Rules & Regs inside the Fairmont on the 7th floor by the pool has a great patio and view of downtown Austin. Went for drinks and snacks and enjoyed them all. The snack was salmon ceviche which was really good. I got it with tortilla chips which were much better than the chicharrones. Ceviche had great flavor and although it was pricey, I made a good choice. I also had to get the Mexican chocolate pavlova which is similar to a crunchy meringue. For my drink, I got the rebellious gecko which was very refresher. Server wasn’t too attentive but he was new. Very relaxing vibe here. I highly recommend it.

The view is amazing. Service is okay but F&B not so much. Went for dinner. Ambiance/decor was nice and restaurant clean. The service was decent. Marcus the waiter was very friendly and professional to both us and surrounding tables. (4 stars) As a place for F&B: Drinks were okay. Don't go hungry. Be prepared to pay a lot for VERY light bites. I unfortunately recognized one the dishes from a store brand jar of food and the chips may be Tostitos :-/ (1 star)

Cozy bar by the pool and a great view of Austin. The drinks were great. Next time we will have to order food.

Service was sub par but the food was yummy. Not sure if we just got a bad time or what but my experience here for brunch was painfully slow and disjointed but the food was delicious. Smaller portion sizes and a very limited brunch menu.

I’m not sure why the reviews for this place are so low. They must have replaced all of the rude staff because the hostess, server and bartenders were all courteous and responsive. We caught the tail end of happy hour and got the margarita special. The waiter made sure we were able to get one last order in before it ended. We went to the bar for shots and another drink. Both bartenders were personable and friendly. We didn’t try the food so can’t speak on that. Views were amazing. Will come back!

We went there for a drink with work colleagues, I was not a huge fan of the cocktails or the vibe. If some wanted to go again I would go, but have no plans to go back. The food seemed ok, but I am not a cucumber fan and most of the dishes that we got had them so I did not try them or is my rating based on the food in any way.

Drinks were great. Food was decent. Service was sub-par. All the servers and bartenders congregate in the same place and you have to seek them out to get service even when the bar isn’t busy.

So your prolly wondering why there's a photo of just chips. I had the R&R Burger. #Epic... But I got here, place looks nice, but they took FOREVER to order our food. THEN CAME BACK AND GOT OUR DRINK!!!!! Why four stars? We finally got out food. Everyone loved it after complaining about waiting FOREVER for the food to actually. The server comp our bill for the experience. To me, that's service. I definitely recommend because I'm sure, it was just today.

Good place to go have a drink with your friends. I had an espresso martini and it was fantastic! I went on Saturday and they had live music.

Food was excellent, as was service. Seating on couch was a little uncomfortable, and had requested outdoors. Went for brunch, chilaquiles were good as was the French toast and fresh fruit.

I personally have not yet been to this establishment and after reviewing all of these reviews will most definitely NOT be going! I find it amazing that they are even able to remain open considering all the negativity. There is nothing I hate more than rude/nasty/obnoxious servers on an upscale restaurant! It takes a special person to deal with the public as a whole. It also takes a lot of balls to have the server add his/her own gratuity to the check (unless it is a large party)! The views are amazing looking but you can get that for free, haha.

We hosted a meetup event here. Great place, nice, accommodating, all around great experience, little pricey, but hey it's a rooftop bar!

Overall, I had a really good experience here. I was here on a Monday around noon (4/17/23?). The bartenders weren't very friendly, and I think they charged me double for a rocks pour (not an industry standard), but the servers at the loungers at the pool were fantastic! Pro tip: if you don't have any restrictions with ingredients, going with the signature cocktails at any given place are always going to get you more bang for your buck (but plan on spending a nice amount when you come here). They seem to have a pretty good cocktail program going on here, too. Being a Monday around noon in April, it was not crowded at all, and the atmosphere was fantastic! They do private events and buyouts here, too, as I stayed up until it was time for them to close to the public, for this.

Hostess was pleasant and when I arrived for a drink with no reservation seated me on the patio with a lovely view. However it was a little cold as no heat lamps so moved inside. Inside has such lovely festive decor as a holiday pop up bar and great Christmas music. It really was a festive, fun atmosphere. Service was a little slow but my waitress Ava was lovely and friendly. Really enjoyed a happy hour holiday cocktail here and it really got me in the Christmas mood. Lovely place to go alone or with others for a festive drink, I would love to return and would definitely reccomend.
