We LOVE Parker’s Jazz Club! Went for my birthday weekend (Valentine’s Day). The music is great, along with good service and the alcoholic drinks are phenomenal! The desserts are the topping on the cake. It’s a small intimate set, so get there early! It’s an adult vibe with great people (and artists). If you love love Jazz Music, Parker’s is the spot!

11/21/23 - Another delightful evening at Parker Jazz Club, this time brought 7 out of town family members who’d never seen a live jazz show! Was sold out and the crowd really into the show. Another treat was hearing Jennifer, Kris’s wife, sing and they have fantastic on-stage chemistry. I look forward to seeing them together again! Our guests commented that part of the draw is Kris’s energy and his obvious enthusiasm for jazz, his family, his club, and the house band. It completely makes the evening. While I wholeheartedly recommend Parker Jazz Club, and will continue going a few times a year to support this small business & live arts, two things occurred in the last year that’s bothered me. This recent time our waitress brought everyone bottled water and, in hindsight, we should’ve asked if it was complementary or the charge as EACH bottle was $3! The waitress should state “Would you like to buy a bottle of water?” vs “I brought waters for everyone.” so it’s clear. Then the time before this we had our ticket fees ($80 or $100) added to our bar tab, nice and convenient, except the gratuity is calculated on total sales so our waitress received 20% tip on our tickets which I didn’t catch until after paying. I recommend they speak with their software vendor to reconfigure so gratuity not calculated on tickets, that’s simply a cruddy customer experience to what’s otherwise a lovely time. I randomly found Parker Jazz Club in Feb 2018, shortly after they opened, and been attending shows every six months or so since. I recommend to friends and colleagues for a unique night out! The environment is casual yet incredibly romantic with the low lighting and close tables. Drinks are delicious and I make a point to try new ones each visit. Looking forward to when they resume nibbles as the jazz supper club was a beautifully unique date night. The owner, Kris, is charismatic and the love he has for music and the house band, Ryan Davis trio, radiates from him. Make a date to go now, you’ll love it and wonder why it took you so long to go!

This place is a gem! The sound is incredible and staff is welcoming. Tuesday night is all ages so you can bring your kids who might love jazz. The drinks are strong and chairs were comfortable. As an Austinite of over 20 years, I must say this place is better than the Elephant room.

This place is probably “no need to explain” place in Austin especially for jazz lovers and music lovers, I guess. I’ve been in this jazz club yesterday, and it was my first time here. And i had so much great time. 🎶😍🎹 The musicians were amazing, the singer was like a sweet bird, the choice of musics was so wonderful, and their tunes were really really nice…👍 It was the perfect night for me. So much appreciated to all of the artists!! And I decided to come here often😍😊😉👍

Really liked that we had a dedicated table and our own space. Late showing had about 15-20 people present and the musicians kept mentioning how small the crowd was, which hurt my experience and then the restaurant brought people off the street into the club and didn't charge them the $30/pp entrance fee to help fill the room. It was disruptive and frustrating paying $60 just to get in plus food and drinks just to keep getting distracted by latecomers and being verbally reminded that we weren't appreciated even though we bought tickets and arrived early and we're excited. Music was decent but definitely a museum of jazz instead of soul. Great for getting the wide breath of types of songs. I'd recommend going to the 1st earlier show because they have more energy (we came and listened to the last few songs since we were early) and it's fun! Or, don't waste your money and stand upstairs outside on a slow night during the late showing and save some bucks.

The only reason I stopped in Austin was to see Parker Jazz Co. I've never been to Austin, but follow the nightclubs on Instagram. This place was great. I saw Bryan Anthony Quartet.

Parker Jazz Club will ignite a fire below your feet! The sound engineering was so phenomenal it felt like a dream or auditory illusion. The players were jolly and full of intent. The lighting was perfect. Thank you for providing a memorable experience to us youngsters from Utah.

Parker Jazz Club is simply fantastic. If you like jazz, or you like music in general, this is the place to be. When looking for a jazz bar/club to visit in Austin, I chose Parker because the photos people had taken sold me on it. The club did not disappoint. The ambiance, the service, the music... top-notch. Kris should be proud of what he has built with Parker Jazz Club. We went on October 21, 2023, and heard the club's owner, Kris Kimura, and the Ryan Davis Trio. All of them are incredibly talented and we could tell they were having a blast. It was our first time going and we will definitely be back. Well done, Kris.

Unreal show. One of the best places in Austin to have great cocktails and see an amazing show. The band on 10/21 was incredible. If you’re looking for a date night on a different pace than the rest of Austin and a chance to dress classy, this is absolutely your spot. 10/10 coming back and would recommend

Parker Jazz is the nicest Jazz establishment in the area. Great music and great artists come through this place. Make sure to reserve a table or get there early, seating is at a prime. But really the sound setup is great anywhere is a good seat.

Just perfect! Curated Jazz sets by Kris Kimura, owner of Parker Jazz Club. Just the right mix of story-telling and music. Speaking of the music, the band is excellent! Their synergy and skill level elevates you to next-level immersive jazz. A great evening out and can't wait to be back!

I must admit, this is certainly the quintessential jazz club. I've been to Jazz TX in San Antonio - and I think this club has it beat. The lighting and music was spectacular, at least on the night my sister and I went to hear Great American Standards. I've been performing at venues around Austin for a few years, and I would certainly be delighted if I ever had the chance to play here. Service was great; our waitress was very friendly as well. Great selection of tunes - I was very impressed with Kris' talent for playing multiple instruments.

It was hands down the best live nightclub performance I have ever been to. All of the performers were extremely talented and sounded incredible! You will be so glad you went.

Elevated, intimate experience with fantastic music. The owner played with his band, showcasing jazz from New Orleans, Brazil, and other parts of the world. Really fantastic cocktails as well. Would highly recommend.

There are not very many places like Parker's Jazz Club in Texas. Expressly built for the stage sound and audience's enjoyment. It's such a cool & fun environment. Kris and the house band are so sharp along with Kris' vocalist wife, Jennifer... wonderful people, including the waitstaff, dashing about in their fine black fashion, serving and collecting well tended drinks - and even good pizza. However, I would like to hear more classic jazz that's extemporaneous. Still, go and experience it, I say, several times I say!

We had a great night at Parker’s Jazz Club when they had Ryan Davis Trio with a Special Guest. The performance was phenomenal! I have to say that it was a different level compared to the performances we saw at our local jazz club. The stage and the lighting were set well to showcase the great performance of the musicians, too. The venue has a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The seat was comfortable to sit on and we were pleasantly surprised that the pizza and a cup of tea recommended by our server were also really good. Although we live a little away from Austin, we cannot wait to go back to Parker’s! We will definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes jazz or those who have never been to a jazz club. Thank you for the great experience!

This jazz club is so great. We really enjoyed our selfs. We were greeted very nicely when entered. The seating was comfortable. The place is nice and cozy. The drink selection was great and very well made. We didn’t have the pizzas but they looked really good. The owner was so talented playing so many instruments. He made everyone feel at home. The band was fabulous such a great show. We will definitely be back.

This place is awesome! Great drink, great style, awesome location and setting. But (unsurprisingly) best of all was the music and the band. Really cool Christmas-themed set, but it is really all about the people. Kris Kimura (owner of the club and father of Parker, who it is named for) was a hilarious, entertaining and talented host - he plays 8+ instruments! I look forward to coming back!

I've been there 6 times and loved it each time. Twice it was the house band, 3 guest bands and best of all the house orchestra. Good wine and service, and outstanding atmosphere. Feels a lot like a Manhattan basement club. Sarah is a wonderful waitress, makes you feel like a friend. Can't wait til next year when they'll have lite bites.

Austin live music at its BEST. Been here for two shows, one for the great American songbook show with some friends and the Xmas show with my family. Both very excellent shows. Just the stage dynamic, laughs, and sheer talent of artists playing is unbelievable.
