Wow! The atchafalaya catfish was on point! The crawfish mixture on top of the fish and rice was such a great combination of flavours and textures, simply can’t go wrong! Absolutely hitting the spot. The rest of the menu looked good so definitely coming back! Very much recommended!

We had to reserve seats because it was crowded! I understand why. Friendly and clean atmosphere, from the time we walked into the door to our waiter. He was really good and the food was served quickly! Our meals were seasoned well and tasty. Next time we are in the area, Cypress Grill will be our choice

Best Cajun food I have had in a minute. The location is quite unassuming and might cause you to doubt the validity of my claim. However, this restaurant is truly a 5star experience. From the moment we walked into the door until we left feeling satiated and happy. Try the chocolate pecan pie. And anything stuffed with crawfish in their white sauce. The étouffée was yummy too. Ke Aloha 🤙🏼

I came in today on my lunch break and was greeted by friendly staff members. I asked if I had enough time to eat for a lunch break and Emily sat me right away! She checked up on me and made sure to give the check early. Food came out less than 10 minutes but maybe faster than that. Was hot food and so delicious! Really made me feel welcomed. Best lunch break ever! Thank you Emily for amazing fast service!! (: ALSO compliments to the chef!

Friendly atmosphere, nice music, great drinks, and delicious food. Was there celebrating my birthday and my friends and I loved it. They had never been, and it’s one of my favorite restaurants, especially when I’m homesick for New Orleans. You exceeded our expectations and have new foodies in my friends!!!!

I would give it 6 stars if I could. Really exceptional food. My waiter was very helpful, enthusiastic, and even did half orders of multiple meals so I could try different things. It is shockingly good and authentic. I will be back ASAP. Also it was a great value. My meal + desert was under $20.

I loved the stuffed avocado May entree, it was delicious. I’m glad my server offered to make a half order of my two favorite appetizers instead of me having to order two full orders and having left orders I wouldn’t have eaten. I would like to have the crawfish egg rolls filled with more crawfish or shrimp.

Cypress Grill filled was the Cajun craving I had. Great food! The boudin balls were slightly over cooked but the main course was delicious so I keeps its 5 stars. Get the Chicken Atchafalaya, a lunch special. It’s Crawfish Etouffée with fried chicken. Yum! Shoutout to Josh for being a great server! I’ll need to be back for dessert!!

Our group came here based on reviews. First time and luckily we came on a Tuesday and we're able to get the crawfish boil, which was very good. Although it would've been nice to get more potatoes and corn, the boil was still very tasty. Others in our group had the alligator pasta and a chicken sandwich. Didn't get any complaints about their food. Prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was good. Did have to wait 20 mins for a table during a Tuesday evening, which shows how lovely this place is. Would recommend and I'll be returning if I'm in Austin again.

Cypress grill has really delicious louisiana style dishes. For the past three visits, the service has been pretty decent. I recently tried their crawfish etouffee and it’s been my favorite dish thus far. Definitely recommend!!

Great place for brunch, lunch or dinner! This Cajun loving Texas girl loves the food here. The gumbo is very good, The chicken fried steak is fork tender with the perfect amount of Andouille sausage gravy. I absolutely loved also, the pancakes with the pecans!

I ordered a 3 meat platter and it wasn’t good. The fries aren’t “seasoned” not sure if their definition of seasoned is lightly salted but its not seasoned in the way you’d expect when you order seasoned fries. Five Guys has seasoned fries, Cypress Grill does not or they gave me the wrong fries which is another issue. The fish was also overcooked and the shrimp and crawfish were just meh. If I’d gotten this order in the restaurant it would have gone back. The taste of the food has nothing to do with it being delivery. I’ve ordered breakfast from here before and it was good. This meal however was not. I also ordered boudin balls and I’ve had boudin balls from several places but these are the worst I’ve ever had. There is relish? Or something inside of them and also inside the remoulade which is off putting. It makes everything taste weird, its so overpowering inside of the boudin balls. The boudin balls are crispy and the outside is good but they’d be great if it wasn’t for that relish pickly taste. Maybe some people like that but its not a taste I was expecting from boudin balls. They would have been sooo good if it wasn’t for that flavor.

Visiting from out of town and was craving Cajun food. Place was busy on a Friday night, but owner was able to find a table for us. The jambalaya and the seafood combo were delicious. Service was great and nice atmosphere. Came back a few days later to try the shrimp & grits and shrimp pasta rockefeller, again both delicious.

I WISH THE FOOD WAS THIS GOOD IN LOUISIANA! I worked in louisiana for six months and the only thing that are easy to find in the baton rouge/new orleans area are alligators. Apparently the food was exported. This place has authentic cajun flavor in texas size dishes. They even had seasonal sides. The fried eggplant came with a creamy, cheesy, zingy sauce. I would come here just for this. The watermelon salad was refreshing. Shout out to the staff and owners of this establishment! The service was excellent, and we had food in front of us in 10 minutes. The menu has a great mix of staples and things off the beaten path. Definitely must try if you are in the area.

May 2023 Cypress Grill is one of my favorite Louisianan restaurants where all items on the menu is really good. It’s hidden in a small shopping center but the secret is out. Every time I return here it seems more people know about this place. They added outdoor patio seating to help serve more. Best is to arrive early for lunch and seems midday is good to in avoiding to wait. On this day, my wife and I took a seat at the bar. Its not very large but the bartender was excellent in making us feel welcomed. I ordered my usual Anita Amber and selected the Lunch Seafood Platter with crispy catfish and dirty rice. It included tarter sauce. The place has great casual ambiance where artwork hangs on the walls. My catfish arrived and being just a lunch item it had good presentation. The breading on the catfish was dry and had great flavor from the seasonings. I just broke a piece off and dipped into the tarter sauce. The lunch item on has three pieces which was good enough for me. The dirty rice was also good and complemented the catfish well.

They have the best gumbo in the city. And watch out for when they have duck gumbo as a special. Great for when it's cold, like tonight. Aside from all the awesome Cajun food, they also have one of the best chicken fried steaks in central Texas!

Been here a handful of times and each time both food and experience was great. Went for brunch here for the first time and again was great! My friend got the Egg Napoleon... Pretty much Eggs Benedict with Crawfish Etoufee and she got a side of a very fluffy buttermilk pancake. I went with just the classic Crawfish Etoufee and it was delicious. Lots of little morsels of crawfish sweetness. Finished off with a grapefruit mimosa. Perfect brunch!! Love this neighborhood spot. FYI... They don't take RSVP but you can either call ahead or go online and put your name on their wait list up to an hour ahead. Try it and for a split second you feel like you're in the Big Easy!

The photo was after we were full. The food was delicious. Jambalaya, étouffée, catfish, fried okra all were amazing. Cole slaw not so much, it had bell peppers in it and that's all I could taste. The boudin balls tasted great, but I think the batter on them was too thick and or crispy. This place has a nice atmosphere with some jazzy, ragtime, zydeco music playing in the background. We had wine this time but it looks like they have a decent extensive cocktail menu. The service was very good, everyone was polite from the person that sat us, our server, the food runner and the bartender.
