One of the best places I have eaten this year hands down. Their flavor and twist on food has me lost. It was amazing. Their salsa and their syrup are two tastes I've never experienced. Very great place to eat.

Our family loves diners, we visited many lovely and hole in the wall excellent diners in New England / east coast and we always look for diners. This place in Austin truly what we needed to find. Great Christmas decorations, happy, pleasant servers and amazing food. Highly recommended for diner lovers.

Phoebe! Phoebe! I LOVE THE FOOD HERE! Me and friend was visiting from out of town and we wanted to try a brunch place before we left. This place popped up. I love the atmosphere of this place. We were greeted by our server Danny which he was very sweet and professional. The food we ordered was Phenomenal. Please try this place, for it will not disappoint you. Thank you for the great Hospitality Phoebe!!!

Had our mother’s day brunch here. Food is just amazing! Great service. Cheeky monkey is so yum! Tried the seafood crepe - such good flavors.

We ordered two egg & bacon slab plates + brisket to go. The good? The food was good (great eggs), the portions were filling (my boyfriend had to help me finish off my plate), and the brisket was moist as I requested. The bad? Expensive - our total came out to $50. Maybe I just ain't in the right tax bracket yet, but $50 for two brunch plates (no appetizers or drinks) makes me a tad uneasy. Still, if you're looking for a great brunch in Austin, and don't mind the price, I recommend it.

Food looks good, but the taste was seriously lacking. I didn't even eat half mine, I gave it to my husband. This place was way overrated imo. Small menu and over priced. They sat us at the small bar where all the waiters keep their drinks and they kept just standing and drink directly in front of us it was weird. The only thing I really enjoyed was the thai tea.

Amazing breakfast/brunch options. I had the brisket burrito and it was perfect. I’ve never had anything like it before and it instantly climbed to the top of my list for favorite burritos. Also had an ice coffee on the side that was delicious. The side hash brown type dish that came with the burrito was pretty good but nothing life changing. Will definitely be coming back here in the future!

This little diner served up some impressive food. The deep fried French toast was crunchy and fluffy at the same time, very unique. The brisket eggs benedict was perfection. The square biscuits weren't too dry and the sauce on top pulled it all together. Our server was the real highlight of our morning. She was super sweet and respectful, and was very attentive to our drinks and extra requests for butter, hot sauce, and salt/pepper. This spot is a GEM for Austin.

The best breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant in Austin! The food is great with everything freshly made and nicely seasoned. The servers are extremely kind even when you have an unwieldy child making a mess. I’m looking forward to completing my mission of eating everything on the menu!

Not sure where to start. We randomly found this place and so glad we did! Don’t let the gas station next door fool you. Location could be better but the food was very good and our server was so nice (hate I forgot her name)! Get the Banana Foster French toast! The pancakes and eggs are good as well! The Cheeky Monkey was yum! Crispy fried egg wrapped in sausage, potato, and smoked cheddar! It is a very filling meal!

We like to check out a place at least three times before Giving a rating. They got it once outta three times right according to our personal rating system. Every time we went they were pretty busy during brunch. First time we went they got our order right we had a great experience. Second time they overcooked the bacon and eggs. Forgot to give us our drinks and barely serviced us. Third time they gave us overeasy although we ordered over medium eggs. We wanted all sauces on the side but they still added the bbq on the brisket and biscuit which we didn't like. The bacon was dry and overcooked. The potatoes weren't crispy. These are all my partners complaints. I'm just happy to not cook.

A delicious breakfast spot my wife and I visit often. Not a single item on the menu will disappoint! Highly recommend the Cheeky Monkey, Baked Egg, Biscuits and Gravy, and Chile Relleno (all pictured below).

This was my first time to dine at Phoebe’s Diner, and it definitely will not be my last. Food, service, and atmosphere were all superior. To have chicken fried steak again, and it’s gluten free… it almost brought me to tears. The potatoes were also so very good - crispy outside, fluffy inside. I mean, even the iced tea was really good. It’s a real gem of a place.

We had a great time. Yummy Blood orange mimosas. Brisket burrito, eggs Benedict and my absolute favorite, Bananas Foster French toast. Service was great. They were busy but we were taken care of. Highly recommend and we will be going back! Thank you.

Where to start? The service was absolutely excellent here. Really nice staff, and fast to the table. I had the chicken fried steak - it was fantastic. My buddy has the chicken Caesar wrap and it was also fantastic. The room itself was wonderful too - super cozy, well appointed and comfortable. Would definitely go again if I have the chance.

Austin’s food scene is one of the best in the country so it was hard to choose where to go on our first trip here but we decided to check out Phoebe’s diner based on a recommendation and it was a great decision. Located in a great area with a good amount of parking, we went for brunch and it didn’t disappoint. The deep fried French toast is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever tasted but get ready for a sugar overload (fully expected personally). Service was quick and prices are incredible for the food you get. We didn’t get but they have a bunch of cool mimosa options so that’s a plus as well. Overall 10/10!

Got the Baked Eggs and friend got an omelet. The wait was about an hour during brunch time and we got there at 11:30. Worth the wait. You'll need to valet during these peak hours or park around the block walk.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Phoebe's Diner in Austin, and it was an experience worth sharing. Accompanied by the Knead God family, we indulged in some truly remarkable dishes that left us craving more. First up was the Fried Chicken & Grits – a dish that transcended our expectations. The succulent fried chicken breasts paired with goat cheese grits were nothing short of brilliant. What truly elevated this dish was the addition of maple hot sauce and pickled chiles. The marriage of flavors, with the creamy goat cheese grits contrasting perfectly with the sweet heat of the maple sauce, was a taste sensation like no other. It's a testament to the chef's creativity and skill that such seemingly disparate elements could come together in such a harmonious way. Next, we sampled the Brisket Benny – a hearty and savory creation that deserves all the praise it can get. Chopped BBQ brisket, nestled on buttermilk biscuits, topped with over easy eggs and hollandaise, and drizzled with BBQ sauce – this dish was a carnivore's dream. The brisket was clearly smoked to perfection, with a mouthwatering smokiness that can only come from a skilled pitmaster. The accompanying hash brown casserole and garnish of green onion added a comforting touch that completed the meal perfectly. I must emphasize that there should be no assumptions made here – the brisket at Phoebe's Diner is the real deal. They take their smoking seriously, and it shows in every bite. Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or simply someone looking for a delicious brunch, the Brisket Benny is an absolute must-try.

Portions are sizeable. Good crunch on the cheeky monkey. Shrimp and grits came with chorizo- very savory. We thought Mr.crunch would be a closed sandwich however it is open faced. Will come back to try some of their sweet options!

It was decent. I’ve noticed a lot of places in Austin are extremely hyped and I think this is one of them. The food was pretty decent, I finished it so it was good. Nothing “wowed” me about this place. It’s not a fancy place by any stretch of the imagination. The service is pretty average, they were quick so that’s a plus. The menu had a little food stain on it. I tried the chorizo hash which was incredibly spicy. I had to add salt because it was a little under seasoned. I mean, It was edible ! I did not walk away from this meal feeling necessarily fulfilled and was definitely not fascinated. Great for some cheap brunch food. Probably won’t be back.

Cute little diner. Came in at 9am on a Friday. Shortly after arriving the entire place was full. I had to ask someone to place an order as I felt they forgot about me. Food camera out quick. I had the brisket burrito. It was a large portion but the BBQ sauce tasted "off" to me. I'd come back but only to try something else.

Decided to go to the Oltorf location for ease of parking. Found a parking spot. However, it is limited. The place is relatively small. A true diner with quirky decoration. The staff was friendly and attentive. Now I have to tell the miss. The biscuits were not what I was expecting. I was expecting fluffy, flaky Southern biscuits. Instead, the biscuits were like bread. Also, everything seemed a little too salty for my taste. I had high hopes, so I was disappointed. I need to try a second time to make my final verdict.

I was blown away about how wonderful the food is at Phoebe's. 100% will go back to try all the things. Tried the Brisket Benny for breakfast and it filled me up. Coffee was great, getting refilled regularly also. This place is a must try. Do not hesitate and get your buns over there for some grub!

A must try!! This location might not look like much from the outside but it’s a true gem. All of the staff were so friendly and the service was quick. The deep fried French toast was to die for! The cheeky monkey, corn bread muffins, fried chicken biscuits, and Vietnamese iced coffee were also absolutely delicious. Come hungry and/or be ready to take some home, the portions are generous.

Quite possibly the best breakfast place we've ever been to! We had the Chile relleno and the deep fried french toast. They somehow managed to have a deep fried Chile stuffed with cheese eggs and keep it so the crust was crispy the eggs were still fluffy and it wasn't greasy. Amazing! The deep fried french toast was equally amazing. Crisp on the outside but moist inside without being doughy. Perfect amount of sweetness and cinnamon. Wait staff was super friendly and attentive. Prices were really good. Especially considering the quality and large portions. I could see us making the drive from Dallas again for a quick stay just to eat again.

First time at this infamous diner! Recommend for out-of-towners, they’ve got an extensive menu, outdoor seating with surrounding misters for the Texas heat and doggos get water bowls brought to them <3 I had Phoebe’s Benedict’s and my friend had the migas, we both loved our meals and would come again! Also, they have Yellowbird, produced in New Braunfels, hot sauce on the table. Love local supporting local!
