They give you written instructions. That’s it. No help. Also, the people who work there barely know how to do the projects well enough to provide any guidance or give you the right materials. Also poor lighting. No one tells you that you should probably bring your bifocals or magnifying glass to make the jewelry crafts. More stressful than fun.

I had such a nice evening at Upstairs Circus on my birthday! The overall vibe of the space is chill and the instructors were so nice and attentive. Nothing but positive things to say about this place, I high recommend trying it out. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a company team builder here. As a non crafty person, I wasn’t expecting a lot. I was pleasantly surprised and had a fantastic time! I would highly recommend as a #teambuilder or an event with friends. It didn’t hurt that they served an above average Old Fashion. The space was clean, drinks were on point, the food was tasty, and they had various choices of crafts, and service was fantastic - shoutout to Ciara and Damien who were very helpful throughout our experience! As for my choice of craft, I customized a Fedora… just don’t judge them on my results :-D Parking: the lot at 3rd and Colorado was perfect!

Our company rented out the entire venue for our company event and absolutely loved it! Everyone was so happy with their projects and loved the fun drinks that were served. Karin was really easy to work with and had great suggestions for catering and music choice! We will definitely be back.

I have to say that this place is an okay place. The decor is amazing but service sucks they don’t come and check up on you to see if you anything else and when you get you project to do they don’t over instructions they just give you a instructions list and good luck to you if your project comes out nice. I did the bar necklace and no help at at I had to get up ask for several things and I been to similar place and they were helpful right there every step of the way. Here is like your on your own. I would not recommend to come here if you expect an experienced like painted with a twisted or Paint and borders.

Overall I was underwhelmed by my experience here. From the start there was a lack of hospitality and customer service from the employees. We were rushed to pick a project and felt a general lack of care. Unfortunately they were also not serving popcorn that day and were out of three of their craft options.

We came here for a bachelorette party and it was a great experience. The range of crafting allowed enables anyone to make something they really love and allows you to pick a desired skill level. The mimosas are delicious and all you can drink, when you’re too involved in your craft to get one the staff even come around to offer more. All the materials felt really high quality so it’s good value for money. The staff here are exceptional and very helpful, they made our experience truly memorable with all the help they offered. They were fully invested in us being able to have a good time. I would recommend that anyone try this for crafts or something different. My only wish is that it was actually ‘upstairs’ because the location being in the middle of downtown would have had some incredible views!

We went for a bachelorette weekend and had lots of fun. We were able to create something fun and enjoy time together at the same time. It does get a bit crowded and the tables have limited space. They do provide you with detailed instructions (photos included) and all the supplies to do it. We did have gratuity added to our ticket even tho we were only ever helped once with our projects. (Explanation at the beginning) We were there for bottomless mimosas, and they were delicious. They provide water for free as well. All in all, we had a blast and I would go back for sure!

This was a highlight of our Austin trip. The drinks were great and the crafting was fun. Also a great playlist. Definitely recommend making a stop here. Book a reservation

The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. The projects are all so cool and creative. The cocktails are on point as well…the Coco Contortionist is my favorite. We did a leather cuff and RBG painting. It’s so much fun.

My besties took me here for my 40th birthday! They know I love to craft so this was awesome! I had a fun time and there are so many different projects to choose from. I ended up making a wrap bracelet while my friends made a difference bracelet and a necklace. My biggest piece of advice is don't forget to pay for parking because they are strict around their 😂. Lesson learned 😉

They bring you a menu from the restaurant next door to offer food. We got some pizza with pears on it and man, I was not expecting in to taste that good! There were so many crafts to choose from! Justice was the bartender and went above and beyond! Even making a complimentary drink for my friend since it was her birthday and it was SO GOOD! The drinks from the bar were great! Definitely coming back again!

This is such a fun place to get your creative juices flowing! All the items available for creating cost the same, which makes the options even more exciting. All the crafts have step-by-stwp instructions, so you don't have to be crafty to have fun. There is a bar available, so you can get a drink in while you work. The staff is super friendly and helpful, which is always appreciated. I definitely recommend a visit! Bonus: you can make an appointment, but walk-ins are available sometimes as well.

Was a fun time for a company team building event of 40 people. Both the men and women had a great time!!! Normandie is amazing and so accommodating! We will definitely be back!

This place was awesome!! The staff was really great at helping us or answering questions if we needed. I don’t know who came up with an event space to drink alcohol and do arts and crafts, but I’m so glad they did! 😂 I did the string art, and it took me about 2.5 hours!

This is a real cool place to hangout especially if you have a date , you will have to plan ahead as this place is not always open to the general public

We went on a Sunday for their bottomless mimosas while you craft. I made string art and had so much fun with it! The staff is really helpful if you get stuck on any part of the project, and there are so many options to choose from that everyone can find something to do!

Such a fun time! Been here twice and it was a blast both times. A great variety of crafts from easy to hard, and the bar has fantastic cocktails. The staff are wonderful and helped us figure out the right crafts for our group. Will definitely be back again -- a nice and easy night out.

Can I just tell ya'll Normandy is amazing. I started the night calling her best friend and legit within 15 min she lived up to the title. I have never seen the hospitality like she gave. We had so much fun. I loved it and will continuously recommend this place.

Fun and unique spot. Did a company event here and it was great because it offered so many choices for a group. The crafts are fun, some more so than other, but there really is something for everyone. Getting our projects was fairly slow and they didn’t have some, but once we got to crafting we had a great time. Was only about 1/2 full mid week when we attended. Mask encouraged, but not required.

Super cool place to make crafts or paint, drink and socialize! Was my first time ever painting and they helped along the way. Very friendly staff with 2 cute dogs that walk around. Would love to go again :)

Compared to other craft experiences I've had, this was disappointing. The instruction sheets were poorly lacking the details that would have made the process easier to follow & made for a frustrating experience. They should consider a "coach" who would be assigned to your party to provide insights and guidance without having to go look for anyone who might help. Staff was friendly though.

It was kinda fun, but the suggested crafting time for projects is a little off. Some took a lot longer than they said they would. I would recommend it but you need to be very particular in the craft you choose unless you have a good amount of time to spare...
