My 5’2 100 lb daughter was a customer at your bar last Thursday night. She and her friends were unnecessarily man handled by a very large, way over 6 ft tall, bouncer who shouted profanities and pushed them down the stairs. The crime!?!? They asked him why he was kicking out their friend and touched his arm to get his attention. This kind of aggression is not appropriate!! I understand having to maintain control and order at a drinking establishment with customers that can be unruly but this was NOTHING like that. What’s the explanation of this uncivil, aggressive, physical behavior by YOUR employee?? 10 days later....still no call back from The Summit.

It can be fun with the right people but definitely not a hype place. There’s a power-trippy type of bouncer there and that definitely ruined vibes. Tables are priced differently each time so there’s definitely some ripping off going on too. Either way, just a cheap and awkward establishment!

My 6 friends & I attended a party as Martin Ikin as the DJ. Undeniably, we had a blast. The music was great and the venue’s aesthetic was great. Unfortunately, the host at the front door gave us a bargain for bottle service when initially we decided we were not going to purchase. He agreed to a price for two bottles of liquor. At the end of the night, him and the manager disputed the agreement and told us our friend were mearly “drunk” and that we clearly misunderstood. Six of us verbally heard the host agree to the price. 40 Dollars a person won’t break us, however we know we were scammed. Be cautious.

Terrible service from three out of four bartenders. They were absolutely rude, drinks were trash, especially for being $14 plus. Just saw that charged my card again and upped our tip amount from $1 per drink to $4. There are so many better places to go like 20 feet away.

Very weird vibe here. Small and intimate. The main speaker array is in the middle of the venue facing the backs of the pit. It's odd dancing while facing the stage only to hear the music come from behind. There was also a large, temporary barrier preventing views of downtown Austin and the street below for reasons unknown. It was quite dead around 11pm, didn't start picking up until midnight. It's not a Vegas club but it does the best it can

Pathetic venue, poor staff, if you can go to any other venue I would consider it.

Wish I could give it zero stars. I paid to get into a DJ show a couple weekends ago and purchased one drink then my friend bought a table. The fact that we even had to pay to get into an event when we purchased a table is absurd. That next day, I realized the bartender over charged me for drinks I never ordered. Tried calling and you can’t get anyone on the phone. Emailed three times and finally someone by the name of Johnny responded and told me there was no way the bartender could have overcharged me and I cannot be refunded. Terrible customer service and poorly run establishment. Will never be going back here and neither will my friends. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Good place for EDM music. You can dance, get drinks, and move around. The bartenders and security were fine. I was afraid this would be a bad place (from All the bad reviews). But it’s actually attractive venue & has a good vibe.

Amazing DJ and energetic vibes. Pretty bad vibe when we entered at 10pm but it picked up like crazy and stayed till 3am dancing. There might be a cover charge or we were ripped of 30$, either way be weary of that!

Horrible experience. Five bartenders. Bar was almost empty and getting a drink seemed to be a huge inconvenience on them.

Worst NYE experience. Will never come back here. Waste of $$$!!! Should be able to give it zero stars!!!We purchased an over priced section. It would have been fine if we actually received service and it was a pleasant experience.They didn’t even bring us champagne until we complained. A complete scam!!False advertisement, incompetent staff. Also very disappointed as this was a Hella Yella event and the vibe was off. I would imagine he would be spinning at the roof top but that wasn’t the case. As soon as it was 12pm everyone left the club and it was empty but it wasn’t a packed event to begin with. We probably didn’t even need to purchase anything for how horrible of an outcome it was. I want my money back! Buyer beware if you purchase anything for any type of event they host here.

The place is nice. It is a rooftop so it is not nice in cold weather. The sound has not the deep bass EDM needs. All the speakers are on one side of the dance floor so if you are on the other side the music sounds dimmed.

Loved everything about my experience here 8/4/2023 - the chill atmosphere (so welcome on a steamy hot summer night), the opening artist Errow who shared incredible music and energizing beats, the friendly staff and tasty drink options at the bar, and most importantly- 💙Phantoms! 💙They created such an uplifting, fun, dance- inspiring set with an awesome playlist. And they blew us away as 2 super kind human beings, taking time to chat (and share a shot ) with us after the set. Thank you! Unforgettable night. ✨🖤🎶🖤✨

They won't stop playing OFFENSIVE n words over and over. It's like they just pick ones they know will be there and then BLASTING IT. Then they search for another over and over. I'm not black, but it's extremely out of control that they are trying to get people drunk with impaired judgment so that they can bombard them with offensive pejoratives.

This place was really cool. I recommend doing the low tier VIP package, you get a nice bathroom and bar near front just for VIPs. Also it is probably obvious but most shows start WAYYY after doors open. Typical for Dj sets tho.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I had to wait an hr to get inside for a Black Coffee show. Missed most of his set. The bouncers at the door have no idea what they are doing & they kept holding the door because “it was at capacity”. Maybe if they didn’t oversell the venue to make a few extra bucks on tickets we’d be able to get in. Came from Dallas to deal with this cluster. Never going back, save your money!!!!! This small venue has potential for some intimate vibes but it’s a money grab. Never going back no matter who’s playing.

Easily worst experience at a bar. Wait at the bar for an hour only to have the bartender continuously ignore and then be rude when asked.

Great music! Probably the best music from all the bars I went to during my visit! Getting a drink is quick and no long lines at the bar. Next time I’m in Austin I will be back!

Fabulous venue for a DJ set, small enough that everyone can see the DJ's and feel apart of the crowd but big enough that you can still move about and get a little extra dancing space if you need it. Beers aren't ludicrously expensive either, which is nice for a club. I always found it easy to get service too.

Great spot, especially for tables. I've never had an issue with the staff or bouncers that other reviewers have alluded to. My experience is that the staff is attentive without being intrusive. Good service too. I generally prefer other types of music to EDM, but this is my top choice in Austin if I'm going to listen to EDM and/or grab a table. Also thanks to Johnny for his assistance on my last booking.

Summit is always filled with beautiful people and a great dj. I love the rooftop and multiple bars, so you aren't stuck waiting forever for a drink. This place is good for a night out, or table service for a special occasion or celebration.

Sound system is good. Drinks were alright, not the best made. Dirty and outdated bathrooms. Friendly staff though.

we where there on a Saturday but upstairs was closed anyway .. bar waa open and they did not play mashup that was nice
