As a chaplain, I asked the bartender, why the name Lazarus? He stated the owner was a pastor. I'm not a believer in the prosperity gospel, but this place was hop(ping) and well maintained. After 545pm people just kept pouring in, the atmosphere lively even without live music. I believe the owner must take pride in his business and his employees and I think its popularity shows. The beer was excellent.

Awesome brewery with their own selections. Nice indoor seating options but very large outdoor area as well. They have a breakfast menu that serve till 1:00 and lunch and dinner options as well that are really good.

I love a place I can get great beer and coffee! Good vibes, lots of people working on laptops if you need a place to chill. Parking can be a bit tricky, there is limited parking out front. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Quite a few breweries on the street if you want to skip the expensive beer tours and go out on your own!

Gluten-free beer! Enough said since a friend can only drink it. Huge covered and uncovered patio with fans and misters everywhere, lots of nooks to drink in indoors and open to outdoors, great coffee and food too. The tortas are amazing. Friendly and helpful staff. 5 stars.

Not very customer friendly more worried more about talking and flirting with each other. Not for people who like dark beer. Maybe it's just the time of year but of the 4 of 4 beers I tried they were either to citrusy or far to floral. The Carnitas tacos were the only thing worth coming for. Did not try the coffee. Didn't really want to after the not great beer and decent tacos.

This brewery offers decent beer in a type of communal setting with shared tables. It’s a relaxed and social type atmosphere. Good for enjoying a night out. Kinda hard to talk with so much going on though. If you want a little privacy you won’t get it here.

The decor is adorable. The queso fondido is delish. The tacos needs some more lovin. The handsome man that works out of there is all the reason to visit.

Great selection of brews, incredible street tacos, and plenty of outdoor covered seating, this is the perfect spot to meet and chill with your friends.

Stopped here as a twofer since I needed coffee and wanted to try some local brews. The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly, and the drinks were good (both the coffee and the beer). Didn't get to try the tacos but they looked pretty awesome.

Lazarus Brewing is one of my favorite breweries in Downtown/East Austin. I first went there for a lunch and their food are delicious too! I've been going back for a year by now and they never disappoint. The whole ambiance is very chill and hip. With spacious indoor and outdoor seatings, this place is great for corporate events and private celebrations as well. My favorite corner is the sofa area underneath the deer. It's very close to the counter and the spot is just really comfy and cute :) When the weathers nice, I would recommend grab a and go to their outdoor patio. They have very cool murals and oak barrel wall decors. Food-wise, I love their tacos and quesadillas. Lunch bowls are yummy too. Drinks-wise, my favorite beer is called "As You Wish". It's so flavorful and smells really good. Plus, all price reasonable. Lastly, staff are all friendly. And the wait time is never too long even during rush hours.

Great brewpub. I love their beers. The ambiance is so pleasant, friendly, and inviting. Very large space with multiple seating options.

Had lunch here. It's a coffee shop and a bar. They also have a menu featuring tacos, rice/salad bowls, and sandwich. Each can be customized with choice of protein. My favorite is the pollo verde. Indoor and outdoor seating is abundant. This is walking distance from the office so parking is not a concern for me.

Dropped by on an early beautiful Saturday - the atmosphere is quite laidback and comfy. Love the structure of this brewery and the blue buildings that follow.

If you're looking for laid-back patio brewery, this place is pretty chill, and their tacos and bowls are good, too. Okay, tacos are better than good, and be sure to get the hot 🔥 sauce. We went for lunch, but it's more a brewery, hang out place than just for lunch.

Came here for breakfast. Food and beer was awesome. I had the breakfast tacos and 2 were more than plenty. They have a wonderful patio area as well as indoor seating. The only downside is it can be difficult to find parking in this neighborhood.

Excellent beer and wine options and soft drinks for non beer drinkers. Between us we tried brown ale, hazy IPA, double IPA and Pilsner. All had excellent flavor. Unfortunately they have succumbed to the scam your customers and supplement staff wages trick by flipping the payment screen towards the customer and almost demanding a tip with choices varying from 35% to 20% when the only service provided was to pour the drinks. This leaves a bad taste and reflects poorly on the owners of the business.

Good beer and great quesadilla!! Cool spot to just hangout and grab a beer! They have two indoor bars and a cool patio to hang on!

Nice laid back brewery with the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. The beers that brew were good and the staff was great to talk to. A must if you’re in Austin!

Great selection of beers, brewed freshly in house. Lots of seating inside / outside. Cozy & laidback environment. They serve food but haven’t tried. Right in the center of East Austin, in a lively neighborhood for extra bar hopping. All in all, one of most popular places among locals, rightfully deserved to be so 👌🏼

Absolutely loved this place - great vibes, good clientele and quick service. Stopped in this past Sunday for what supposed to be a quick bite at the bar, then moved it outside to enjoy the warm weather and ended up staying for hours. Good beer offerings on tap, and solid wines too. The food was phenomenal - get the Queso Fundido with the chorizo. The Torta was a little messy but super flavorful - we got the chicken adobo on that one. Tacos were good too, especially the Al Pastor. We also noshed on the chips & guac, and I gotta say - that was some fresh guac! Very pup friendly, so will definitely be back with the fur babies!

The beer is outstanding and that’s all that really matters! The nachos were great but the snack menu could really benefit from a few more items. On a personal note: Having 30% tip preset for a place where you order at the counter is bold.

The beer here was pretty good, and the atmosphere was nice. They had live music, but not a single TV. So if you're looking to catch a game and have a beer, this isn't your spot. Not gonna penalize the score for that tho.. you just have to know going in.

Lazarus has good tasty beers, and I usually take one of their IPAs. Their patio is spacious, so plenty of people working on their laptop or reading. They usually have music in the background, but with low volume. From the outside, this place might look small, but they have a plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Parking can be an issue, as there are only a few parking spots in the front, and mostly street parking on 6th, which can be tricky.

Excellent brewery to stop by for a quick beer or lose the afternoon/evening. Lazarus provides beer and food options for all needs and with the friendly helpful staff there to guide you on preferences. We tried the ipas which were great. There was live music from around 7pm too. Free parking out front.

This popular spot is ready for the holidays. Their good beers go well with the foods they offer, above and beyond a simple pub menu. The non-beer options are limited but there is wine and bubbles. The ambiance and the massive tree do the rest, you have plenty of seating options but parking is tight in the area.
