The manager while we were there on 09/25/22 at 10:30pm was EXTREMELY RUDE. Hardly any sauce on the sandwich and the manager has an attitude when you ask for ketchup… like girl it is ketchup. They taking that out of your paycheck or something? No need to be so dang rude!

With only two cars in front of me in the drive thru, it was a 30 + min wait - yes over 30 mins; note- I was blocked in from front and rear as soon as I placed my order. When I got to the drive through window- I asked if the food was even still “warm”. “B” (name left off) felt the bag and said “no.” At least he did look sad for me. I left without the food. “B” said they could remake it; but - that would have delayed others - I wanted to be courteous and declined. Note: The staff could have thought about my food getting cold and likely others behind me- during that long wait and remade it (several times if needed) before I got to the window. #lostmybusiness 😓 I could have driven to the store, purchased food, driven home, and made my own burger. Absolutely unacceptable. If a single car takes 30 mins- have them move out of the way and continue to serve. 30 minutes of my life is wasted. May never return to Whataburger. Shame.

My recent visit to Whataburger was highly disappointing. ⭐ The first thing that struck me was the unpleasant odor in the place, which immediately set a negative tone for the experience. The wait time for my food was extremely long, clocking in at over 30 minutes from the time of order, which is unacceptable for fast food. To make matters worse, when the food finally arrived, it was of the lowest quality I've ever encountered at a fast food restaurant. Overall, it was a frustrating and unsatisfactory visit. I would not recommend this location.

Waited for an order for 45 minutes which never came. Asked for a refund which was we met with disdain by the manager — he told me “if you’re going to cry, cry at your mamas house” — like what, who says that? There was no crying, restaurant messed up my order and I politely asked for a refund.

Pretty mediocre. Maybe it's because I have Shake Shack as bias but Whataburger was basically a nicer looking McDonald's. We ordered a regular hamburger and a mushroom and Swiss burger. The fries were regular, nothing to rave about. The spicy ketchup was okay. I was expecting spicy. Idk not a fan. I heard the patty melt was good but again, probably not going to try it.

Decent place to have a meal. The only problem I have that keeps me away is the high amount of homeless & transiets there, always constantly asking for money or food. If they aren't inside, they're right outside by the door. I'm barely scraping by, I can't help everyone out. I certainly can't see myself coming here to be pestered by homeless people EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I come here. It's ridiculous. I just want to go have a quiet meal on the small budget I have without being pestered by homeless people asking me for money or food. Like damn. And it happens EVERY TIME at this location, walking in and walking out. They really need to do something about this ongoing problem.

Walked in to eat at this restaurant and all just about all the tables are dirty.. I don’t look like they busy.

This location is located just across the River from Downtown. Many competing Burger joints on the same block. Food was good not great. A little over cooked and over priced. But for late night eating/munchies it's perfect. Just be prepared to pay the price with you're wallet, and stomach... especially the next day. Recommended for late night eating if no other options.

Whataburger is always good, especially when it looks like this but who cares if the food is this good , go get you some folks !

I was so disappointed after so many years of this Whataburger location being my absolute best. I went in to order and use their bathroom, the bathroom was so filthy, stockpiled with toilet paper, no paper towels and dirty. I happen to have gone in after one of their employees. After I exited the bathroom, I went over to the counter & asked for the Manager,. A curvy Hispanics woman came over, I shared my concern. She shrugged her shoulders and said “we’ll get to it when, we we can” (verbatim) How are employees able to wash their hands and cook our food?? No thanks, if the bathroom is dirty and no way to wash and dry your hands. No one with dirty hands after seeing this will prepare food for my family and I. I’m not that desperate. 🤢

First of all, I am from London and I am an avid lover of fast food. Most American fast food makes me feel sick and doesn't taste as good as it does in the UK. We don't have Whataburger in the UK and I will say that the food tasted amazing. One of the best Chicken sandwiches I have ever consumed. Drive through was fast and easy. Food was all correct even when I asked for changes due to my allergies. Loved it and may be addicted.

It was a fairly decent meal for the three of us. I didn't get super excited about the fries but the chicken pieces were awesome!

When in place in order waited 35 minutes. When I asked how much longer I was. Told it was going to be a wild because online orders had to be taken care of first I asked for a refund in as I was asking for that. Another employee pushed me aside from behind. You might wanna think about hiring better employees

I love Whataburger. It's the first place my family goes when we fly to Texas. The Whataburger on 1st and Barton had some of the best service I've had at a fast food restaurant. Pre or post Covid

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received at any whataburger and Ive been to hundreds. The over weight lady working the window on December 21 between 10:30-11am was extremely rude to me. Placed my order correctly and she completely messed it up and started acting very condescending telling me I had to pay full price for all the sides i didn't receive. I will never go back to this location.

Advise to avoid this location. Overrun with homeless inside and outside restaurant. The service was slow, fountain beverage Coke tasted off, staff didn't seem to happy to be there.

I only come here when I can't get into Sandys. Same great food just don't expect much. Its on a busy street. You will be asked if you can spot some change. Unhoused folks might come in to refill their drinks. They paid for the cup; don't hate too bad. Staff is paid by the hour and they act like it not much sense of urgency. Might have to wait a bit, but your food will be hot. At least in my experience. Not my fav and also no deal breakers here.

The mushroom and swiss is the best, the fries are basic. They have alot of sauce choices including gravy just wish they had a dipping cheese sauce !

One of the best whataburgers in town, everything is good here.. from the burgers to the breakfast tacos and in between. The chicken sandwiches are good too. Try the breakfast sandwiches as well. Careful pulling in the drive thru, it's a bit narrow but no big deal. There is a little bit of a wait time on the drive thru but it's allright. Try the multitude of flavors for the burgers. Anyway eat up and gain weight then exercise and lose the weight and then come back and gain it back then exercise then eat again ... so on and so forth. You have my blessings to eat a lot

This whataburger serves unappetizing food. My good friend Mia ordered my order through her whataburger app. Salad was old and poorly presented. Received salad upside down in the bag. I also ordered an apple pie that I didn’t receive. I tried calling and the phone rang for a minute and a half until the call was disconnected.

Fast paced even when crowded. Enjoyed our fries which came out hot!

They were pretty fast to prepare my order. Foot quality was acceptable but not perfect.

Whoever was at the drive through (black lady with bob haircut) shouldn't be working there. Didn't say hi didn't say a single word. Put her hand out waiting for me to give her my card, shut the slider, opened slider to hand me back the food and card then immediately closed and locked it. Not a single word was exchanged. If you hate your job that much go work somewhere else. Simple as that. YOU signed up for the job at least be able to do the bare minimum.

We were told this is as good as In n Out burger. IT IS DEFINITELY NOT. It's surely a bigger burger which was about $5 just for their signature hamburger without any sides. Without comparing, the hamburger was just ok. Our custom orders were not done correctly - one of us didn't want mustard, one didn't want pickles etc. But we all got the standard the way their burgers came.

Tried to get a kids meal at a decent hour, but nothing for the kids were available, if you’re going to put it on the menu, please have it available. Much appreciated. Or at least order an alternative.

The burgers were pretty big but the buns were a little too large. It was a good meal for the price.

Place was crowed as there was a public event at the lake and we had to wait for almost one hour after ordering. The manager didn't solve anything and kept new customers getting in. Hamburgers are ok but service could improve a lot
