This is an awesome place for late night hangout. The vibe and food is amazing. Loved everything we ordered - wings, rice cakes, ramen and cheesy corn. The service was quick despite the rush. The staff is really wonderful and very welcoming. Yes, there is a huge wait even with a reservation but its totally worth it. Will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu

Absolutely phenomenal! Finally had a chance to visit this place and can say with certainty it is worth the hype. I arrived a few minutes after it opened on a Thursday and the place was almost completely full. Great atmosphere for a casual outing with friends. The pork belly and octopus entree was terrific and can easily be shared among four people. For my rice plate I ordered the beef bulgogi which was very juicy and flavorful. Overall, I would highly recommend Seoulju!

Seoulju is a nice spot for meeting friends and trying Korean comfort food. We ordered the Corn Cheese, Beef Bulgogi, and Fried Chicken Thigh Nuggets. I particularly enjoyed the way they served the cheese in a pan, which kept the corn hot for a long period of time. It was a good appetizer and paired well with their fried chicken. The chicken itself was crispy and perfectly coated with sauce and sesame. Overall, the food quality was good, although nothing extraordinary.

This place was amazing. My husband and I went here for dinner when we visited the city. The ambience was relaxing and the lighting was dim. They had K-pop on various TV screens throughout the restaurant. Ordering was easy; we ordered through our phones and the servers brought out our food and drinks. The fried chicken was really good, nice and crispy. The beef bulgogi could have been more juicy though. The staff members were attentive and courteous. I would definitely recommend Seoulju for an enjoyable date night or an outing with friends.

Maaaan, it's been so long since I've reviewed a place, but this place got it. Food; stellar! Atmosphere; bangin'! Service; top notch! But really, you can tell the owner cares about his business. I watched him personally seat every table and introduce himself. His menu says he automatically adds gratuity to make sure his guys get paid. He hangs out and waits on tables and makes sure he's available to answer questions. If you're gonna spend your dollar, it should be here and places like it. Plus, the food was mad good, no cap. The chicken was crispy and the chili sauce was sweet and spicy. The dumplings were incredibly crispy and savory. I was even surprised by how great the bulgogi was.

It’s my second time here, and it’s just a stable to bring your friends. It has a great atmosphere and drinks. Most of their food are meant to be shared. I love their service especially Paul! I always recommend corn cheese, dumplings, the chicken nuggets, and the octopus and pork. I add noodles to the octopus and pork dishes. My favorite dish here. The chicken nuggets comes with many different flavor options, so you can choose. The portion is a bit small on that one though. They get pack super quick, so it is best to join the waitlist ahead of time. There is an automatic 20% gratuity. It’s on the QR code when you scan to order if you decide to use it. They also have the normal bell to ring if you want the waiter to come and get your order.

Good atmosphere, popular place, we arrived just after open on a Friday and within 15 mins there was a 1 hour wait. Kpop videos play on multiple screens. Tab payment and ordering is done through a web app called Toast Order and Pay, 20 percent gratuity is already added to your bill but you can also tip, just be aware it's already included. Most menu items have options to adjust heat and add extras like egg or remove things like onions. Owner induced himself and explained their ordering system and it was easy. Staff came by to check in and deliver food and were friendly. Not everything came to our table all at once but that gives the opportunity to share items. Seems like a great jumping off venue for an evening out with friends and since the tab is app based you can add items or drinks and then close it, pay, and leave whenever you like.

Seoulju has my soul!! The best food I’ve had in a long time! The wings are spectacular and very flavorful. And the kimchi fried rice, wow! The egg and pork belly in the kimchi fried rice is a must! The military hot pot was also a nice contrast to the other dishes we ordered. The soup and tofu go very well with the fried rice. Seoulju also has a karaoke room. And service was good too! If you’re going during busy hours, join the Yelp line in advance and hopefully the wait won’t be too long

Absolutely delicious and highly recommend their kimchi bulgogi fries. The military hotpot might be the unhealthy cheat spurge if you are in the mood for it. Set your expectations about the service - it is crowded and understaffed as every other place. They have a QR code for the menu, ordering and payment which is convenient, look for the mandatory added gratuity (20%) regardless of group size.

The owner, John, was a very nice man. Ordering was nice and simple as it is an open tab through a website. The food tasted pretty good as well. The kimchi fries are a must! I would definitely go back for sure but I would make sure to go on a night that there is karaoke. Only issue we faced was that one of our orders had a “glitch” and it took over 25 minutes for it to be realized.

John, the owner, was so incredible from the start. He welcomed a 7 group party at 10:45 with open arms and gave us a lovely introduction. The environment was so friendly including meeting the owners little brother and other amazing staff. We were so well accommodated with the high quality service. The food came out so great and even included so delicious bonus items! The music was great, facility was clean, and our plates were empty! We simply didn’t want to leave the restaurant after the delicious military hot pot! I left my wallet at the store and contacted the Instagram which I got an immediate reply at 1am! John helped me out and was so kind and forgiving. He even allowed me to come pick it up without me feeling like an inconvenience! Definitely would come again! I love the SEOULJU FAMILY!

If you’re looking for delicious Korean food, you have to visit Seoulju. The service here is amazing, especially Paul, he treated us like family and gave us great recommendations! The kimchi pancake is delicious and the corn + nuggets combo just switches up the food game in an amazing way! Every drink is beautifully made, but I always try to get a house recommendation for the best flavors.

Severs were very friendly and attentive. Very welcoming atmosphere. They have karaoke here as well. May come back and reserve with them to try it out. I would not get the military hot pot again though. Me and my friend has some stomach issues the day after. Perhaps it was too much for us. We got the house made soju. Strawberry cheesecake and it was very good. Wasn’t strong but we both loved it very much. We may come back just for drinks and small bites.

Really great late night eatery. We had a short wait before being seated (at 10 pm on a Friday night). John was a warm and welcoming host. Super easy to place your order on your mobile device via Toast. All the food was great.

I LOVE this place so much. After eating Korean food for 20 + years I’m glad to have this place in Austin. They definitely have the best KFC hands down in addition to several classics and innovative dishes. I’m pleasantly surprised with how good the kimchi and seafood pajeon taste. It’s a family owned restaurant and you can feel the warm hospitality come through. Great place to bring friends and enjoy some soju and amazing Korean food variety.

Food was hot and tasty. We ordered the Thigh Nuggets, Kimmari, Spicy Rice Cakes, and the “Whole Bird.” The whole bird was definitely my favorite. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Was pretty busy on a Friday night.

I've been here a couple times now. Most recent visit was a Wednesday night when it was just the owner and 1 other guy working front of house. The owner talked to us, took our order, recommended some mixed soju drinks, and even took a shot with our table. The liquor filled boba is quite a cool treat. Very nice person. Food was great. We got kimchi fried rice, corn cheese, pork and octopus, and soy garlic chicken nuggets. All great food. Highly recommend.

Very good! It was our first time visiting. They use Toast Tab, which I always think it's a little strange, but it is convenient. We had the chicken nuggets with corn/cheese fondue and an appetizer and it was a tasty combo. It is also plenty of food to share, so be cautious with your ordering. The house mix citrus pear soju was delicious. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Always wanted to try out this place, and I’m glad I did! Not only do they serve regular brand soju, but they also have their homemade soju. It was really smooth and tasted good! The spicy rice cakes and army stew are delicious! Big portions. Had great service, and the owner seemed truly genuine and cared about his guests when he came check up on us. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing staff, “feel like one of the family” type environment, excellent-authentic taste of Korean food, awesome Soju mixed drinks and other cocktails. Karaoke room is also a great time with friends and family! K-pop on the whole time, on multiple TVs! It’s just great food, great people and just a great time! Couldn’t ask for a better combo of food, drinks and people!
