It's one of the places where you don't have to feel as guilty about eating out. Really fresh ingredients and nutritious. The ancient grains bowl was Soo delicious and flavorful, mix of different texture! Highly recommend if you're vegan to get it. They have rotating seasonal menus, so you can come back another time to try out their new dishes next season. Servers are very friendly. Good vibes.

The Good earth kale Cobb salad and the charred cauliflower was so delicious the best things we ordered. The drinks were good but not sweet at all very refreshing. The hummus needed a little more flavor less cumin but still good.

True Food Kitchen downtown Austin is great, better than the one in the Domain, I’d say. They have a nice patio and that’s where we sat for brunch. Tyler did a great job with our large party. The food has great flavor and is fresh. My go to has been the pizza. I want to try the bone broth chicken noodle soup next time. Go check it out!!

TFK is a nice and convenient place for lunch or happy hour. The food and service were both great. The burger is especially tasty here and there’s plenty of outdoor seating too.

It was very delicious and the service was great. I have been to a True Food Kitchen in California and I loved this location more. The portions were much bigger than the one in California and the atmosphere was much better. I had the curry and my partner had the chicken parm. Both were amazing. Would definitely come again.

Absolutely delightful. Our waitress Nadia gave us good recommendations and great service! Food was exceptionally healthy and delicious too. The double veggie burger was outstanding. The other standout was the squash pie with coconut whipped topping (see picture). The squash pizza was great, as was the ancient grains bowl. Good drinks too! Limited beer selection but the Dogfish Head IPA was good!

Had a great dinner here the other evening with dear friends. I totally recommend the Ancient Grains bowl. If you're a brussel sprouts person, their appetizer is really good too. The customer service was great if you eat like an American (which I am). That means you want service and you want it NOW. Our server was super nice, but he was always there. I think he was too afraid of not giving good service, and had a hard time seeing we actually were not in a hurry, and wanted to take our time. Food prep time was prompt, and delicious. For dessert I had the chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream. It was really good too, and healthy. :-) As far as atmosphere, I liked the airy feel, and the spaciousness of the inside, matching organic, healthy foods with decor. My challenge was the noise levels inside. Maybe I am getting old, ok that's always true, but being able to hear my friends was a challenge and really important when dining out. Not sure how they can absorb a little of those bouncing sounds, but would be a plus! I definitely wouldn't be scheduling a business meeting there. Overall, great food, clean and good vibe.

Not busy, clean and cool modern look, comfy 1-sided booth. I ordered the Korean noodle boy- gluten free because noodles are made of sweet potatoes. It is just a tad spicy which was perfect for me. Flavors are rich. My mouth was in shock with all the flavors infused into the mushroom I first tasted. Wow! Lots of vegan and gluten free options. My bowl was $14.50 + $4.00 for tofu. A little pricey for me, but delicious.

This butternut squash pizza was EXCELLENT!!! The food at this restaurant was so fresh and flavorful. We also had the roasted Brussel sprouts and they were DELICIOUS! My son had the grass-fed burger and a kale salad. Although I don't eat meat, that burger looked and smelled good. I was truly happy with my food and the experience at this restaurant. Our waitress Lilly was amazing and she gave us a scoop of vanilla ice cream to try as 1st time guests. Ice cream- BOMB! Would definitely recommend this restaurant. I was visiting from out of town but my son who lives in Austin said that that was THE BEST grass-fed burger he ever had and he would definitely be returning there to dine again.

Nice and cozy place to get some healthy-organic foods. Came here with some friends and all of us enjoyed it. To drink I got a black coffee which was very good, as well as the Sparkling Apricot Tea that was veeery refreshing. One of my folks ordered the Matcha Horchata which I tried a bit and it was extremely good as well. To eat I got the Korean Noodle Bowl with a double portion of Tofu additionally, the flavor was very good and all the ingredients tasted very fresh. Prices are very accessible. I liked the fact that they offer options for any type of dietary restriction, like vegetarian, vegan, gluten free or even omnivore diet. The service was fast. I will definitely come back to this place.

Love, love, love everything we've had at this restaurant! We were so happy to be able to set a reservation pickup for this glorious squash pie, it's thee absolute best one we've ever had, we topped it with their yummy coconut whipped cream! This pie was one of the major highlights of our holiday meal! The service at this restaurant is always incredible, I've never come across anyone that was rude or not helpful. Ww truly always have a lovely experience here; so grateful that they offer curbside and are remaining compliant during this unprecedented time.

One thing to note: they have gluten-free options for those who need it! So this was my first time at True Food and I was impressed. They are taking covid measures seriously: tables socially distanced, sanitizers, staff wears masks and you can even do contactless ordering! It was a nice Austin day so we sat outside. Alexis, our waitress was great—very professional and helpful. But the other waitress that stopped by our table was also very pleasant. Food: I got the Grass fed burger which has onions, mushrooms and arugula but i also added an egg. For my side I got the sweet potato hash. Let me tell you... I have no complaints! Everything was wonderful... like nothing left on my plate :) Also Alcohol on deck... we just had sparkling so i can’t speak to the cocktails! I will definitely go back and back again‼️

Service was friendly and attentive. Cocktails were on point. Appetizers were amazing. Definitely try the hummus it's so flavorful! My burger was cooked PERFECTLY and dessert hit the spot. The ambiance was inviting and even my three year old loved the food.

My partner and I had our dinner date at True Foods yesterday and it was such a nice evening. Nadia was the sweetest server as well as the most efficient server we had encountered in awhile. She recommended our choices for appetizer and entrees and the food was delicious! Thank you Nadia. 🤩

Loved this place, the healthy and delicious food and the cocktails. We shared the herb hummus, butternut squash pizza, a kale bowl and a burger, everything was delicious. Ah! the squash pie for dessert was just perfect. Mitchel, the chef, was very helpful and friendly, thank you!

I absolutely love True Food Kitchen. Every time I have gone it has been a great experience. Paul is awesome! He is both professional and welcoming. The food is amazing and fresh. My favorite is the burger and order it every time :) I highly recommend!

Went here during my birthday weekend. I got the veggie burger. It was pretty good. Not the best or the worst I've had. My sister got a gluten free pizza with almond ricotta she shared with me that was AMAZING. We had a lovely waiter, Isaac, I believe and I look forward to coming back.

We frequent True Food and have tried most of their menu by now. Ancient grains bowl is deliciously filling and healthy. I also like all their salads and entrees. My husband likes their burgers and steak. I had my first ever coconut chia seed pudding at true food some years ago and it’s one of my all time favorite healthy deserts.

Such a beautiful and clean restaurant in the inside. The service was all amazing from the hosts to the servers to the chef who even brought out one of my meals. If you are looking for some tasty and healthy food in Austin with vegan/vegetarian options look no further!! I even had to order twice in my short trip because the vegan mushroom and spinach pizza was top tier. The caramelized onions were sooooooooooo good nomnomnom and the vegan ricotta was the best I’ve had. Even the crust was a standout and I devoured every crumb—you could taste the yeast which was a positive for me as weird as that somehow feels to type. Anyways highly recommend!!!!!!

We went to True Food to celebrate friends Birthday. The food is delicious! I had the Lasagna. It was flavorful with fresh spinach. Our table shared a variety of desserts. All were amazing. The chocolate cake was amazing. Definitely something to share as it's very chocolaty. Service was wonderful. Not overwhelming like some places but very attentive. We'll be back for sure

Had high expectations of this restaurant but was let down by the service. Food was sub par, wished that there was more balance in fat and acid and that their coffee was better made. Service was poor. When we stepped in, there was an abundance of seats. The front of house asked if we have an appointment. We did not and we were given the look of "erm... so I don't know if we can find you a table". We were seated and the we ordered. We asked for ketchup but it was not brought out to us. No water refills and took awhile for us to get our server's attention for the bill. Will not be coming back again.

I had a Poké bowl. Boy oh boy they have a lot of flavor. Let’s face it, you can get Poké bowls anywhere. But it was absolutely delicious. Somehow all the spices in flavor came together in an amazing way. Hats off to you guys. Would absolutely get this dish again.! Thank you so much.

Beautiful, open restaurant! I love that you can see the kitchen from any seat in the restaurant. We tried the edamame dumplings. That weren’t too great to look at but they sure were tasty! We also tried the butternut squash soup. Which I loved. So delicious and perfect for a cold day. We were a little disappointed that they didn’t have the glass noodles. I can’t believe they ran out at 1PM on a Monday but I guess that’s just proof of how good it is! We had pesto pasta and a ranch chicken wrap. Both very very delicious. Our only complaint was that the food was not hot, at all. Not sure if it was the lunch rush or how they choose to serve the food but the dumplings and the soup would have definitely been more delicious if they were warmer in temperature

Every experience at a true Food is equally as superb as the prior. Consistent quality food, served quickly and with a smile. This location is a must go to with plenty of indoor and outdoor dining seating. If you live for clean food and want to fuel your body with top tier healthy yums then you won’t be disappointed.

We are visiting from the west coast and stopped in because we wanted some healthy, good food. Service is amazing, ambiance great, location great, food FANTASTIC. I forgot to take a picture before eating because it smelled and looked incredible. So happy we came here!!! (This is the teriyaki quinoa bowl with tofu). 10/10 recommend! And thank you to our awesome server (Stephanie) who told us some fun things to do around town! She was wonderful!

Having eaten at multiple True Food restaurants, this was by far the worst. The sweet potato has was served cold. When we let the server know, she offered no apology and brought us another serving, which was also cold. We had to ask another time, and that batch was warm. The server seemed annoyed, and again offered no apology. I also found a small chicken bone in the chicken avocado wrap. I hope they can figure out the service here.

Our third delicious dining experience at this True Food demanded a review. High quality food and and top notch service are undetachable from this restaurant. When the restaurant ran out of an ingredient for its lasagna, the general manager, Shawn, couldn’t have been more accommodating, and brought out a substitute dish specially made for us. Thanks for the great service, Shawn and Hannah!

Service is terrible! The staff treats you as if you're unworthy of their time or space. I had the grass fed burger which wasn't bad but the rest of my families food was not worth eating for free.

Had to wait 15 minutes to get waited on to get some water, order and then took another 30 minutes to get the food. I'd stop for a drink but probably not for food. Oh, I would have sent the food back because it was luke warm but didn't want to wait any longer. Not really impressed with the the wait staff especially the hostess, she passed by the table about 6 times and never said anything to us.😟 Joe

It was cold and we wanted to sit on the patio to avoid Covid spreading, but the heaters were not on. The waiter turned on gas heaters and directed the heat to blow downwards and warmed our table and us! The squash soup was delicious!!!

I have been a true foods fan for several years now, but I recently had the squash pizza (which I normally love) and it was totally disgusting and dry this time. Not sure what it was missing but it sure didn’t taste like it used to in the past.
