My husband and I enjoyed a date night there - reservations were easy to make online and their directions were great for finding the spot. The drinks and space were cool, only downside was that we paid total of $40 for two cocktails (+ gratuity which was included). This would be more of a once in awhile spot, rather than a frequent hangout for us.

Small, quiet, private. Creativity and total craftsmanship! These cocktails are on another level! Book prior to a dinner and enjoy your stay!

We loved our experience here when we visited Austin. The booking process was easy on their website and I love the limited number of people allowed in. The drinks were great and they gave some great suggestions. I got one drink that was made at the table which was cool. My husband was able to get a non-alcoholic drink which he also liked. Much appreciated to have that option. The service was really friendly and knowledgeable.

One of my favorite speakeasy bars in Austin. This is the second time I have been here and they changed the menu a bit. The drinks are still carefully crafted and you can tell once you take the first sip. I ordered the Ciao Bella, which was a rum based drink that they had a bit of fire to it. They also can make the classics drinks and we also enjoyed a whiskey sour.

A reservation needs to be made to be able to enter this place. A code name is given to you in the reservation confirmation email. They are very strict with punctuality and with time in general. You're time is limited and you are constantly being reminded of when you need to leave. Its not a place where you can sit and enjoy yourself for long. It is a very small place with only 9 boths. Drinks are > $12 each. Overall ok experience. Bartenders take their role very seriously, great at preparing drinks. We got asked to go to the back patio when our time had lapsed. The patio was open and very cold, no heating available.

Very chic, cool, intimate speakeasy. They have kept the interiors and vibe to be very prohibition era esque. The cocktails are absolute craftsmanship. Unfortunately, when we went they were understaffed, so we didn’t get the whole experience. This is a must try spot and we will return soon

Had a reservation with a group 4 and was welcomed nicely, but felt like there was not a genuine customer experience overall. We had a nice experience for a few drinks that were prepared in front of our table. Waiters and servers were not providing recommendations. Was really ANNOYED that they charged tip on the bill as soon as I got the bill. Also; the tip was automatically added without informing me… that was ABOVE 20% which definitely didn’t deserve. I likely will not return again due to bad customer experience.

Needed to make a reservation but totally worth the wait. Was able to make a reservation for late the following night. Awesome service and well crafted drinks in a very cool spot. Will be back in the future.

Midnight Cowboy is a cool reservation-only cocktail bar with a speakeasy vibe. The bar cart service is pretty awesome and really elevated the experience. The only hiccup is that if you visit while the sun is still out the clear window light can be a bit distracting. But hey, overall, it's a great spot for a unique night out with fantastic cocktails!

An absolute dream! I made a reservation a week in advance and this place exceeded my expectations. The bartenders have perfected the craft of amazing cocktail creation. I had a whiskey drink that was prepared in front of me on a bar cart. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable suggesting the perfect drinks for my husband and I.

A fun experience you gotta try to start the night off right. I ordered 2 drinks, the one with tomato is very light and low alcohol so I opted for the strong whiskey next.

This was a fun place to kick off our Austin trip. At this time they only take reservations. We made two reservations for our group of 13 in advance. It is hard to get the time frame from 7-10 so book early if that is your preferred time. They open at 6. They do not reply to texts or emails do do not get discouraged. It is a speakeasy specialty cocktail bar with a little trick to get in. The rooms for groups are cute with a red light when ever you want to order. Drinks were priced reasonably at $16 each. There are some they make right in front front of the group table side. The bartenders are so experienced. They were more than willing to change out any drinks we did not love.

Midnight Cowboy is probably the most perfect speakeasy bar I’ve ever been to. The place is humble and sophisticated without being annoying and pretentious. I would come back here 100%. The best is when the bartenders mix up certain drinks right at your table!

Cool swanky bar with great atmosphere! If you're looking for unique boozy cocktails, sultry music & fantastic service this is your place. Cocktails are like a work of art. Check out the pattern on this one!

If you are looking for a low-key cocktail spot in the midst of the 6th Street chaos, this is a great spot. It comes with a high price tag though. They really know their stuff and will custom make drinks to your taste. There are small tables in the front of the speakeasy and on the back some private small rooms for groups. I will remember this place for next time as it was a real gem!

Great experience as usual. If you’re looking for a semi-private spot to enjoy cocktails with low key vibes, this is it. Our server Rocky was great; friendly, nice and very knowledgeable. I come here every time I visit the Austin area. Def worth every penny.

I had a fantastic experience at the Midnight Cowboy with friends. The atmosphere transported us back in time, creating a relaxing vibe. The drink presentations were incredibly cool, and the Southern Gent's smoky and smooth taste was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to return before our trip ends!
