Happy Chicks does not disappoint when it comes to chicken and flavor. I got the chicken sandwich with the smoked bacon sauce. The fried were also good. The Mac n cheese is one I’d want to try next time and clearly the creamed corn is good because they were sold out. Thanks Happy Chicks

I came here while at a convention and they did me so dirty. I ordered a simple chicken wrap and I pretty much only got lettuce. They put remnants of the breaded chicken in the wrap and a maybe a FEW bites of actual chicken. Posting even though I know the people that go here a probably too happy from a night out to care but I thought I’d save the time of those who care. The waiter doesn’t come to the tables often so there’s no way of them knowing when you need a refill. There’s also zero AC in there and they keep the door wide open despite it being 100+degrees outside.

Great fried chicken and fries! The corn gravy was exceptional! Also the waitress was gorgeous and friendly! A great addition! Recommended!

The chicken tender was perfect! 5/5! Freshly cooked, crispy, and spot on delicious! The sandwich was lacking. I snagged a spicy chicken sandwich and tasted zero spice. Fries were good. Mac was just OK and not super fresh. Four stars because the service was top top notch! Friendly, attentive, and helpful!

What me n my partner found very cool was the self seatin and self ordering. At first The lemonade tasted dank. Then it’s tasted fine later. I’ll admit the chicken didn’t really have any flavor but the breading was great. It was very nice n crunchy. N I had gotten it with honey mustered n that was amazing. Some parts of the fries almost tasted raw. But the service overall was pretty good.

A great place for tasty chicken. I decided on the grilled tenders, because I can get fried anywhere, and honestly who can get fried tenders wrong. I was extremely happy with the grilled tenders, juicy and well seasoned. Their fries were also tasty, very crispy, along with a large cup of white Mac n cheese with chives. It was all delicious and the staff was friendly as well. The food came out quickly and everything was handled through an app and electronic menu, very convenient. The atmosphere was very relaxed with good music and even a disco ball chicken near the front! Highly reccomend stopping by for some really good comfort food.

I ordered spicy and the chicken tasted good, however; I wouldn’t consider it spicy. The sauces were really good and all the food was very fresh. I actually had to wait a little while for it to cool down. Very friendly staff and liked that you ordered through a QR code on the table. Will certainly come back again. I’d give it a 5 star if the chicken was actually spicy.

I use to love this place but the last two times I have ordered take out, it has been horrible. It is cold and seems like they just threw leftovers in a box. Tonight, I even had an undercooked nugget! I work up the street once in awhile but I will be paying for the over priced pizza down the street.

If I could give the service a 0 I Would. Please Take Consideration of this review before stopping here. The Mac and cheese was dried out and the bacon was very hard as if they serve leftovers that couldn’t sell from the day before. I stopped in at their least busiest hour, LITERALLY only my wife and myself was in this place just to be fair on the rating. I have over 500k followers on my social media pushing the Austin food community but I don’t disclose it to prevent special service that you normally wouldn’t give. There are a plethora of way better places close by that would satisfy your appetite and recieve customer service on a totally different level. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!!

The food tasted fine. I was hoping for a more diverse menu. The strips are good. The creamed corn is very good. I liked the entire meal. I hope to make it back at some point. The server was efficient and thorough.

Last week sometime I went into happy chicks as I was Hungry for chicken and their menu sounded amazing. It did not disappoint! Everything definitely exceeded expectations! Our server Han was able to make us some amazing drinks and help show us how to order. The Mac and cheese was amazing and creamy and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I will be returning.

My favorite thing about this restaurant is the disco ball chickens because the one over the bar has two fabulous butt cheeks just spinning around. The food was great I really like how they have a lot of options for sauces. The mac & cheese could be a little more cheesier. Overall experience was great

On Sunday in Austin Happy Chicks is a great place to watch the games and eat some good food. They were nice enough to put the Jays game on for us among a bunch of NFL games and fans. The Happy Chicks Salad and the Chicken Tenders were tasty. $4.25 beers went down easy while enjoying game day! Excellent service and a convenient location. I’ll definitely be back to Happy Chicks!

The chicken tenders and sauces were decent but nothing to exciting. The boxes don't have the proper vents so my fries were soggy from condensation. Also, my food was ready 15 minutes before the quoted time. So it wasn't the freshest when I picked it up. Then the person working the bar was more concerned with chatting than helping me figure out where to pick up the food.

Food was quite good! The chicken tenders were extremely large, and the sauce was very tasty as well. The bartender was also constantly checking to make sure my drink was full and double checking that I liked the food. A decent stop for lunch!

The food is okay and the service was quick. They have a vegan option which is pretty average. There is essentially no flavor on the inside of the vegan chicken strips but it is about what you’d expect from a vegan option at a chicken place. The sauces are too small to provide enough flavor for the wings. The fries are also strangely coated in cinnamon sugar. The fries tasted alright but it feels like that’s something that should be optional or at least advertised. The drinks were a bit over priced but not outrageous for downtown.

This place hit the spot; the ambiance and service was even better. 5 star experience. Get the Happy Chick Classic. It had me at bacon mac n cheese. And oh yeah, the chicken was great, too! Thank you Bree and Harrison!!

While I did enjoy my food the service was egregious. The young lady Leslie S who took my order had an attitude with me from the moment I sat down, to the point that it felt as if my presence was annoying her. I thought it may just be her having a bad day and it happens because we’re all human. But then I watched her coworkers be rude and snappy with a customer simply because they asked if the tv in front of them. The only employee here that wasn’t rude was the male server running out food. Would recommend ordering online for to go if you want to try eating here.

Don’t let the service scare you away. The food was worth the wait. Actually really good! We walked in and nobody was at the bar. 5 or so minutes later employees showed up (3 that sat around the computer talking) without acknowledging we were there waiting. We asked if we had to order through the on the table QR codes. They then, proceeded to take our order. After we asked for help service became quite a bit better. With a new person actually saving the day! When food showed up we changed our mind about the place. The food is really good! Absolutely worth the try. We did witness three other people come in and have to request help to order. One of the three groups actually left because they hadn’t been helped or even acknowledged. Hate to see a place with great food lose customers to a little bit of “customer service”.

First time trying Happy Chicks, I got the spicy chicken strips with fries and the Buffalo ranch for around $13. The spicy chicken strips were flavorful, spicy, and well seasoned. The fries were so good, and the seasoning on them was fantastic! Great food option, I will definitely come back. Nice bartender as well, she was really nice and answered any questions I had!

I had such high hopes for this meal...2 out of 5 Spicy Chicken had NO spice, Mac n Cheese had no cheese or cheese sauce(it was like yellow tinted elbow noodles) That Cheddar's croissant came in clutch
