evening eating so much meat I started to sweat. We did the all you can eat BBQ plates for 3 of us. Got turkey, ribs, and brisket. Unreal! It was so delicious and so much food. I highly recommend trying this place. Also, it has a really cool stage in the basement that I imagine would be an awesome concert venue.

We actually came to Stubb's for the Alt-J concert and even though I have been here before, I did not know there was a restaurant upstairs. We ordered the $11 three item side platter. It was really good. We chose the fried okra, the fries and the cole slaw. The fries and the okra were hot and crispy. The coleslaw was more vinegar based and was not swimming in mayonnaise; this was a plus and was good enough for me. On the concert side the sound was really good. The security staff were unnecessarily unpleasant and threatening when I was just walking to the VIP section up the walkway.

The waitress was friendly and did a good job. Food tasted fine overall but wasn't hot enough. My wife and I shared the major platter (3 meats/2 sides). Plenty there to share The meat was all a little bland, but the BBQ sauce on the table helped. All-in-all a decent experience but didn't seem worth what we spent. We sprung for the cornbread, which was good, but kind of a small piece for $3. Also, avoid alcohol here. Maybe it's an Austin thing but $10 for a can of beer is outrageous.

Dropped in before ACL for lunch and was greatly surprised by the quality and taste of the brisket, pulled pork and pulled pork nachos! Stubb's is a brand that takes great pride in it's presentation and preparation of its meats. A little on the high end of cost but definitely worth it! You will not be disappointed in either the food or fast and friendly staff.

As a whole, eating here was a great choice. I ordered a plate with brisket, pork ribs, Mac n cheese, and sweet potato fries. The brisket definitely good but I think it would been better if I ate it while it was still warm but I got busy talking with everyone at the table so that one's on me. The ribs were amazing! Definitely my favorite part of the meal. As well as the sweet potato fries. And make sure to try the house bbq sauce. The restaurant itself was nice as well. It has a very rustic feeling to it. There's a stage downstairs for live music and also a venue outside. You're downtown so you get to have a view of the night life or just people walking around enjoying the atmosphere there and having a good time. Our waitress did a great job. She was very courteous and was always on top of things. I'd definitely go again

Stubb's was the epitome of "all talk and no show" it was an utter disappointment. If food tasted as good as it looks in my picture they would get 5 start ratings but it was a "catfished" type of situation lol. Stubb's was once a place where u could get quality BBQ now they seem to be more focused on using the name and reputation to utilize the music venue. I was genuinely excited to come and try the food which looked great but was disappointing at best. I ordered the 3 meat plate with brisket, ribs and pulled pork. I had mash potatoes and collard greens for sides. The meat was dry and poorly seasoned. They gave generous portion of brisket that was too dry to eat so I threw it away. The ribs were somewhat tender but poorly seasoned as well the pork was dry and had zero flavor. I tried to drown the food in sauce hoping to make it edible but wasn't able to save it. Despite the warning signs from the food I still decided to have dessert and that's where the wheels feel completely off...I ordered banana pudding and peach cobbler. The pudding which says hand whipped "per " the menu was instant pudding with 3 slices of banana and 3 wafers and whipped cream. They should be shamed for calling that banana pudding SMH. The peach cobbler was worse it was canned peaches with a hamburger bun on top. I'm certain it was heated up in a microwave to make it warm. I will not eat at Stubb's again because it feels like they don't care about what they are doing. They are counting on the name and reputation to sell the food instead of actually putting a little love and effort into what they are putting out.

Our first stop upon arriving in Austin was the institution. We've bought their BBQ sauce previously but it was great visiting. The service was exceptionally fast and we were quickly greater and brought to a table. Our drinks and food arrived very quickly. We shared the minor plate which was more than enough for the two of us for lunch. The serano cheese spinach was the highlight of our lunch which is why we only scored a 4. The pulled pork was good, but the brisket was over hyped. Love seeing all the concert posters on the walls.

There was not a wait when we got to the restaurant. We were seated quickly, and ordered our meals. Food was out pretty quick after ordering, and was very good. Service was also good. Had no problems getting refills, extra sides, or anything for that matter. Good place to come and eat. Will be back sometime soon!

First had Stubb’s at a longhorns game. Their Stubbs brisket nachos are amazing. The restaurant was very nice. We were sat quickly and had great service the whole time. The food was phenomenal. A lot of awesome history and a great place to watch some of your favorite artists perform on the stage in the back.

My favorite outdoor venue. Great sound. Show up early and get up front. Love it here. The food is good too. The brisket nachos are a solid move if you’re gonna sit down inside.

This is a great BBQ place! The bartender was great, with fast and friendly service. The food we ordered was out in no time and it was delicious! We had the Turkey Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries and Mac & Cheese. and the Brisket Sandwich with regular Fries and Mac & Cheese.

Went to the gospel brunch and the music was amazing. However the food fell kinda flat for me in flavor. I tried pretty much everything. The brisket I didn’t taste much flavor, nor on the chicken either. The smoked sausage was delish however. The fried fish and grits were ok, again not too much flavor. Pancakes were good and blueberry muffins. Sweet tea was absolutely delish and the star of the show for me.

I have used Stubbs Marinade and Sauce for years. It is among the best. The food on the other hand was pricy and lightly smoked. To get a small piece of corn bread was $3.00. I mean SMALL. A beer was $16.00. We had a one meat plate and a chopped brisket sandwich. It cost us $70.00. I cook a much better brisket than they do using their marinade and sauce. Will not return.

The BBQ here is really great - my most recent visit I had the one meat plate with brisket. The brisket had great flavor! The mac and cheese was also fantastic - so nice and cheesy! I have been to countless concerts over the years at this venue as well. The most recent show I saw was Eric Nam. The sound system and stage set up is great. There is plenty of room to stand to watch concerts. If you want a really good spot you like, opt for early entry when purchasing your tickets.

Stubb's Bar-B-Q is a Austin institution, and for good reason. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is fun and lively, and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a great barbecue experience in Austin, Stubb's is the place to go. You won't be disappointed!

Homey, southern bbq place that sets the mood very well. They did a very good job with the setting planning. For starter, i ordered the spicy pollitos, which are bacon wrapped chicken nuggets basically. I'm not a fan of bacon but the bacon complemented the chicken very well and was delicious. I also ordered the combo platter with beef brisket, pork spare ribs, and pulled pork. The ribs disappointed because I had higher expectations from a Texas bbq place but the pulled pork and brisket were tender and delicious, brisket being the most tender. Also Mac and cheese and beans sides with corn bread. Mac and cheese was good while the beans and corn bread were ok. Corn bread was a bit dry and tasteless. Server kept coming over to ask if everything was good and if needed anything. Overall an enjoyable experience.

I wanted to love this place, in fact I will say the food was decent, we got these little bacon wrapped chickens that were awesome, nachos lacked in flavor but that's OK they did the job! However the service and atmosphere was incredibly negative and intense. No proper customer service from our waitress.

Great service, quick in n out, and the food is great! Ribs are a little on the harder side but still pretty tender. Brisket is very smoky but the texture is not as juicy if you’re comparing it to Franklin. overall very pleasant and it’s a place you can eat and hangout while check out live music.

The venue seemed like it could be fun to see an artist perform, but the food was disappointing. With the pedigree/history it’s really surprising that it was pretty bland for bbq. Also it’s $12 for a beer! I won’t be going back for the food.

In Austin for a concert and stayed in the hotel within walking distance to Stubbs. Server was pleasant and efficient. The food came out quick and was wonderful. I had brisket, coleslaw and pinto beans. The brisket was juicy and tender with a mild flavor, but the sauce was on the mark! The pinto beans had tons of flavor. Would definitely go back again!
