I live a few hours away, but I will definitely make it back to this place! We had the soft shell crab special, rocotto coctel, pescado Luisa, and pollo a la brasa. Add in a few cocktails, the chocolate cake dessert (and seriously, get it with the ice cream it comes with, it pairs SO well!), and pork cracklins, and you've got yourself a wonderful birthday dinner! Our server was fantastic, too. I wish I remembered his name! I think it was the manager who had come out to make sure everything was good, and she went out of her way to make our experience special. Lovely patio, fans to keep the area cool, candles for atmosphere... Really. Everything was just right. We were dressed casually, but had an upscale dining experience. I look forward to our return!

New favorite spot on Manor! Yuyo has incredibly delicious Peruvian food that will be appealing to even the pickiest of eaters. The happy hour is the real star here, everyday 4:30-6:30, small plates, cocktails, and wine are all under $10. The inside is beautiful and inviting, plus the staff are so friendly and kind. Can't wait for warmer weather so I can enjoy their happy hour out of their huge patio!

I've never had Peruvian cuisine, but let me tell ya, I will definitely be back for more! I came for brunch and this place was so warm and welcoming. The decor was so charming. I was able to sample a variety of brunch options and I was not dissapointed by any of them! They were all so fresh, fun and flavorful! But my favorite out of all the ones I tried were the SALCHIPAPAS which was a variety of sausage with potatoes and was just made my pallet dance! As for drinks, the Mimosa was to die for. It was made with fresh pressed orange juice and was just so heavenly to drink. The coffee was also a treat as it was pleasantly smooth and not overbearing. The chef, Maribel Rivero came out to give us some insight on the courses and practically everything was full of antioxidants and nutrition rich. After sampling everything, I was extremely satisfied and energized! I would highly recommend you give this place a try, add it to your, "must try" list!

Great food! Service was good too. Atmosphere nice. Wish there was more parking. Had to park across a few streets and walk.

Brunch was phenomenal here. Their corn pancakes and chicken and potato dish blew us away. Friendly staff and a beautiful spot. We arrived at 11am on a Sunday and there were still only a few tables when we left at 12.

Went on a Sunday for an early dinner so I could take my time and it was a wonderful meal served beautifully by a friendly and knowledgeable staff! Flavors were perfectly matched and I will be going back regularly so that I can work / eat my way through the entire menu. It’s great to see / taste the Peruvian flavors here in Austin. Good luck to you Yuyo!

Being south American I can attest that the flavors are not just delicious and rich but also very authentic. Tasted the Churrasco, the chicken and the alfajores. All excellent and generous portions.

I was super impressed with my brunch here this weekend. The space is comfortable and the service was flawless. The food was excellent and the brunch cocktails are very reasonably priced. I can’t wait to come here again to try the full menu! - 5 star Update: I came back during happy hour and was completely underwhelmed. The appetizers were very small, expensive and around the same price as the regular menus of similar restaurants. The calamari was just okay but the empanadas (which the server recommended) were bad, they had no texture and no taste and overall were extremely disappointing. The cocktails were good though. - 3 star

Yuyo was a singular dining experience. I was promptly seated for my reservation and continued to be waited on with care and enthusiasm. I decided I didn't care for a drink that I ordered and the staff respectfully gave me a replacement and a discount on the original beverage. The ceviche was top-notch. While I was impressed with the diverse offerings, my favorite was the traditional ceviche. The menu has inventive options with reasonable prices for the portion sizes. Normally I can spend $100 on upscale dining and leave just full enough, but I couldn't even finish my entree after sharing ceviche and two appetizers with my friend. I will definitely be returning to try other plates and enjoy the cozy, customer-friendly atmosphere.

This place is absolutely delicious! Go! Started with the empanadas. Main course I had the Pollo a la Brasa. Chicken was perfectly cooked, moist and loaded with flavor. Potatoes that accompanied the chicken were crisp on the outside, soft in the inside...perfect wedge! Ended the meal with the lucuma sundae. Everything was extremely flavorful and well presented. Staff is super friendly, nice group of people. Do yourself a try it out!

Un frickin ' believable!!!!!! I really don't even know what to say or how to describe this it's one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my entire life!!! So awesome and so delicious!! Our servers (One in training who will be a bartender (and sadly I do not remember her name) and Han (short for Meaghan) with lots of experience , we're absolutely incredible and I asked Han's assistance for recommendations with every step of our meal as we ordered ...and she did not steer us wrong, not one time. We had a lot of food it was all impeccable!!!! We started with several appetizers and the Pisco punch which were on the happy hour menu. (check it out online they have a lot of options!) Everything was stellar. We had three starters which were more than plenty to share between the two of us. My grandson and I shared them as we are foodies and we like to try everything. Beef Anticuchos= beef heart that was marinated and grilled on a skewer was absolutely delicious, so tender just the right amount of spice!!! It was pounded thin and woven onto the skewers-very unique cooking style for an organ meat! Yuquitas= yucca and farmer cheese -fried delectable bundles of deliciousness - were also awesome and the fresh pepper salsa diced tiny was really good. I didn't think it bland at all just warm, crispy, cheesy deliciousness!!! Causa Nacional=purple potato wrapped around s nice shredded chicken spiced delicately but deliciously was also just fabulous! Plated to be an audible work of art. (sorry our Uber arrived and I had to close this before it was finished so I'm going to finish it up.) For our Entrees -and honestly the above could have been dinner! But they just sounded too good to pass up. Stephen chose the Chanchito. An abundance of pork chunks -and I mean large- perfectly juicy and tender- moderately spicy - atop a bed of garlic mashed yucca, a huge crispy chicharron completed the plate. I tasted a small bite -deeelish! I told Han we had intended to order a Cebiche-And how would she suggest we work that in. She asked if anyone was going to order the Jalea Royal which is crispy gulf drum / calamari / shrimp / yuca fries / encurtido aioli / salsas criolla, (crazy but that was my choice) and said that many people actually order a ceviche to complement it. The Cebiche Mixte -was my choice-(and plenty to share with Stephen) and the acidity would be a perfect foil for the light fry of my entrée. Look at what they pack in the Cebiche Mixto= striped bass / octopus / shrimp / leche de tigre / ají limo / yuyo / micro cilantro. As an aside one of our appetizers had micro- celery that was grown on site, and we suspect the micro cilantro might also be grown on site but neglected to ask. It's only a true commitment as a foodie and a yelper drove us to order dessert. (I must also mention that my grandson took home a huge bag of food both his and my entrées supplied more than enough for one meal-And since he's the starving-college student, I offered mine up to him too.) Anyhow-we opted for two items. (Another Han Home Run) the WOW Cacao Cake and the Picarones. I also ordered a Peruvian coffee which is coffee beans sourced from Peru-brewed drip style. Picarones=sweet potato doughnuts / powdered sugar / chancaca syrup Wow Cacao=dark chocolate cake / dulce de leche cream / ganache / maracuyá ice cream . This was a very special treat for a very special grandsons 23rd birthday I am so grateful we have the relationship that we do and that despite the years difference in age we get along great and have a really fun time exploring food, regardless of if it's a dive or a very nice upscale restaurant like Yuyo! I'm going to photograph our receipt, it's very unusual for us to imbibe ....however since we decided to take an Uber we both indulged so please be aware that $50 of this bill which is hefty for us was alcohol. If you look at the food options and if you could see the portions, smell the delicious aromas and actually taste how good this food was it was totally worth it!!!!! Check Yuyo's Peruvian café out-you won't be sorry!!!
