Nut
allergy
friendly,
just
inform
the
waitstaff.
They
were
very
understanding.
Went
with
family
rather
late
on
a
Saturday
(after
8PM)
and
was
promptly
seated
at
a
booth.
The
waitstaff
was
very
patient
with
my
parents,
who
had
a
lot
of
questions
about
the
specials.
We
ordered
wine,
a
mocktail
(virgin
mojito),
a
beer,
and
hot
water
with
lemon.
Interestingly,
the
drinks
did
not
come
out
until
after
our
appetizer
(the
calamari).
When
they
did,
the
lemon
was
forgotten
(and
in
fact
never
came)
and
the
wine
glass
was
forgotten
(quickly
remedied).
The
calamari
was
crispy
and
very
sharable.
My
pimento
cheeseburger
was
perfectly
cooked
and
messy
to
eat,
in
a
good
way!
My
partner
ordered
the
special
burger
which
was
also
enjoyed,
but
asked
for
truffle
fries
and
they
were
not
initially
served
(also
remedied
after
we
asked).
The
fish
and
chips
were
pretty
lacking.
A
lot
more
batter
than
fish,
though
it
was
flavorful.
I
wouldn't
get
the
truffle
fries
upgrade
again
after
trying
them.
The
truffle
sauce
is
very
salty
and
the
other
differences
are
a
sprinkle
of
Parmesan.
Overall,
decent
service
with
some
misses
that
were
reasonably
fixed.
$140
with
tax
and
tip
for
4
people.
I
paid
via
InKind
app
with
no
problems.
Last
note,
there
are
some
interesting
characters
at
the
bar
at
night.
One
gentleman
attempted
to
call
a
waitress
by
calling
out
"sweetheart"
which
I
couldn't
tell
if
it
was
demeaning
or
just
Southern.
Depends
how
much
you've
had
to
drink,
I
guess.
