Walked in and was greeted by a royal telephone box. The kitchen is a blue police box replica. Lots of great seating in the back room and a nice pool table as well. Dart boards are, of course, available in the back up the short stairway. The food is delicious and reasonable. Good beer on tap. Full bar. The owner and bar tender are fabulous, fun and full of good cheer! Help keep an Austin traditional pub happy and healthy and come and try it out. Right next to Common Interests.

Hands down the BEST pub/bar in Austin! 👏 I can't rave about this place enough! The atmosphere was cozy and decorated in true brit style. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They checked on our table often and had fantastic knowledge of the drinks and food. Speaking of food... damn. We had the bangers and mash and fish chips. I'm gonna try not to cry as I type. The fish & chips were flaky and crispy and had the most incredible amount of seasoning you could ask for. The bangers and mash filled the room with a savory grilled scent that you wish would be sold as perfume. Their in-house onion gravy recipe is something I hope they leave in their will for me to have. We got a cranberry vodka w/ Sprite & a fruity vodka drink that had orange juice and other ingredients. Both to die for! They were perfectly blended and great for people who need the alcohol taste hidden. We will definitely return again & again. Thank you!

This is hands down the best bar I’ve ever chilled in! The atmosphere reminds you of ‘Cheers.’ I love this place. The bartender Thomas is such an angel. He will learn your name and address you as such every time you visit the bar. The food is PHENOMENAL and the margaritas remind me of Pappasitos’s drinks. They’re the best in the city! Stop by here after a long day of work. You won’t be disappointed or bored. The TVs are always showing games and classic retro movies. Not convinced after reading all of this? Then you’re the problem 😄

Man, where do I begin? Top shelf options, with a sprinkle or English and Irish decent. Not too bad on pricing. 1 pool table and kitchen goes till midnight. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys a niche/noche environment for our service industry persons. ❤

This is a great English pub/restaurant! The fish n chips were fantastic. Nice n crispy on the outside, tender and delish inside. The seasoned waffle fries were good too. They come in 2 or 3 peice. I'm a big guy and I made 2 large meals out of a 3 peice fish n chips. The bar tender was very nice, quick, and knew how to make a good martini. Ontop They have a full bar with good beer on draft. There was a decent size bar or tables if you prefer and the place is surrounded in English pub style decor. There is also an area to play darts in the back. I will def return and update this with the dishes i recommend. Great first impression!

There was a a couple of beers on tap that I wouldn't mind having a pint of, and that says a lot. The Irish stew was incredible and I will be going back just for that. The steak was really good too, although for the price it had better have been. The inside was well designed and felt comforting. The outside was really nice and had a huge outside area to just relax or play some corn hole. Why didn't I give it 5 stars? I don't know but when I go back and everything is how I remembered it and the beers are just as tasty then I will post some pics and probably update my review.

Great atmosphere with an excellent selection of beers. Limited menu but my bangers and mash was terrific. Not exactly authentic - the quality of the sausage was too good. Tremendous service even when it started to get busy which was pretty early

Go in and see Charlie, he is amazing. They make you feel wanted. They engage you conversation, just awesome. A friend has his horror group there, and they always accommodate them. I'm looking forward to trying a smash 🍔

I went there around 10:30 and they still served their full menu and have a late night menu served from 11pm to 1am. The service was great and food too!

I love this place so much! I'm a native Austinite and it brings me back home, which Austin is severely lacking in homey-ness these days. Food is good, drinks are reasonable, and the staff/clientele are amazing! If you're looking for a comfortable place to hang, watch the game, play pool/darts, you've found it!

We had some on tap beers and fish and chips. It was good! They have a full menu of sandwiches and some Indian cuisine, full bar too. Friendly neighborhood bar and grill.

Low key easy going place with friendly welcoming staff to grab a drink and a bite to eat. Shepards Pie is decent, wings are OK and are priced accordingly for the quality and quantity served. Pool table, darts and TV's are available to keep you entertained. Music is not turned up to 11 so you can carry on a conversation with ease. Indoor and outdoor seating, ample parking at an easy in easy out location makes this place a good fit for a break from the madness.

Really good food, very kind and friendly people running the place. As the other reviews state, the fish and chips are excellent, and the fries are old-school, tasty, and well-seasoned. They're open pretty late and they have a good selection of beverages. Thank you for a fun date night!

A nice little gem with British food in the middle of Austin, who knew? We got fish and chips, salad, and drinks. The fish and chips were perfectly fried, with a crisp outside and tender inside. Service was excellent and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely come back.

Guys, This place is most awesome! It is a very nice British style pub. I have had several food items and they are all great! My favorite is the bacon mac-n-cheese and chipotle chicken sandwich! The even have a pub menu for after midnight! For those like me who tend to get hungry and a few late night drinks... This after hours menu consists of mini corn dogs, fried pickles, fried cheese sticks, etc. I know it sounds basic but, they taste so yummy! The atmosphere of this place is fantastic! Great people in front and behind the bar. No one is treated like a stranger. Great group of people. The drinks are not overly priced and tasty! you gotta check it out!

The bartender (Thomas?) had some sort of ego deficiency which ruined the visit. When I asked for a hazy beer he said "we have jelly fish" and I said "cool I didn't see that on tap" . And he said "uh yeah, it says jellyfish... ". And I thought, that was rude, but let it go. I went back later and looked at the taps and saw that I was correct, it did not say jellyfish anywhere. I brang it to the rude bartenders attention and he said "sorry I messed up" which was respectable, till he said "it says beer, drink it" so I walked away. He then tried to overcharge me at the end of the night, which I had corrected with much push back. Overall it was a terrible experience due to that silly bartender.

Great little place if you like smaller bars. Not your typical here one day gone the next Austin Bar. This place has a ambiance about it that is inviting and the staff was friendly and helpful. 10/10 would go again!

Chill hangout spot and very friendly staff! If you are looking for authentic cuisine, this is not the spot for that. This might partly due to fact that we are not by the ocean, so fish isn’t a good as it could be. Food presentation is Instagram worthy and good portion sizes.

Great staff. Really nice neighborhood pub. Pub grub is good...I tried the mini corn dogs and waffle fries. They were tasty. If you love football...and I mean soccer, and you want a fun place to watch games...great crowd for that!

I always have so much fun and I love everything on the menu. Shep pie my fave with the drizzle of medium wing sauce and strips of bacon.

The fish and chips was absolutely bonkers. Huge slabs of perfectly fried chunks of fish. Salty, juicy, flavorful, and not like overbearingly coated with batter. Those waffle fries were seasoned like old school curly fries too. Just absolutely amazing eats. I'll be back!
