Parker James is a class act: Haircuts and shaves at world class level with the conversation skills and personability to make any appointment fly by in the blink of an eye. I honestly can't imagine myself going anywhere else for a cut, and it definitely doesn't hurt for the location to be as conveniently located as it is!

First time visiting this barbershop. I had an appointment booked for 12:30 pm and have been sitting here for nearly an hour unsure of what is going on with others hopping in chairs before me. Either the barber is over an hour behind schedule or it seems like random people get preferential treatment over scheduled cuts somehow? The waiting area is very nice; still comfortable after an hour of sitting on the couch!!

Have bee coming here regularly since I moved to Austin. Michael Roach is the best Barber I have ever had, high quality, loves his craft. Never had a bad cut. Hot foam back of neck shave is amazing too. Highly Recommended.

Very cool place! Always love visiting a cool new speakeasy. The bar is a little small on the inside, but has a great selection of local and non-local beers. Came here after work with a coworker and it's a nice little underground spot - definitely not too crowded and an easy vibe inside. Would recommend checking it out! (and getting a cut)

I have been going to Ryan for over decade (and yes, I should have posted a review years ago). He is an excellent barber, and always give a great haircut. The other barbers are great too, and the shop is always clean, great conversation, and consistent. I was referred by a colleague and have referred multiple colleagues who have also become regulars. This is a great locally owned business.

The Good Life Barber Shop is easily one of the best barber shops in the city! My man Mike Roach has been taking care of me for 3 years and is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had! Go see him!

Great little speakeasy tucked away downstairs. Good selection of craft beer. Local Sale was a fun bonus. Small spot so don’t plan on a big crowd. Good service and very chill. Bring a couple friends and start a night here for sure.
