Monday happy hours are all day so I had a lovely glass of a delicious cab for $3 off. Crab cakes were delish, and our fish entrees were as well. Mine was extra yum after a little Cajun hot sauce added.

What an amazing setup! I randomly stroll into this place with my two children after a car show. Praying the food is good… We’re greeted by host with smile. He brings us to our seat and hands my kids a menu that they can draw on keeps their attention. less than a minute later our waitress comes over takes our order and returns with Beignets and jelly topping and it was delicious. We ordered: kids fish and chips $9 Lobster roll $13 Burger $12 I though the fish and chips were the adults serving it was huge and very well battered. My kids ate every bite and their very picky! The lobster rolls with delicious the sweet Hawaiian bread and the claw mix with the lobster was filling and tasty. I would fly back just to enjoy it again!

Good food for a good price. We went for dinner. I had the ribeye and the flavor was good but I wish the cut of meat was better. It was a little chewy. The bread is amazing! My wife said the house salad was fresh and the ranch dressing was good. She liked the salad and rolls so much she went back for lunch the next day!

Manager was a bit pompous and did NOT notify us when a table was ready after waiting over 30 mins. We had to physically walk in from waiting outside to remind him we were still waiting to be notified. Once seated, we noticed the AC vent dripping water onto our table. It is quite noticeable that the upkeep of this restaurant isn’t up to par. Ceiling is falling apart from water damage and dripping down! His saving grace was our waiter Taco. He was on point with the service. Personable, great recommendations and shares stories, facts and history of food. Definitely enjoyed his personality and willingness to go beyond the normal service. He is 5 star Michelin quality. Although we are from out of town, we will definitely be back to experience his service during dinner. The seafood was definitely on point as well. Fresh, nice thick cuts of fish and refreshing ceviche, oysters properly cleaned, alcoholic drinks well made and dessert was delicious. Compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff. Thank you for a great anniversary date brunch apposed to anniversary dinner at Emmer and Rye which was underwhelming and disappointing for the price.

This place is awesome! I ordered the dirty drunken smoked beef tenderloin and my fiancé got the tuna steak and both were delicious! We also each had a painkiller and those were delicious as well. You won’t be disappointed coming here and the atmosphere was calm and had a romantic feel.

Oh wow this place is awesome. Possibly the best Seabass I’ve had in quite a while. With asparagus and rice. Very good great tequila collection had a nice heavy on 44. And the oysters were spot on. Recommended highly.

Cafe Blue Downtown Austin is definitely an excellent seafood restaurant. Oysters, calamari, salmon, and more. We went on a Monday around 6 pm, and only one other couple was there, so we were seated quickly and served quickly. The waiter brought us a basket of fresh sourdough bread and whipped butter. I highly recommend the Island Spice drink. It was a pineapple Jalapeño infused drink with the perfect balance of sweet and heat. The oysters were pricier than other places I have been to, but I wasn't going to miss out on them due to the price. My husband and I also got their rum apple bread pudding for dessert, and it was absolutely delicious.

It was a nice vibe and the staff was friendly. The food is a bit pricy, however, worth it. The oysters Rockefeller were good but none of the dishes had a wow factor. It’s a great place to bring someone for date night!

Some friends and I stopped here for a late lunch. They only had two people working the front and had a huge private party going on. They sat us quickly and we got our food so quickly. Not only that but we LOVED every single thing we ordered. 10/10 would recommend. Amazing staff and amazing food with a beautiful environment!

Took my parents here for Fathers day this year, it was our first time. The place is nice inside but can still dress casual. The booths were spacious and our server was amazing!! I wish I remembered his name because I would def recommend. The food was great and reasonably prized for the large portions!! The photo with just a small piece of meat was all I could capture before we devoured it, the truffled tenderloin tips were THE BEST THING! Just get them lol.

Maybe the best burger I ever had in my life, the waiter was super friendly and warm. He was full of energy and explained everything to us with patience and respect. I’d def recommend this place if you’re looking for good drinks and good food.

Stopped by Cafe Blue for breakfast/brunch before heading out of Austin. Shout out to our server Nick who fantastic and gave great recommendations. Would definitely recommend this place for drinks at brunch and for breakfast. ENJOY!!!

Cafe Blue is a decent spot. My palette is accustomed to eateries in Houston, so flavor is very important to me. I probably would not go back. I ordered Chilean Sea Bass with sautéed spinach, parmesan brussel sprouts, crab cake and house salad. The brussel sprouts were so crispy that there wasn't much veggie remaining on the inside. All of the layers were crispy. The spinach tasted like beer, crab cake was bland, however the Sea Bass was good. They almost chargrilled it too much. I wonder if the cook got busy and forgot my food. Well I would say try them for yourself, but I'm not a fan.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on the way to another restaurant I wasn’t totally bought into. I’m so glad I did! It was a beautiful sunny day so I sat outside. The service was amazing! The recommendations were spot on. The Oyster Rockefeller was absolutely mind-blowing! Unfortunately, it was the only thing I had because I had to get back, but want to go back and would definitely recommend!!!

One of my favorite go-to spots with my girls because the extensive menu always satisfies our seafood addiction! Parking can be inconvenient sometimes but staff is marvelous at ensuring no one leaves Cafe Blue disappointed!

Great menu and okay atmosphere. Although the restaurant didn’t have the menu item first requested (seafood gumbo), wrong entree brought to the table without correction (server apologized for the kitchen confusing (the fried shrimp blue plate which we ordered, with the coconut shrimp ordered by another table) and shrimp were not fully cooked on stuffed shrimp entree, we enjoyed the crab cake appetizer. The side item of creamed spinach was good, as well as dessert (bread pudding), which they left off the sauce. Not a good experience during our visit.

Accomodated my lactose intolerance well. To me the menu is a little basic, but I really appreciated how the waiter suggested substituting the coleslaw for fried green beans because I can’t have the dairy in the coleslaw. I would get something other than fried green beans next time to be healthier. The steak on my dr pepper sandwich was soft, and the sandwich was tasty. I liked the field greens.

I had a nice brunch in the spot. It’s dog friendly so I was able to sit with my dog on the patio. They started with a yummy beignet and raspberry sauce. It was awesome. I ordered the peel and eat shrimp for brunch, but they were out. They brought me a sample of the peel and eat shrimp—it was perfect. I ended up ordering gumbo and a side salad with the lemon vinaigrette. Everything was fresh and delicious.

The food was good but my Dr Pepper Fork and Knife Steak sandwich seemed or have a lot of chewy fat. Good atmosphere and not too noisy and the service was really good. It is a little pricey but not compared to everything else in the vicinity.

The crab cakes & shrimp 🍤 were delicious! My ribeye was NOT delicious. The steak was very dry and tough. My baked potato was undercooked. I dined with 9 people last Thursday, and they ordered salmon, oysters Rockefeller, quesadillas (appetizer), dessert, and a variety of alcoholic beverages. Overall, we were not pleased.

Great lunch spot. Food was delicious, and the service was a bit slow for the lunch hour. There weren’t many people eating, but I would go back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
