When the Austin area was partially shut down to the Winter Storm on a Thursday, my only hope was any restaurant to reopen the following day. Out of the blew, I thought about a Steakhouse I haven't tried yet, and Perry's was on my mind. I was glad they reopened Friday afternoon because I never get Friday's off at all. My main intent was to try the Friday Pork Chop lunch special. I normally do not eat bread, but this particular restaurant blew me away for the bread and butter they offered. Then the main entreé came out and when I saw it, I felt like I was in a different world. Even though the pork chop was a "lunch" cut, it still look huge and very appetizing. The mashed potatoes and the applesauce (which I never had before) were great too. When I cut down in the pork chop, it was so tender that it just fell more easily than I can imagine. I even ordered a side of Fried Asparagus with lump crab meat on top and it was delicious. My waitress Angie was exceptional when it came to the service she gave me and I truly appreciate her for making sure I was happy with the experience I had. If I were to get a Friday off next time, I'll definitely come here for lunch mainly for the pork chop special.

This was one of my best anniversaries. We made reservations for our anniversary and they put rose pedals on the table in the shape of a heart. Very cool!!!. I got the pork chop which was cut up table side. Let me tell you that made me feel like I was in Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. The pork chop was juicy and tasted awesome. My wife had the filet that was also cut table side. She said it was very tender and flavorful. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing experience. Went for a birthday and the staff was so sweet and attentive to our needs. They split everything correctly, and offered this lovely complimentary dessert. The lighting is dim and comforting, just a beautiful place to chill and eat and drink and socialize. Very nice atmosphere overall. Nice for families or groups of friends!

I think I don't have to write anything about this place. Haha Everybody knows how great this place is. Super tasty foods and drinks😋✨ It was eye-opening to me to see how big my pork chop was. It was almost the same size as my head. Haha You have deal of pork chop for Friday lunch ($17)and Sunday night($39). Sunday night, you can get salad/soup, pork chop and dessert plate! I got that one and I got extremely full and satisfied.😋( I only could eat 1/7 of the pork. Haha)

First time visiting Austin, Texas and I was looking for an upscale restaurant to celebrate my birthday. My top choice was Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the most memorable birthday dinner. The food presentation wasn’t impressive, the wait time between the starter and appetizer was a bit too much. I guess maybe because it was a busy night. However, my steak was cooked to the degree of doneness I requested and the ambiance is lovely!!! So I herby still recommend if you want a upscale dining experience. By the way, thanks for the complimentary birthday desert and birthday card. Valet parking ✅ Lovely Ambiance ✅ Good Wine Selection ✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Entrance✅ 🚻Restroom

This is a great place! My husband had a steak and I had the redfish! Both were so tender and delicious. We will definitely be back. Our server, Casey, was so knowledgeable and friendly. We went back a week later to try the senior menu. It’s still expensive, but oh so good! The pork chop was amazing! We had enough food left over for another meal. Service was once again phenomenal.

Solid staff, solid food, great experience. Went during lunch on the famous Friday for the Pork Chops and they didn't disappoint. Mashed potatoes and applesauce (side note they need more applesauce) and the two pieces of Pork Chops layers on top of each other was amazing. Would love to come back for dinner and more options

Amazing. Third time there at the downtown Austin location. Will continue to go. From the front door to the table it is excellent. The wait area is miniscule, but this is because there is generally no wait. MAKE YOUR RESERVATION. The filet mignon is amazing. Prime NY Strip was beautifully cooked. Lobster tail was delicious and buttery. The sides were Brussel sprouts - perfect! Loaded mashed potatoes - fluffy and beautiful. Macaroni and cheese - just right. The hamburger with bacon was oh my God! Total bill with tip just over $300 DO IT!

Delicious meal! I made reservations online and was promptly seated when I arrived. Our server Wesley, was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband ordered the Prime NY Strip with a small order of potatoes au gratin and I ordered the Steakhouse Brick Chicken. Both meals were cooked perfectly and were super tender and flavorful. I especially loved the truffle merlot demiglace sauce that came on the side. After our entrees we shared the bananas foster which (definitely a big enough size to share) was the perfect ending to a great meal.

We came here for a long overdue date night / anniversary dinner. The food was really good and the experience was excellent. Our Waitress Nicole did a great job taking care of us, explaining the menu and wine and cocktail selections and overall making us feel special. On to the food, the complementary bread and the chargrilled Blue Point Oysters were incredible. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. I ordered the filet three way which allowed me to to taste the filet mignon in 3 different styles. All of them were very good except the peppercorn which was too salty. My wife had the Symphony Kabob so she could try a variety of meats. Her favorite was the shrimp. After our main, we were offered our choice of dessert on the house which was an unexpected pleasant surprise! We chose the seasonal Orange Vanilla Cream Cheesecake. It was not our favorite. The orange flavor reminded us of those cheap orange popsicles you can buy at the grocery store. The cheesecake itself was too sweet for my liking. We would opt for something different next time though we definitely appreciate the gesture. Overall, it was an excellent experience, the ambience and vibe was great, the service was superb, and the food was good and the drinks were strong. I would definitely recommend Perry's for dates and special occasions!

A place where you can be satisfied with the atmosphere, food, and drinks. Also recommended for dinner parties. If you have four people, order the signature steakhouse smorgasbord for four and you'll be sure to be satisfied. Especially the pork chop is the best.

Came here during happy hour. They had a deal on some drinks and appetizers. It was pretty busy on a Friday at 6pm. They give you complementary bread and whipped butter. Their ribeye was well marbled and came out on a cast iron skillet. I wished they offered a thicker cut. Their signature butter on top of their steak was delicious but a tad salty since their steaks also come salted. Definitely one of the better steaks I’ve had in town. Our server Alejandro was friendly and attentive.

They Forgot about us…on my birthday!! I literally the whole night kept mentioning the whole dinner being totally bewildered! So winding the story back, we had reservations for 8pm Friday the 27th of October for over a month, showed up around 7:30, and checked in. Not only did we literally stand over half an hour awaiting our name to be called, but over the course of that time, not one, not two, but three hostesses not once asked us “if we had checked in”, checked on our reservation, NOPE, just blank stares between calling names. Around 8:05, I walked up to a hostess to ask about our reservation, upon which they immediately led us up the stairs to the seating area…WHERE THE SAT THE WRONG PARTY…and said they thought we would be joining…not only did they not ask them to move…they literally sat us at a table clearly not intended to be used. Mind you I wasn’t in casual Friday attire, silk shirt, slacks, polished shoes, ect…Birthday attire, to be sat at a oops we messed up table after being blankly stared at for a half hour! So past the reservation, the table chair literally looked dirty, food was abhorrently long wait and oh the ambiance…..yelling…parties literally yelling. I couldn’t even hear a conversation between myself and my date literally a foot away as the chairs were improperly placed and hostess didn’t even bother moving, her actual only words were “sorry” before walking off. The dress code is a joke at best, basically any clothing is acceptable there. The dress code gives off vibes that it isn’t a requirement for entry but a simplified justification for removal. The waiter was pretty nice but food takes a long time, no offers for extra bread. Also how is it surf in turf with decent steak…and the smallest of lobster tails, honestly underwhelming! Overall imho Fogo de Chão would’ve been eons better, never had extremely loud parties, better selection and ambience. Way to drop the ball and not even try to show decorum for such a blunder or adhere to the very social rules this establishment was chosen for as the noise and lack of attention to detail was truly abhorrent. Also apparently you get a free dessert on your birthday…nope nothing, nada!

We were visiting Austin for a bachelor party and decided to try this place out. We booked their private room “the vault” for our party. We had 2 servers working to make sure all our needs were met. The food was beyond amazing. We have zero complaints only praises. 5/5

It was an amazing dining experience. From the atmosphere to Michael, our server, throughout the entire meal, we had an amazing time. We were there for a real estate conference, and they made the experience well worth our time. I highly recommend the smorgasbord for four!!

This was one of the best food experiences I've had in a long time. The service was amazing and so was our food. I had the bacon wrapped filet and my boyfriend had the famous pork chop (which is more the size of your torso because it's 3 parts of the pig). They were both amazing. I also highly recommend the corn brulee it was one of the best side dishes I've ever had. Would love to go again if I could find one close enough.

Cannot say enough about this gastronomical & gorgeous & quietly glamorous place. Fabulous for special occasions and caters to culinary needs like Pescetarians and Vegans. But of course, the jewel in the crown are its steaks and wines. Thank you to our waiter Brian for his lovely service.

Great place to go if you're in Austin. Be aware of insane wait times so please put on a reservation or don't try to go Food was amazing and service was the best in town! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu Few parking structure options around you and there is valet out front

Perry's never disappoints. We love the pork chop lunch special on Fridays and my wife and I came for a lunch date. We tried the scallops on a bacon slab and man, talk about a flavor bomb. My wife had never had scallops and now she's in love. Cooked perfectly and then sat a top a thick bacon slice, this surf and turf app was delicious. We both got pork chops of course, and of course we loved it and had tons of leftovers. Pork chop is always juicy and cooked perfectly and packed with amazing flavor. Then we finished of with the new seasonal pumpkin spice cheese cake which was a thick new York style cheese cake that I prefer, with pumpkin flavor and lots of nutmeg. Very good and a nod to fall even though it's still 95 degrees out. Overall we love coming to Perry's and will be back for more soon.

We enjoyed Mother's Day brunch. Our table was in the vault room so it was nice and quiet. Our server Stephanie was very good. She told us about the menu and made sure we were well taken care of. My chateaubriand was prepared perfectly and I very much enjoyed the grilled asparagus. My wife and sons salads were also done perfectly and not over dressed like some restaurants do.

We came here for the famous pork chop lunch special. It comes with mashed potatoes and apple sauce and I added asparagus. The asparagus was lightly breaded and tasted great. The pork chop was out of this world good. The glaze is delicious and the pork was still juicy and not dried out. Our server, wish I could recall his name, was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We went there with my girlfriend for her birthday. There is nothing too much things to say. Eveything is great. Prime ribs are so delicious. The only problem is that we have chose our occasion but they have not gave birthday cake in the end. We saw they shave served to 2 table. I am not sure it was complimentary or not, but still it is not a big deal. Overall, it is fancy, expensive and gorgeous restaurant.

Beautiful location. The food was amazing. The service is so slow though. Dinner took us 2.5 hours. The only reason it got 4 stars and not 5 is that our server didn’t ask us if we wanted large or small sides and billed us for large ones. He decided by himself. Uncool. The beef and bleu and the potato au gratin are must tries.

There is only one thing I order here: Perry’s Famous Pork Chop. It is absolutely amazing. I’ve had this in Austin at both locations and it is spot on both times. Absolutely a must at least once in your lifetime. My companions had the church and fish dishes and they both finished their dishes so I assume the other food is delightful as well. I will be back…
