Checked this venue out for the first tour stop for Andy Frasco and Little Stranger. Not bad has an upstairs area for viewing. Has a small floor viewing area in front of the stage. It is an open area so the weather and heat can be a factor. Mostly standing room only. Some seating upstairs. Also Austin has a noise ordance and open area venues live show ends at 11. Drinks were strong also so was this odor that u would get a whiff of, need to address that for patrons and I'm sure they will get it fixed. Not a bad place to catch a live show. The sound was good and Austin is fun to visit.

Haven't been to Mohawk in a long time up until Friday Dec 2nd 2022 for the Prof Concert. Was very impressed with the layout of the outdoor stage and setup they have with the floor and tiered 2nd and 3rd floor standing areas! Great sound throughout the venue. Definitely will be back for future shows!

Get here a little early and get on the upper 1st row. One of the best open air music venues in Austin. Staff was friendly and helpful. Solid drinks. We saw Thee Scared Souls and they crushed it. Love this place and this band.

Always love going to Mohawk to watch shows. The venue is outdoors so it can get hot or very cold. The place is intimate no matter where you stand. Not much sitting areas where you can view stage. It is also right in the center of downtown so so many other places to hop around to while you wait or finish your concert.

We went to Mohawk for our first concert in almost two years! We were a little anxious about being in super close proximity to people given COVID, but there is no top on this spot so it’s all outdoors. We felt comfy (and stoked to see live music) in there. Having artists as amazing as Anderson East come through certainly doesn’t hurt one bit, either!

It was awesome! Parking was free since it was after 6pm during the week. One of the bartenders was able to make virgin drinks and didn't charge us as much! It was so good there

Went to an outdoor show and I really liked the set up, still very intimate, but great possible sight lines from many places. But then it rained. And rained. For an hour. I was by the covered bar and we still got rained on, so check the forecast and bring appropriate gear based on that info. The sound was decent, staff were friendly.

Very enjoyable venue, drinks reasonably/average priced for a bar. It’s outside so it gets SO hot out there but with a concert + drinks does it matter? Definitely coming back.

Hopefully 3 stars doesn’t seem bad. This was a great little venue. It was a little small and there were some technical issues with the show, but I think it’s great for smaller bands. I wouldn’t say it’s anything special, but it’s not a bad venue at all. I would say it was overall a good experience.

We had never been to Mohawk's and have to say it was a pretty good venue. It helps when you see a free band that rocked! The vibe was pretty chill and the drinks were good.

this was my first time going to this venue and i Will definitely be on the lookout for an opportunity to come back. there is balcony space for anyone who is needing a lil break from the crowd and the staff did an excellent job of crowd control and keeping the pathways clear. it's a smaller venue, so it feels much more intimate and it has some awesome views of the skyline and the sky itself from the balcony space. highly recommend to anyone who is into the alternative music scene in Austin!

One of my favorite venues. I always enjoy this place for a show. The mini amphitheatre is a wonderful setting for fans.

We had such a blast seeing Moon Walker. The venue was easy to find and we were able to park right outside. They moved us to their indoor space on a cold night and it was perfect for the 3 bands we saw.

Had a great time. There was not a lot of side seating, and it felt a little oversold for the available space. Overall, we enjoyed the event/ concert. Bartenders at different counters charged differently for the same drink order. I'm not sure if this is normal practice or perhaps a mistake. I wasn't going to make a big deal out of a few extra bucks. Outdoor balcony space was very interesting and made for a fun experience.

Such a great, intimate venue. So very Austin too watch a show downtown under the stars. Get there early for a drink and get up front to the stage or jump upstairs for a great view and amazing sound.

Awesome outdoor venue that has an interesting layout. Finding a spot can be challenging if you show up late, but the sound is amazing and everywhere

Great bar/music venue to catch live bands. Pleastely surprised to see they have three levels with stairs. Good prices on drinks, and merxh. Would go back for sure!

What a great venue with multiple tiers. I had no idea how cool the place would be until we went this week. Outdoor show, temp wasn't too hot, slight breeze, and friendly people. Three bars and quick service. Fairly clean bathrooms as well. Well done.

We came here to check out DJ Jazzy Jeff. So much fun. I lived the vibe and the drinks were pretty good. Not very expensive but then again I'm from NY, I am use to paying $15 for a cocktail. Overall a great time!

If your favorite band's tour is making the Mohawk their Austin stop, you're in luck. In a city that is rapidly growing and changing, it remains a constant. The outdoor stage offers multiple, unique viewing opportunities. Tiered, bar tops on the second floor. Intimate floor section in front of the stage without feeling too overcrowded. If you're lucky enough to position yourself on the balcony overlooking the stage, you really feel like you're right there with the artist(s). Most of the best performances I've seen in Austin have been here. They also recently updated the bathrooms. Let me tell you, it was much needed. Highly recommend.

Awesome Venue, love the tiered viewing areas, makes it easy to find a place to see the show. Definitely recommend, bartenders were super friendly.

Intimate venue. Sits outside so bring a coat if it's cold. Would recommend putting a restroom somewhere upstairs as well, because it's a hard walk downstairs for a sold out show. Overall it was a nice experience. Required proof of vaccine but apparently that was on the tour/bands orders, not of the venue. Thankfully I found a picture of it because we came from Dallas.

Great sounding indoor/outdoor, multi-level venue. They do check Covid vaccination cards or negative Covid tests before entry.
