Great spot for bourbon and cocktails. The staff was fantastic. Our bartender was knowledgeable and accommodating. The bourbon list was extensive and has some local flavor to it. When we were here they had live music. Pretty cool spot for locals and tourists, alike. Bring your girlfriend here. She'll love it.

Seven Grand is a pretty fancy bar for whiskey and tequila. They have a good selection of both. The amazing thing is that they have separate sections for both liquors! Nice seating area both inside and outside. Charming bar shelf beautifully decorated. The bartender seemed very knowledgeable. Their cocktails didn't surprise me too much but the whiskeys were amazing, especially the smoked ones.

Had an amazing hot toddy and penicillin at seven grand! The bartender went above and beyond spicing up the hot toddy with a clove studded lemon slice. Whiskey selection was kind of sparse and a little on the pricier side however.

Every bar in this part of Austin seems to have the pre-requisite photo booth, pool table, dartboard, shuttle board, or other gaming devices to keep the drinks rolling and the entertainment easy... this place is no different offering all that stuff and more. But it's much better! It’s worth the two-block walk to get off of 6th Street and into a bar where you can take a deep breath. This bar offers a very inviting environment with low lights, comfy barstools and a ridiculous selection of fine bourbons and whiskeys. The music is tuned up to keep the vibe rolling and the bartenders are true craftsmen with the flavor profiles they combine. They have something for everyone... Even the people who don't usually drink bourbon. Great bar, just give it a shot.

On the other side of Willie and Janis you’re going to find thee Best Whiskey Bar in Austin. Friendly, eccentric and chill. Rows upon rows of whiskey or just ask for a recommendation- which GM Stephanie *loves* to give. And honestly? Just do what she says, you won’t regret it. Afterwards, walk out back and grab some carnitas tacos and then setup a pool table to enjoy your evening. This is an experience that Will Not Disappoint.

Painfully understaffed. 1 bartender for a ~30 person bar+billiards area. Incredible selection of whiskeys and beer, great ambience, good prices, and a cool outdoor area that connects 3 different bars. The drinks are all specialty drinks and it was not the bartenders fault that she was tasked with making each individual drink alone. She was super nice but over burdened causing the service to be excruciatingly slow. Hire this woman some help!

First time at this bar, even though I have lived in Austin for many years, I was pleasantly surprised on the ambiance and the drinks selection. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a good drink close to dirty 6 street.

Awesome bar. Two of the bars are connected next to each other and the backyard patio was nice spot to smoke a cigar out of.

The side of the building boasts “best damn tacos” — and is NOT false advertisement!! These tacos were beyond delicious! The place overall had a dope atmosphere— a HUGE HUGE selection of tequila and whiskey. I really live the concept and how this place was setup. It is definitely worth checking out!

You want to know what kind of place this is? I was there last night to enjoy some good whisky and smoke a stogie with a friend. Had a great time there. Ambience and selection of whisky was awesome. I forgot my bag of stogies there. They actually reached out to me on Instagram and told me I left them there and held them in their office until I could pick them up tonight. They have a customer for life in me because of that. Awesome staff!!

Best place to play pool and sip whiskey in a relaxed environment. Extensive liquor collection, and the staff is very knowledgeable. Several food trucks right outside. If you’re looking for a more mature crowd, this is you’re place.

Very cool place for a drink and friendly staff. We sat at the bar and the bartender recommended drinks which were all great. This is also a fun place to try new whiskeys. It's pricey but well worth it for the service and thought that goes into the drinks. Put this on your list of fun pre-dinner drink locations.

This place has a sophisticated but relaxed feel -- dark wood, low lights, conversations at a normal volume. It was Sunday night, so I don't know if that's always the case. In fact, it was Sinatra Sunday and the music added to the ambiance. The nearly floor-to-ceiling shelves beautifully showcased more whiskeys than I would have guessed existed. The bartender was very knowledgeable about all types of whiskey and whiskey trivia. I was going to default to my usual whiskey and coke, but she recommended a Southpaw, a Seven Grand signature drink, and it was excellent.

Excellent whisky bar! Best whiskey sour I've ever had; everything else I've had from the cocktail menu was comparably awesome. The bar has an excellent selection and the bar tenders are also great about making recommendations.

Some of the best drinks I've had. Service has been wishy-washy at times. Felt like the bartenders didn't want to take my order a few times but whatever. They have a solid happy hour and more than plenty of bottles to choose from.

Have been coming here for years, love the vibe usually - it's gotten odd this past year. Shelves are looking bare, no whiskey list any longer so it's gamble what these unknown bottles cost. Vibe was not great and it was fairly empty from 9pm-11pm on Friday night

Great vibe, pretty extensive whiskey's on offer and extremely knowledgeable staff. Pool tables and a nice outdoor area round it out, plus if you're like me and enjoy yourself a tequila or mezcal, make sure you head out back for an entirely new experience in their connected bar. Seven grand is all around a very great place to be I went for the first time last week and it was great I loved the whole set up, the drinks were great, it has a very classy look to it. If you wonder off towards the back you will find a nice little surprise.
