The
food
was
divine,
and
overall
Lonesome
Dove
was
a
pleasant
surprise.
We
had
a
late
reservation
Saturday
night
during
Memorial
Day
weekend,
so
surprisingly
slow.
The
ambiance
is
warm
and
comfortable,
with
classic
country
music
playing
softly
in
the
background
and
an
authentic
Texas
interior
decor,
with
dark
colors
and
rustic
touches.
The
service
was
good,
staff
was
knowledgeable
and
attentive.
Now
to
the
food,
we
started
with
the
blue
corn
lobster
hushpuppies
and
butter
lettuce
salad
with
red
chili
buttermilk
vinaigrette,
both
very
good!
For
entrees
we
had
the
signature
dish
which
is
the
roasted
garlic
stuffed
beef
tenderloin
and
rack
of
lamb,
both
were
on
point!
My
favorite
was
the
LD
Mac
&
Cheese
with
fried
artichoke
hearts,
unbelievable,
mind
blown!
The
burnt
carrot
side
with
Texas
honey,
Meyer
lemon
and
goat
cheese
was
also
really
good.
I
heard
the
chef
Tim
Love
had
previously
won
Iron
Chef,
no
surprise.
Tasty
spot,
definitely
recommend,
check
these
guys
out!
